This is the second time I have visited this place in the last three weeks, on my first visit I have no time to explore this place well since on that time our group was quite large about 14 cars and 10 bikes also the time was not sufficient because we had to continue the off road to escape up to the axis road. It’s the only one access go through a portal which only opens until five o'clock in the afternoon, the weather at the time was heavy rain also so it was very difficult to pass through the road when it rained because it was slippery and at risk of landslides. On the second visit our group had only two cars and had plenty of time to look around the place. Basically this place is quite recommended for seeing sights that are rarely found in other places which are not too far from the city of Bogor, the beauty of natural stones arranged like a layer cake and a cave which although not too big but very amazing. This place has also recently built a Mushollah for Muslim visitors. One thing that has not been found in this place is adequate accommodation, making it difficult for visitors to rest in a relaxed manner and general facilities are not yet available. I hope that in the future there will be private parties investing in this place.

Sunday morning trecking with my sister and brother inlaw, we start at 7 Am an choose the Medium 1 difficulty level. Our first stop is a the famous Goa Garunggang which is a stone yard eroded by the water million years ago. Then we moved to the second stop at a small water fall not far from this place, then we go to the last stop which is a nice river with some big Boulder, before heading back to our starting point and parking lot. Great time, great view.

Tourist attraction of unique formation rock and cave. Ideal for selfie and instagram. Some spots are very similar with Tomb Raider film spot in Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Location is 5km walking from parking car site.

The cave is relatively unique, composed of many large stones that look like elephant legs (my perspective). To enter the cave you have to go down an iron ladder with a relatively narrow gap. Around the cave there are many streams of fairly clear water. To get to the cave location, you can trek around 8K PP from Wangun Sentul. During the trekking you will be treated to natural views that are soothing to the eyes.

Underrated but beautiful place! Looks like old corral reefes under a lake. Our guide took us to a cave area that goes pretty deep. Inside were a lot of bats. Very memorable place to see besides than just waterfalls

The place very natural, the view is absolutely stunning, the rock, the cave everything is beautiful. To go there you have to walking from parking space go to local village and then tracking hill, better you prepare your body before go here. Overall is good for morning tracking

Prepare physically well. Friendly entrance ticket Rp. 20,000. Luckily there was Kang Deden as a guide. Tariffs are not binding, as is the case. SMP explains herbal plants that we can use in an emergency if we are traveling to nature. Rock age. Be cool... Make sure to bring a change of clothes if you plan to bathe in the river. Lots of places to stop if you're thirsty. Standard price.

Great outdoor place. Kids friendly and very easy trekking activity. Come during weekdays for less crowd.

Good place for trekking from leuwi asih to goa garunggang,the view was nice and the road is properly,many families with young children also trekking here

Great hiking trails ended up here. If you have more time please check their cave and try to swim there. I got no balls to dive into it, don’t be like me.

Great Hike with splendid views of valleys. There many treks from easy to medium, and suits to children and your dogs

Very nice trekking route with final destination to leuwi asih waterfall. Should buy ticket for the guide beforehand. Overall pretty nice trip.

Garunggang Cave This review was written based on my visit to the cave on July 31st, 2022. It will cost you Rp20k/p to enter the area. Beautiful rock formation Clean tidy place About the cave, it is recommended to bring any kind of light (best: headlamp) you need a guide to enter the cave there were living bats inside the cave careful it was slippery overall it was a great place to visit but you need to be careful of every steps you take

Great hiking spot for a beginner, with 2km distance to the cave. Admission is Rp. 20k and a guide is mandatory if you wanna enter the cave. The spot itself isn't too crowded too. Overall a great experience, would recommend friends to visit.

Garunggang Cave can be reached by walking or cycling, although you have to push the bicycle because the road has steps, but it is really fun to visit Garunggang Cave.

Nice place for people who have not experienced to the amall cave. Totally dark and there’s so many bat there. The ticket to visit the stone block area (also the cave area) was IDR 15,000. For the guide to accompany you to the cave, it’s depends on how much you want tip the guide.

One of best experience ever had while trekking to this small cave with spring water inside the cave.

Been too tired from playing in curug kalijodo. We just hanging around at the surface of the cave. Ada tour guide yang mendampingi. Perlu turun sekitar 3 meter untuk mencapai goa. Not recommended for young children because the stairs are just too steep and narrow. I’d love to go inside the there one day.

You have to walk for about 3km to go to this place. it's pretty tiring but the view is ✨✨. besides, you get to exercise while enjoying the beauty of nature. there r a lot of good photo spots too!
