    We ordered dinner from the QR code on the website. Great experience amazing customer service! Well executed franchise. Tbey asked us what sauces we want the young woman specified they didn’t have the crispy Cuban that day so we could change without waiting for the order to be finished. Really top notch. This is how the pollo tropical should be other places should take note. Shout out to my boy mauricio

    Never again! Nobody cares to do their job properly at this location. We had food delivered this evening and it's a joke. We're missing salad dressing, black beans, impossible meat and sauces. This is the last time we will ever order from Pollo Tropical ever again. Thanks for nothing!

    The food is remarkably great, and since the renovations under new management recently, the dining room is cleaner and more comfortable although it has a spartan decor and atmosphere. It's fine enough for very casual dining, and our best experience has been when we eat in the restaurant. We recommend ALWAYS checking the accuracy of your takeout and drive-thru orders before you leave the premise! We have had several meals packaged without items we paid for, or the incorrect item included, which wasn't discovered until we arrived home. (I must have paid for three or four desserts I never received.) The management offered to fix it if we returned, but it happened so many times, we gave up and just decided that the food is SO GOOD we'll still come back, but we do not leave without checking EVERYTHING is correct in the order.

    Idk why but every time I come here which isn’t often they run out of food or the food I want to buy. Why am I having to worry about that at an authentic restaurant? I was told to wait on the steak 10 minutes, okay fine, I come back and now they have no yellow rice or any style of chicken…..not to mention $4.29 for a very small parfait. Portion size was good but my 2 pieces of plantains seem to be dried out…Overall I still got some decent food.

    This restaurant is legitimately dirty.. I walked in and couldn’t believe all the trash and food on the floor and tables. The employee at the front was less than pleasant to me and there was an employee smoking right outside the entrance of the restaurant. After asking if they sold yucca, I left, because I was so turned off by the appearance and smell. Disgusting that a restaurant is presented like that.

    Our food looked nothing like the adverted product. There were things missing from each dinner and the food was mediocre. Our first experience was incredible in Homestead Fl but this was truly bad. While I understand they were busy there was little effort at presentation. Totally different experience than the first time. Probably wont go back. Was definitely not worth the $34 we paid!!!

    I visited this placed and went through the drive thru window. I purchased the original family meal. When I got home upon inspecting what I purchased, I was given a container of beans with nothing but water in them. I had specifically asked when I went through drive thru for them not to give me a container of beans with just water, but that is what I was given anyway. The next day I went back to pollo tropical and spoke to a spanish lady who said she was the manager. I told her what happened, she obiviously did not care that I was given a container of water that was supposed to be beans. I gave her the beans to show her that they were water only, she replied so what do you want, more beans or a refund??? I told her that I had to cook something else in the bean's place since they shorted me, I told her that this had happened to me 3 times already, she didn't care. She didn't offer anything for what this caused me, and handed me $5 and some change and then she walked away. My family and I have not visited pollo tropical since and I have told everyone that I know about it to save them from this experience.

    Just wow. Shockingly bad. I mean I've been here before and although they are a little overpriced and the portions are just ok the food was always good but today? The cuban sandwich was flavorless and mooshy, the cheesy yucca bites were cold, the plantains (which they initially forgot to put in the bag) were burned and the avacado on the salad was black and the chicken dry. Honestly I've never left a review with this many items so poorly cooked. Not to mention this all cost $31. I told my wife that I never want to waste money here again. Pathetic and disappointed on spending my $$$ there. Shame. I hope a manager or owner reads this and talk to the team there to take more pride in what they are doing for the customer sake PS I have noticed quite a few similar reviews for poor food quality for which there is a reply by someone. The owner should actually fix his kitchen and stop taking people's money. I'll make sure everyone I know steers clear of your establishment. Leave an honest reply please
