My husband and I have been coming here for years. Since circa 2016. Hands down the best sushi in Tampa. Everything they have is tasty and flavorful. Would highly recommend if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed. They have a pretty big selection of sushi and sashimi. And some great appetizers as well. Check them out!☺️

I've been waiting for a Sushi place to knock my proverbial socks off. Mission accomplished. My app called Treasure Island, was a variety of diced sushi mixed in a sauce and surrounded by a wall of avocado. An auspicious start to an amazing lunch. I was astounded by the incredible sauce, then when I dipped my avocado in plain soy sauce I was startled by the flavor, even their soy sauce was great. My Hamachi app, fried yellowtail collar, was crisp, juicy and served with a sauce. Again, the sauce was amazing! Who the heck is in charge of sauces, give them a raise. Time for the real test, Sashimi. I got the deluxe because it's only a 2-3 dollar difference and you get the yellowtail. It had white tuna, snapper, red tuna, salmon and yellowtail. All of it was marvelous. When I tried the yellowtail sashimi I was dazed, I felt like I had a sushi high. As you may have guessed, I had a stupendous meal. The Miso Soup was just right. The ginger dressing a little on the sweet side if you like that. I was so happy, I ordered a Sapporo.

Another great hit from your favorite sushi connoisseur! 😂 Went with my family to Shogun so we were all first timers here; I went out on a limb based on the variety of reviews and decided to give this place a shot. NO regrets!!! 😍 I was sooo surprised by how great the sashimi was here, chef's were on point! I started off with the Treasure Island appetizer, which is various diced raw sashimi pieces in a light sauce, topped with masago and borderlined with avocado. First bite of the fish had me shook. Super soft and buttery, pairs well with the avocado. Very tasty! When I tried the Love Boat for 2, the moment of truth came when I tried a piece of the salmon sashimi and the tuna. WOW. I haven't had any fresher fish served to me before this, and that's saying a lot considering how much sushi I've had. The sashimi was so soft it melted in my mouth, with a buttery finish. No fishy taste whatsoever. My family was also very impressed, I think I blinked twice and it was all gone. This is the type of real sashimi I've been looking for, where a chef takes pride in what they serve, and where you go home dreaming of having more the following day. Great portions for reasonable menu prices, and the options offered are not too bad at all, good variety. The onlyyy reason it just missed 5 stars was mainly from the fried soft shell crab that did not taste well, and our server, which she might've been fairly new. So needing some things took a while to ask, and some knowledge on the menu items were confusing. Besides that, I'm definitely coming back to try more menu items! Crossing fingers and toes that this place remains consistent!

Sushi was good. Nothing to write home about, but solid sushi nonetheless. Service was a bit slow but they were very polite. Not a go to in my opinion, but good if you dont have a better option.

Nice and quiet on a Saturday around 1PM for lunch. I enjoy the atmosphere here, as there is a relaxing waterfall display at the front of the restaurant. The staff was delightfully helpful and friendly. Chicken friend rice was well made. I would definitely have it again. Sushi was all good as well. I was pleased with the portions of ginger and wasabi. All in all, two thumbs up.

What a pleasant surprise in the Walmart plaza! I usually avoid this plaza but have now found a reason to come back regularly. Food was fresh and tasty. All of the items looked great too... very admirable work and care with each piece. With so many sushi places to choose, this one is an easy 'yes'!

The sushi tasted good but the portion size is too small for the price. I got 6 pieces in one roll and 5 pieces in the other roll, which I found inconsistent. Usually at other sushi places, if they cut it in 6, the pieces are much bigger. I’m definitely still hungry and usually I’m full after 2 rolls or can’t finish. The ingredients were fresh and one of the 2 rolls were yummy. The Boston roll they skimped on the avocado and only gave me 5 pieces. In all, it wasn’t bad but there’s better sushi restaurants out there for sure.

I was looking for a sushi place and this place was pretty nice. I asked my server about a low carb option and she helped me out. I love the service, food, and environment

Went in for the first time tonight and sushi was delicious!! They have buy one get one half off speciality rolls on the weekends so it was tasty and affordable!

Horrible disgusting food unacceptable!! Tuna sushi roll was rotten tuna was black and smelled!! If we would of eaten this we could of been really sick!! Other Sushi we threw out as well. Need to change things over there before you get someone really sick!! Tuna does smell and look black!

I ordered to go when they just opened up. I can’t speak for the atmosphere. The food was well done and they made it easy for a picky eater like me to order exactly what I wanted. The host was nice and welcoming.

Fantastic sushi! I ordered on door dash and it was so good. I was kind of complicated with my order and they put the sushi chef on the phone to confirm everything with me which I thought was nice. He was patient and kind to make sure he made it right. He then CALLED ME BACK to make sure I selected the correction option with how I wanted it cut and the paper, I thought it was really sweet to confirm with me instead of just making it and hoping for the best. He was so kind and I will definitely go back in person or through door dash again :)

First time trying this establishment and we came in during their "happy hour" special time. All of our rolls were delicious and receiving the second one at half price was especially nice! Will definitely be back. Service was quick and courteous as well.

Food is great service sucks! The skinny Spanish girl and the other one with black curly hair that works Sunday evenings are complete trash! The white lady and other red headed Hispanic girl with glasses are awesome! I walked in today (Sunday) I saw the lazy Spanish girl with black hair and just walked out we’ve gotten terrible service from her and the skinny Spanish girl over 4 times and even spoken to a manager now when they are there we don’t even bother to go and we go quite often.

The service here was good. The food was pretty. But the flavors were very subtle and needed more contrast. We had chopsticks on the table in their wrapper that were not used. At the end of the meal, the server asked if they were clean. Given that covid is a thing, anything on the table should be considered unclean. It was obvious that the server intended to put those chopsticks on her next table. The soy sauce tray was also dirty and so was the metal strip along the side of the table. With all of the other great options around the city, we won't be back here.

A true hidden gem! The food here was simply divine and incredibly reasonably priced. The staff was absolutely amazing! A younger group that was prompt, courteous, and completely in sync. My new go to spot for sushi.

I used to eat here when I lived closer, and is a pretty good joint. The sushi is fresh and flavorful and they have a few good specials. Even now I’ll occasionally drop by to get their three roll lunch special, which is a great deal. It’s just the right amount to fill you up, and I’m rarely disappointed in the quality.

I came here about three years ago and had a great delicious sushi. Today I stopped with my mom to share the experience with her. The service was great and fast but the sushi was just ok. The tuna tartare was very fresh and yummy and the beat part of the meal. Would recommend.
