The
Lonely
Pine
Steakhouse
features
small
intimate
seating
with
mid-century
decor.
There
were
four
visible
employees
during
our
visit.
Each
was
one
kind,
knowledgeable,
and
very
attentive.
This
speaks
volumes
to
how
management
values
their
employees
and
patrons.
The
smaller
scale
allows
attention
to
details
in
food
content
and
staff
hospitality.
I
ordered
the
bone
marrow
appetizer,
4oz
wagyu
fillet,
seasonal
greenbeans,
and
strawberry
shortcake.

for
the
bone
marrow
was
the
reason
we
drove
an
hour.
It
was
the
gods
butter
I
had
hoped
it
would
be.
Upon
server
recommendations,
I
tried
the
tallowed
butter
with
the
fillet.
I
rarely
eat
steak,
therefore
it
has
to
be
spot
on.
Perfect
layering
of
flavors,
especially
with
tallow
butter,
and
peppery
garnish,
The
strawberry
shortcake
with
blood
oranges
and
crystallized
honeycomb
was
yet
another
layering
feat.
The
fruit
being
a
perfect
finish
to
the
richness
of
dinner
while
leaving
it
on
a
refreshed
note
of
sweetness.
Our
server
included
a
couple
of
cardamon
cookies,
after
mentioning
that
I
loved
them.
I
do
not
know
if
these
were
made
in
house
or
by
a
local
baker.
If
you
are
a
tea
lover,
these
cookies
were
phenomenal.
Overall,
The
Lonely
Pine
Steakhouse
gets
all
the
chef's
kisses.
