Just came to this Racetrac and doors were locked. Store associate said they were closing. Store is advertised as 24 hours, so it was pretty inconvenient.

I used to stop here almost every night before work to grab stuff to get me through ny overnight shift. I would leave early from the house to stop here even. But recently (the last 2-3 months) EVERY single night that I stop by they have the entire store closed for "cleaning". In what world do you need to close an entire convenience store to clean it? Especially when you are only seeing maybe 3-4 customers an hour. All Im trying to do is get a coffee and some sunflower seeds and I cant, likely because of one employees laziness.

The only issue is there is never receipt paper at the pump's I constantly have to go inside I dont want to go inside they need to fix this people are nice .

I was at the RaceTrac located on 6056 W Waters Ave, Tampa FL 33634 about two days ago and I'm sad to say it was a bad experience. I try to always put this brand of gas in my car because it's a good quality and it lasts longer than other brands. I was almost out of gas and I only had a $50 bill with me. I went inside and asked for $20 worth of gas. The cashier told me she didn't have any change in her till because there had been "a shift change" so there was nothing she could do. I asked for further assistance and explained I was almost out of gas. She just brushed me off and repeated there was a shift change and she called for the next customer. I was upset and as I about to leave but she yelled at me "What?! Don't you know what a shift change is?!" I couldn't believe the poor customer service I had received. Thankfully there was a Wawa gas station one light over because I barely made it there with the gas I had. The cashier greeted me with a kind welcome (something I wasn't even offered at RaceTrac). My transaction didn't even take a minute, once I was able to purchase the gas and receive the change, the cashier offered me a blessed day and I was on my way. Feeling much better than I did at RaceTrac. I guess it all worked out, with absolutely no help from RaceTrac.

This is going to sound petty, but it really irritates me that I pump gas using my credit card and ask for my receipt at the machine. They never have receipt material in the machine! I always have to go in and then wait in line to get my receipt printed. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it’s for a business so I absolutely have to have the receipt. What is the point of having a machine print receipt if you never ever ever have a receipt material in it? I could just pay by credit card inside if I wanted to go wait in a line. Literally👏🏼every👏🏼single👏🏼time!👏🏼 OK, I’m done with my rant! The employees are very kind though, especially Skyler.

Work near by! and Open Early!. Very Friendly Service And lottery online 6:30am Early.

I used to come here for lunch and the only wraps they had were chicken ceasar which tasted awful. Now, there isn't even that and then there's also never any roller items.

Compared to most gas stations, this one is a personal favorite! Its more than just Gas!

Management has a Bad horrible Attitude!! Could absolutely care less about the customers or its business. Never again.

Went here for ice cream after seeing the pictures of it on racetrac website for this location, turns out they do not have ice cream ...so we thought we would get a frozen drink but all the machines were down, so maybe a fountain soda .... Nope, all of those were down too. 2 stars only because they had gas.

So before I was going to post a negative review, I decided to call the customer care line first to get a positive response from them. Well, don't bother calling the customer care line, as they are not aware of any problems at the store level. All they do is take your information, in detail and forward it to some manager for that store. WORTHLESS My initial problem was that I stop at this store every weekday morning around 6:30am and get what I need for the day. (Fuel, beverage and snack items), and I get on the expressway from Tampa to St Petersburg. In the last few weeks, the store has either been closed with no workers or cannot take Debit/Credit in the store? Why can you pay by debit/credit at the pump but not in the store? ALSO, why can you get money out of the ATM and pay fees but not pay by debit/credit? Does not make sense. Furthermore, every time I pay at the pump there is not receipt paper in the machines. If I wanted to walk into the store (which I do not do on all visits), I would pay with cash and get the gas cash discount pricing. I think that no paper in the machines is a "MARKETING TACTIC", to get people to walk in the store to purchase additional items? ALSO, SO WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG TO GET RACETRAC'S DEBIT/CREDIT PROBLEM TAKEN CARE OF? I will be choosing a different route to work each morning, to totally avoid going to this store, starting today! MESSAGE TO OWNER don't bother sending an automated message stating that you would like more information and to call customer care, they do not have the capabilities to help you, they just pass it on to someone you will never hear from. This is not my first rodeo!!!

After the RaceTrac right by our house on Hillsborough closed, this became our go-to gas station and convenience store for many years. Store is clean, staff are usually polite, and compared to many other convenience store it feels relatively calm and safe if you come at night. I don't recall seeing dangerous or questionable figures loitering around really. On the downside, the pumps can be out of receipt paper half out of the time and the frozen drink machines are sometimes out of service for really long periods. I remember once half the flavors were out for almost a month. Aside from that store is well-stocked and they have many conveniences like warm breakfast items in the morning.

There is never any receipt paper at the pumps. The display was continuously asking for my rewards number while trying to put in my PIN this morning. I'm not a rewards member. I just wanted fuel. This station is the most convenient on my way to work, but I can easily go across the street.

Lost my ID @ one of locations and they trying to rush me off the phone ! So rude .

Better get your receipt! Won $19.50 from lottery. Normally credit & I pay difference. Said no to receipt. Was at pump thinking hey wait a minute, should have been almost $20 less than I paid! Got receipt, sure enough "OH I forgot to put it there" wow, how many times a day does she do that?
