First - I want to start by saying that I have been very loyal to Red Dog over the last few years. I have used them for my three dogs to stay over the weekend and have used the Grooming Services (every 6 weeks for 4-5 Years). I am not sure what has changed but the service at Red Dog Cincinnati was TERRIBLE this last time. I dropped off two of my dogs to get groomed and received a call roughly 90 minutes after dropped them off that I needed to DROP EVERYTHING and come and pick them up. I panicked as I was unsure what was happening. The girl (who was helpless) on the phone told me that it was because one of my dogs had an expired vaccination and that they had to stop grooming immediately. Upon arriving at the facility - the manager was TERRIBLE. She yelled, she was extremely rude and not understanding and demanded I leave with my dogs immediately. Both of my dogs were half cut. A few things to note: 1. I was charged for full hair cuts. ($75 and $55). 2. Red Dog should have called us in advanced of the appointment should they require any additional information. The customer should also know if a vaccine has expired - but we also have a million things going on 24/7. 3. The Managment team at Red Dog strongly needs to reconsider a job in customer service. I do want to point out that Amanda in Grooming is absolutely amazing. She has gone over the top over the last few years for my dogs and you can clearly tell she cares. It's frustrating that she is backed by such a poor management team when she is providing the level of service that she provides on an ongoing basic. I would not recommend Red Dog moving forward - which is a shame given the great past experiences.

My puppy is the second golden retriever that was groomed by Amanda. They both have turned out beautiful. They had the golden look, fluffy, soft and hair that shines from end to end. I have always trusted Amanda and the whole staff at Red Dog.

You walk in and you feel good vibes! My dog is a rescue and is difficult to groom. Amanda did a great job and I definitely will be bringing him here for daycare and other services as well based on this experience so far.

We love red dog ! I feel great to know my pup is always in good hands and care ! Plus they have a flexible schedule and many options ! My pup always has a great time and meets new friends and smells! I recommend you try out red dog for daycare ( we call it school because my dog socializes and has friends and learns so much there ) or grooming services! The staff is really friendly and nurturing, and the managers at the Cincinnati location are really supportive, quick to respond and extremely helpful. Try out red dog!!

Everyone is the facility is nice, but having dogs out all day with only 3 people for 50+ dogs is not what I expected. My dog was in an altercation with another dog and they were prompt with notifying me, but they had no capacity to show tape of what led to the altercation. Based on what they told me, it felt like there were too many dogs for the team to handle and they missed signs that would have kept my dog safe. If I had known that they don’t rotate dogs and that they dont have some decompress time for dogs, I would have stayed with Pet Nation out in Loveland. Not every dog is suited to be out all day and I find that most dogs struggle with that much stimulation for 6-8 hours. I’m lucky that my dog was relatively unhurt but I know of more severe cases that have taken place at red dog in Madisonville. Think long and hard about dropping off your pup here.

This facility needs work. My dog was squirted with the squirt bottle (the same bottle used to clean up the floor) by the person attending the 50+ dogs the entire day. I did call a "supervisor" who was going to talk to the employee but no follow up was provided. Ive had been going there for about a year and not 1 time did they know me or the dog I was picking up weekly. I brought my dog's food and when I asked if she ate her food, I was told she didn't come with any food. I reminded the worker that I did bring food and described the container with my dog's name on it. She came back out with the container of food saying my dog was not interested in eating that day. (I guess not if you didn't know she had food!) These are just few things that happened. My dog deserves better and we have found a new place she is excited to go. Central Bark in Madeira is AMAZING

Our first time using Alexa as a groomer and she did a wonderful job on our two older Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She took time to really listen to their quirks and health history when I was dropping off and called me to let me know how it went. Her care and talent with my older girls was appreciated! They look great and came back completely unstressed.

My dog Charlie absolutely loves everyone at Red Dog and has such a great time at daycare! I also like having Red Dog be a one stop shop for daycare, boarding, and grooming services. I plan to continue taking Charlie here for years to come!

We have been bringing our pup Sasha to Red Dog for 5 years for daycare, grooming, and boarding. The staff are always friendly & greet her by name when we arrive for daycare, typically twice per week and she is always happy to go with them. It gives us peace of mind that she is in good hands. The facility is clean, well staffed, and very organized, and all of the dogs in the daycare area have been assessed to ensure their own safety before being placed in a group setting.

Alexa does my dog’s grooming and it always looks so good. I have taken him to a few different places and nothing compares. He is a doodle and Alexa always does so well with him. Would highly recommend her!
