Wanted tapas and stopped at this wee cafe. Great selection of reasonably priced tapas dishes which were decent sized. Waitress advised we had ordered too many and she was right. Really enjoyed them all but the meat stew was tastiest. Red house wine was excellent and cheap. 2 Euros a small glass. Worth a visit.

Cosy place with terrace overlooking the main square, excellent staff, good food in general, try the Fusion salad, exceptional!

We love this bistrot and have returned because the service is great and the menu well formed with a good balance of dishes. As I’m allergic to fish and seafood they truly looked after me. I’ve had terrible experiences on the costa brava with many ‘good’ restaurants turning us away saying they can’t guarantee no cross contamination. We love our gastronomy so it’s great that in menorca and places like es bien we can enjoy great food, fresh produce and good value. We had huevos rotos with sobrasada followed my lovely magret de pato and fillet (solomillo) steak then cheesecake. Thank you for a great experience- once again!

Lovely friendly staff, excellent tasty food. A very nice vibe inside and out. We'll worth a visit. The veal was cooked to perfection and the Cava is excellent t, especially for €3 a glass!

we arrived very late here in Menorca,during our first day, we cant find a place to have dinner but luckily they accepted us at 11pm.. very delicious food, friendly people too.. we decided to come back again tonight for dinner and again they did not fail us and even remember us and sitted at the same table.. Thank you so much..

Perfect place to eat we didn’t reserve but still got a place for 7 people. They arrange a fast table for us. Waiter speak English so great point but too much noise…

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Es Born in Ciutadella de Menorca and it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu showcased the finest local meat and cheese, highlighting the authentic flavors of Menorca. We indulged in the entrecot, which was cooked to perfection and left our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. What truly sets Es Born apart, however, is its exceptional staff. The team was not only attentive and efficient but also remarkably friendly. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to cater to our preferences added to the overall delightful dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The attention to detail in both the decor and service did not go unnoticed. We are already looking forward to my next visit to Menorca, as dining at Es Born will undoubtedly be a top priority. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting

Absolutely lovely meal at Es Born last night staff very friendly and made good conversation which I feel is important. Almond cake and sweet wine was a very nice great combination. Great value for money the whole meal, definitely return if in the area again.

The service has been amazing all the way throughout our dinner and we spent a very relaxed 2 hours in the restaurant. We had various Tapas to share which were all absolutely delicious, at the end we shared a fabulous dessert and I had the best cappuccino in all in Ciutadella. We can only recommend this place, please go there and enjoy.

A wonderful Minorcan cafe and bistro. Has a great shady position in the square, serves great coffee and has a nice menu of typically Spanish breakfast dishes. Prices are very reasonable, 2 Cortado’s a sparking water and an ensiamada just €7. The lady and gentleman who seem to run it are lovely. I alway think you can judge a place on who uses it and even in the height of the tourist season there were lots of locals who would meet there each morning.

Terrible service: the waiters were very slow and unorganised. Also, I asked for cheese to be removed from my main. When the mains arrived at the table for my friends, the waiter said that my salad couldn’t have the cheese removed so I had to pick another main. At this point my friends were having their food without me. No vegan options on the menu and not accommodating.

Went there for breakfast. we were charged 2e extra for ice to go with a coffee.

Below average food with above average prices.
