No wait time at arrive, but when leaving there were people waiting. Therefore, I can't tell you approximate waiting time. Menu is extensive, something for everyone. Establishment was super clean. Excellent service, food and prices. When billed the tip was already included.

Lets be straight with Mercado San Benito, it is an amazing looking restaurant, with worst service ever, and overpriced food that looks good, but it has no taste. They need to hire waiters and waitresses, because I saw 4 standing next to my table just having fun, and none could fix me a drink because they were not taking care of my table. Also, they need to hire a chef, because they forgot to add flavor to the food. Finally, if you love waiting an hour o hour and half for table, and aditionally 45 min to get your food served, look no further, they take long enough to wish you ordered dinner early in the lunch time. There are other places like this. Not getting back ever to this place.

This may be the best Torta in Mexico. A bold claim but well deserved. Drinks are on point and the service is great.

Loved the ambiance, music and lighting. The waiters are really funny and relaxed. I ate Tortilla soup which was good but not mind blowing and tacos, which were very tasty. I recommend going on birthdays as they do a little spectacle of it, gift you ice cream and a discount off your total paycheck. Overall, a really nice place that provides an experience and also good food.

Such a vibrant and fun place. We came by on a Thursday for their drink specials; after 5pm they are 2 for $159. My husband had the torta regia and he really enjoyed it! There is so much to look at and the service was fantastic.

First time visit. The drink menu has many options and good price too! Had the Clericot Ay chabela, chabela! and a Paloma, very tasty and refreshing. Food was good! And the dessert by Amapola pastry oooh my god. The place has a great ambiance. Will be returning soon!

It's a beautiful place with delicious food, very comfortable and the birria quesadillas were amazing. Only draw back is it echoes, so it's very noisy and my ears were popping.

This used to be my favorite place to go eat. However, a few days ago my family and I decided to go. We never had a bad experience after this day. We waited for an hour and a half. People were still showing up and they were letting them in. I decided to talk to one of the ladies who was at the door. She rudely told me that they still had no tables available. I was okay I understand that part. But why are you letting people in who just got here? Then I asked her if she could sit us outside because all the tables were available or if she could add some chairs to a big table they had in the corner. She then started to ignore me. One of the managers came. And rudely said to me and mom and to another lady what was going on. She just started saying that her policy didn’t let her move the tables or chairs or sit us outside. She then started saying if I didn’t like her policies then I should leave. The manager raised our voice to us. My family and I decided to leave after them treating us professionally. Never coming back to this place again. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! & They also erased my comment on Instagram.

Good place for tourists. Kid friendly, parking gets packed during the weekend. Yo have to find parking in nearby businesses or streets. Safests would be at Galeria Tec parking. Servers are nice, managers do not impress.

Great place for food my fellow americans, lunch time can get pretty busy. If you're in the sweet coffees, I recommend the local sweet traditional coffee.

For my taste, this wasn't a great Mexican restaurant. The tacos were skimmed. And you can not order different tacos it has to be one or the other. And if you want 2 asada and 2 tripartite or of something else you can't, it's extra! And no complimentary chips well you wait for the food. And salsas were half full. To me, there's better places than this one..

Had a very bad experience, found a fly under my salad to start and the Manager came to give excuses on why it was there. He offers dessert and coffee to compensate for the inconvenience yet post a charge for the coffee plus a refill which never happened. To make matters worse, the waitress brings the reciept and I first informed her that the coffee was supposed to be free along with the dessert as per the managers statement she is friendly and goes to speak with the Manager. She returns stating the coffee was not included and was asked to call the Manager to speak with him. She returns a third time and rudely throws a corrected reciept to the table and walks away and Manager never came to speak with me. Never again will I visit this place nor do I recommend it to anyone, if I could give it zero stars u would!!!!

The overall service and food were amazing! The only thing that made me very upset is that a couple arrived after us, and since they knew one of the waiters, they were passed before us. We were there for over an hour waiting for our name to be call. The staff obviously made an excuse to justify it.

Awesome place for big groups! The restaurant has a playground for kids and outdoor seating and smoking areas. Will come back!

The food was not the best, the place is good, and the prices are high for the quality of the dishes.

Great good and amazing atmosphere. The restaurant gives you the feeling of being in a real mercado (fruits and vegetables market). We ordered for appetizers guacamole, queso fundido with chorizo (molten cheese with chorizo) and fideo seco which is basically very short spaghetti with a sauce which is also very worth trying. For entree I had the enchilada.

Great place to drink beer and tequila. Please ask for the loaded potato with tripitas
