Deeper Roots is my go-to coffee shop anytime I'm in Cincy! I love the atmosphere and the staff is always quick, friendly and helpful with any questions I have. They also have sweet treats and goodies on deck, if you need a little pick me up throughout your day.

I love this place! The coffee shop has such a unique feel to it. I've never been in one that is as unique. The shop itself is small, but the space is used perfectly. Seating is available in the front and back, also outside. NOW THE GOOD STUFF! The coffee!!! The coffee is one of the top in Cincinnati! The flavor bursts in your mouth with every sip and you feel the serge of caffeine rish your body. I love it! I've had a few things, i recommend the pour over coffee. I feel it has the most flavor and is fun tk watch. The barista measures the beans, grinds then makes the coffee..... right in front of you! Its an awesome experience! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Please try if you're looking for a new coffee shop or just visiting the area (located in OTR)

Delightful little shop across from Findlay Market. We were there for the opening day parade, and sat at the little tables out front to watch. Wonderful yummy treats freshly baked. Amazingly friendly service! The coffee was steeped individually for about two minutes and was very good. I saw a sign that they make babushka fresh to order - wow! - I wish I had ordered some... You don't see that everyday! We will be back for sure!

Started Coming here earlier this year, I've always had the espresso from other places that have carried their beans but coming directly to the coffee shop is absolutely the best, I love it here, the staff and GM are fantastic people!

I really like this place. It is popular and I see why.

I normally have a good experience here but during my most recent visit the barista who made my drinks had issues with my order and loudly made fun of it while she made it. I wouldn't have cared but there were other customers there that also had ears and could hear everything she said. Not sure what her problem was but I hope her day got better...

4/5 — friendly service and great atmosphere. I ordered the cherry coffee latte and it was okay. I wish the cherry flavor was more present in the drink. I do appreciate how simple their coffee menu is and the inviting layout of the shop.

The honey bear latte and chocolate croissant were very good. Great place to pop in if you’re around the market.

Stopped by while we were visiting oh to visit ikea. Cappuccino was good. Fun neighbor to walk around.

My macadamia milk latte was divine! Came 30 min before closing (ugh yes, I know and also h8 me) but was given incredible customer service + a delicious bev all the same. Their sweetness levels aren’t overwhelming at all, and the intentionality behind their future goals as an org listed clearly by the entrance is admirable. The open layout that ensures there isn’t a divide between the bar and the customer is truly unique- and the bar itself was clean (way to go barista!). 12/10 would recommend.

By far one the best espresso one can find in the Midwest! Service, the place itself, it doesn't get any better!

I always enjoy stopping here to pick up a bag of coffee to make my week right. It's hard to be motivated sometimes but once that aroma of high quality delicious coffee starts to fill the house it helps get my moving

My favorite coffee shop downtown! My go-to drink is the honey bear latte.

When I come in, they barely acknowledge me. I try to make conversation and am ignored. I guess I don’t fit the profile of a customer to converse with. Not even so much as hello or goodbye, have a nice day. I won’t come back. I’m over it.

Service was incredible. Approachable, warm interaction when ordering. Coffee was ready in a minute (it was a straight espresso but still). I loved the fact that the shot was accompanied with a small glass of sparkling water. Nice touch. The sitting area is kinda small as well as a little bland and dark. The coffee was better than I've had in many places in Cincinnati so far but still nothing to write home about. Parking in the area sucks but that's typical of these types of neighborhoods.

Was so pleasantly surprised by this coffee shop! I haven’t been able to find a quality coffee shop in Cincinnati yet and came across this place and it met all my coffee needs. Great hand pour coffee! The coffee seems to be roasted to a level that keeps with the integrity of the coffee bean. So if you like burnt coffee aka “dark roast”, don’t come here. I also got a macchiato and it was spectacular. The two people working were super friendly and knew their way around the coffee equipment.

Nice coffee shop, simple design and decorations. We managed to stop by when it wasn't busy at all, so it was nice to enjoy a little quiet in the back room. The coffee is prices decently and their signature drinks are tasty, although a tad too sweet and masking the coffee flavor. They obviously roast their own beans off site, they recently moved the roasting facility. We bought a bag home which is good as well. I like this location better than the one in the Oakley district, but to close a coffee shop at 4pm on a Saturday seems to make little sense.

I love the deeper roots coffee. They have great outdoor seating. I really like their signature drinks. I got a maple orange latte and it was delicious

Easily the most knowledgeable staff I've ever spoken to at a coffee shop. I wish I would've brought more money to spend. Everything on the menu is delicious. Go here immediately.
