The hotel is pretty new, the rooftop pool is nice and offers sufficient space to relax (2 flatbeds and a hot tub). Also, the beds in our room were quite comfortable and the bathroom very modern. There is a big bandwidth with regards to service... some staff members are very helpful and friendly, some others unmotivated or slightly rude. The ability/willingness to fulfill special requests is very limited and different to what you might be used to when staying at bigger hotels. The breakfast is definitely a weak spot. You get to choose between 5 options of food and 4 options of drinks. Orange juice counts as an option so you can’t have both, coffee and orange juice. The eggs are tasteless... the complimentary small bowl of fruits was the same every day of our stay (melone, pineapple incl. the seeds, and papaya). You probably need a second breakfast 2-3h later...

We stayed 4 night in a deluxe double room we absolutely loved it. - the staff speaks English and is really friendly. - location perfect 200 meters from the bars and restaurants. - Room was big and super clean. - The bed and shower where fantastic. 1 small thing, there was no staff around the pool to serve some drinks.

This seemed like one of the few nice hotels in the city of Santa marta. It was new so = super clean. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and shower was big and had good water pressure. It was a nice break after all the nature stays I.e away from all the bugs/mosquitos. The pool at the top was such a relaxing place (including hot tub). There’s a restaurant on top that serves decent meals. Tasty dishes and reasonably priced.

The facilities are good and the staff in the restaurant is great but the reception staff is inattentive, the girl was not even bothered to say hi, she just stared at her phone while her partner was checking in all the tourists. Also they tried to sell you the tour to Tayrona for more than the double of the normal price.

The breakfast menu was really sparse. The tours they offer is from tour office Plama. I think they get percentage if you book a tour with this company because thy told us it is almost impossible to get into Tayrona Park without a Tour, which was definitely not correct! You can go to tayrona by yourself!

Modern, stylish, clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Not good as an office space.
