Relax and treat your taste buds at this Mary Street Bakery. Take away or sit down for a dine in service. While you feel like you should dress up a bit, it's actually a very relaxing atmosphere. I've been here a few times and haven't been disappointed yet. Their cakes and pastries are definitely worth the stop. I can recommend the almond croissant and the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cake. I was surprised by the moistness in the cake and crunchiness the croissant

To be honest I was extremely disappointed with this particular Mary St Bakery, comparing this with the other branches, this is probably the worst of the lot. The service was not too great as the staff appeared to me to care more about themselves. The selection was quite poor already and the staff made it worse by packing up all the sweets. (I kid you not) and packing home quite a lot for themselves. I noticed heaps of lost sales as people came in disappointed by a lack of sweet stuff.

I love the scrambled eggs here! They are fresh creamy and soft!! The juices and coffees are delicious as well! And the donuts are the bomb! I recommend you going here it’s totally worth it! *the staff are incredibly friendly 💗

Saturday morning brunch, we had the Beetroot fritters. Good size serve and delicious. Always yummy baked goods available, the lemon meringue donut was amazing.

Dylan made the most amazing coffees for us and gave such lovely service, checking in to see if our coffee and food was good and if we needed anything/were being served. He greeted us with lots of enthusiasm and we instantly felt very welcomed! 😁 This was our first time visiting; will definitely be returning!

Service is poor. The waitresses ignore you, look away when you arrive and you have to grab them to get served. I asked them to serve me twice. They should either have table service or not have it. Very average!! They need to be trained up to at least pretend they give a rats when someone sits down and wants to order. Pointed that out to the waitress, she argued with me, says they were too busy! I said you actively ignore customers, it’s rude, take ten seconds to welcome them at least, make eye contact. She was rude, didn’t accept the advice. Who is managing this place???!!

The shop is located in the Empire Village on the side that faces Beecroft Park. We got a table outside and had a look through the menu. The food items looked quite interesting. They also had cabinet food inside by the counter. I tried the smoked pork belly with a malted milkshake. I quite liked the milkshake. The pork belly was also quite nice with crackling and well cooked and seasoned beans. We also grabbed some donuts from the cabinet for takeaway and they were quite nice, particularly the pistachio one. I quite liked the cafe and the proximity to the park was nice if you were wanting to have a walk before or after the meal.

The food is amazing we had been going here for months every Sunday for a large breakfast. The service has gradually declined to the point we just have up and walked out the last few time. This is a great location and great mene if you can get served.

Came here with not much in mind. Left with an fruitful yet extravagant expertise. Firstly, this very kind lady (I think her name was ellie), greeted me at the counter and served me an my comrades with a very pleasing meal. The coffee served by the barista’s (Dylan and Adrian I’m pretty sure) was exceptional with lovely art, I could see the talent. The other staff were also exceptionally kind and caring. Great catering. Food was wonderful. Would recommend to a friend. Well done Mary street bakery team! 😇

Have been here 3-4 times. Each time, I got a pastry, and each one had been stale. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but have gone there early and late, and it was the same each time. If your name contains "bakery", pastries should bot be stale. I also went there to sit in and was told at the counter to take a seat and someone would take my order, I waited for 15 mins and nobody came, so I just left. Won't bother returning, unfortunately.
