The bagels are really great and they have a wide variety of bagels and muffins. Plenty of different options to choose from and the staff are very patient and helpful. I got 2 bagels sandwiches and a Java chip frozen coffee drink. Everything was delicious. I chose and herb and cheese bagel for my bacon, turkey, ham, blt bagel sandwich. It was double toasted to perfection and it was heavenly. The Italian bagel sandwich was also very good. Both sandwiches came with pickle spears, which was also nice and unexpected. The amount of filling and meat was very good and every bite was consistent. The prices are decent. I will definitely be back for another bagel sandwich and to try some other drinks, bagels, and pastries.

This place is GOOD!! So glad we finally tried it! Bagels are fresh and chewy, muffins are moist and the cream cheese selection is amazing!! They have good pricing and promotions all throughout the week like half price off bagels on Mondays and half price off muffins on Wednesdays. This is now my favorite breakfast place and definitely be coming regularly!

I drive 20 minutes to come here at least once a week even though there’s another bagel place right by my house. Their prices are very reasonable, and their bagels are really good. They have bagel sandwiches for breakfast for around $4-$5. They also serve muffins, sandwiches, and smoothies, and tasty coffee here. Monday through Thursday they have daily specials as well. With the best one being in Mondays where you can get half off on all bagels. There is a nice dining room as well, so you can relax while you eat your food. I feel good about coming here, and supporting a local business.

Ordered two sandwiches. 1st one was done incorrectly, they apologized and offered to provide it free on second visit. 2nd visit, I called to order the sandwich that was made incorrectly and another sandwich. Manager was very short on the phone. When I picked up my food the sandwiches had not been toasted as requested and paper was left in my wife's sandwich. We've been going to this place for years, sadly the service we have received from this place is getting progressively worse.

Went in here for my first time yesterday. Was the second standing in line. Two young girls working. Placed order and was waiting. More people started coming in. 3 people walked out with their order. I finally asked them about my order and they lost my ticket for my order.how do you lose someone’s order when there’s only 1 person in front of them? They would have just let me sit there waiting if I didn’t go up there. No apologies from these young girls either. Older lady came on shift and she apologized and was nice. As I told her it wasn’t her fault. These other girls need to have better customer service skills and be nicer. I won’t ever go in this place again.

I wanted to go to this place because there is one in my hometown that I would always go to. This one has a lot of younger people working at it and a woman, who is probably the manager, was the only one ringing people up. This slowed the line down a lot. I guess my husband ordered a mini chocolate chip muffin for our son and when we were given our order one of the younger guys filling the orders accidentally gave us a regular blueberry muffin. I didn’t realize it until I pulled the muffin apart to give a piece to our son because he was being fussy. Anyway, I told the woman ringing people up, I think they gave us a blueberry muffin when we asked for a chocolate chip. She looked upset and told the younger guy filling orders that he gave us the wrong muffin. I said “no worries it’s totally fine”. But the guy said “oh sorry” and handed me a mini chocolate chip muffins anyway. Without missing a beat the woman snatched the mini muffin out of my hand and said “no I rang them up for ONE MINI MUFFIN”. And gave me this look like I was robbing the store or something. I was shocked that she did that in the moment, but now looking back I find it kind of funny. I’m leaving a review because that’s not really how you should treat customers. If your staff messes up just say sorry, make it right and move on.

The biggest tragedy is we’re about to move out of Tampa and just found this bagel shop today. Absolutely phenomenal service and the kindest employees! I got a Asiago bagel with Lox and my boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich and everything was so amazing and came out fast! Such great prices too!! Absolutely suggest to anyone looking for amazing authentic bagels in Tampa/Wesley Chapel!!!

A local bagel shop that is cooking up some extraordinary bagels. Today I had a breakfast croissant with sausage, egg and cheese. It was really good. Also I got a dozen bagels with a cream cheese, makes a strawberry and cinnamon and sugar. Everything was fast and efficient if you looking for a quick bite in the morning look no further. And they are making some of the best coffee out.

I love this place! Very tasty, fresh food! Everything I've tried is delicious 😋.. hot breakfast sandwiches, a variety of fresh muffins, and really good coffee!! It can get a little crowded in the dining area, though, since it's a very small café..so I do recommend take-out if it's busy!

They are without a doubt the best bagel shop we have been to since moving down from Massachusetts. Love the Asiago, Everything, and Cheddar Herb bagels. They also serve great coffee. Must track Black Velvet.

Upon arriving to pick up my online order I was ignored for a bit which is whatever but when you do acknowledge someone don't sound like you don't want to be there. The lady that helped me sounded like she could care less I was there. Then after I was handed my bag I leave and halfway home realize I am missing half of what I ordered. Now I understand that I could have checked while I was there but that defeats the purpose of ordering online and even tipping which I did only to get half of what I ordered. Food was Meh I could have ate Burger King and paid less than half of what I did here. Won't be back and advise anyone else who hasn't tried to make your decision a hard pass on this place.

The bagels i got weren't bad, pretty close to a new York bagel, a bit under cooked but it seems like maybe everyone orders them toasted? My issue is the amount of butter on my onion bagel was pretty sad and the vegetable cream cheese (which there was plenty of) had a wierd taste i really don't care for. I might try getting just a half dozen next time or i might just skip it all together.

This is the first time me and my family as a minority visited Big Apple Bagel and was not as welcome as it should had been for us especially the young oriental woman looked at us like she seen a ghost being that she is a migrant and she should know better not to treat anyone that way; However, me and my family ordered the “BLT” which was so delicious other than lack of bacon once the bagel was cut in half I/2bagel with bacon 🥓 and the other 1/2 without therefore we had to eat just cream cheese lettuce and tomato not very pleasing what a disappointment. Would we visit this establishment again of course but hopefully with a better experience.

Born and raised around the corner. Love this place been going for years. Sadly I was subjected to tip fraud. Plain and simple (like there bagels) tipped 0.82 ¢ to make a perfect 10.00. After going home and a few hours later noticed a $2 extra charge. Don't get me wrong money is money and it shouldn't revolve us, however not a fan of tip fraud :(

TL;DR: Big Apple Bagels in Lutz, FL failed to deliver on its promise of authentic NY style bagels. Our order was incomplete, with missing cream cheese, and the bagels themselves lacked the texture, size, and flavor characteristic of true NY bagels. Save yourself the disappointment and opt for Einstein's bagels from Publix instead. ------ I had high hopes for Big Apple Bagels, finally anticipating a taste of genuine NY style bagels right here in Lutz, FL. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a letdown. From the moment we received our order, it was clear that Big Apple Bagels had no idea what they were doing. To begin with, we had ordered a bagel with cream cheese, a simple request that should have been easy to fulfill. However, upon arriving home, we discovered that the bagel was devoid of any trace of cream cheese, despite having paid for it. It's astonishing how a supposedly professional bagel shop can't even manage to include a basic ingredient in an order. But the disappointment didn't stop there. The bagels themselves were a far cry from the iconic NY bagels I had been craving. First and foremost, their size was pitifully small compared to the generously sized bagels you would find in New York. It was as if they were serving miniature replicas instead of the real deal. Even worse, the texture of these so-called bagels was completely off. NY bagels are known for their chewy, dense interior with a perfectly crisp crust. However, the bagels from Big Apple Bagels were disappointingly soft and lacked any substantial bite. It was like biting into a bland, doughy mass that lacked the satisfying chewiness I was expecting. To add insult to injury, the flavor of the bagels was equally underwhelming. NY bagels are renowned for their distinctively delicious taste, but these bagels tasted stale and flavorless. It's truly a shame that a shop claiming to specialize in NY style bagels couldn't even get the most fundamental aspect right—flavor. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better bagel shop that actually understands what it takes to make a genuine NY style bagel. Big Apple Bagels in Lutz, FL is simply not up to par, and there are far better options available for bagel enthusiasts seeking the real deal.

A variety of bagel and cream cheese selections. We got the Southern Tradition (with sausage, bacon, and ham) and the Lox & Cream cheese. Wish the bagels got a little more toasty. There’s several daily deals - for example: half priced bagels or muffins, 99¢ coffee, etc. It appears to be a popular local grab & go spot and there was both indoor and outdoor seating.

One of the best bagel sandwiches I've ever had! Super fast and friendly staff, really glad we ditched staying in the Starbucks line because our lattes are really good too.

Bagels are delicious 😋. Service is always great thanks for your service during the pandemic, I'm so happy this business survived because they have the best Bagels, Muffins and Coffee in Tampa Bay.

Good (not great) bagels. Prices were very reasonable (I ordered two bagels/lox with cream cheese). The muffins looked excellent, but I didn't order any. Staff was friendly. Would have given five stars but I have had much better bagels elsewhere, probably because this is a chain and the best bagels I have ever had are from small mom and pop bagel shops.

When there was a Big Apple Bagel in Apple Valley Minnesota the bagels and the cheddar twist were delicious. I’d drive over an hour just to get them. Then for some reason they went out of business. So when I was in Tampa and found out there was a Big apple bagel close by I went there. Well it’s not the same. A little disappointing. Their bagels are still good, but the cheddar twists are not made the same anymore. So now I don’t feel so bad like I’m missing out on anything.

"Manager" behind the cashier was extremely rude. Fought me on me trying to use their app (which an employee told us about) and said even though I bought a qualifying item for a measly stamp, she refused. Said she has been there 16 yrs and this is the way it goes. Said her employees had no clue what they were saying and was overall extremely rude and left me speechless. I've come here a lot due to it being close by however- the toaster is always broken, the sizes get smaller each time but ultimately due to her rudeness, I will not be coming back. If you want a regular bagel with basic level of service- go somewhere else!
