This place is absolutely disgusting. Roaches everywhere. Run down moldy rooms accompanied by bed bugs. Don’t waste your money. Seriously. This place should be shut down.

Room was sold from up under me. I made it clear that I was in town for work and that I needed this room for at least 3 months. After one week I go to pay for the next week and was told that I had to move out because somebody else was going to be staying in this room. I was so confused and angry.

I had an opportunity to visit the Tampa property prior to actually starting my month long visit. I was shown a room typical of what I would be staying in. My strongest recommendation is for you to do the same BEFORE you stay here. The room was very small but did have all the amenities you see in the pictures. I looked at a single queen room and there was very little space to move around in. There was a fair amount of storage space. But, there was an awful smell to the room. I had hoped an extended stay studio space would provide at least some walking around room. Not the case and the blandness of the decor made for a very poor overall first impression. I cancelled my reservation immediately upon leaving the property. I do not recommend staying here for any extended period of time.

I appreciate the weekly rate although a little higher than the other weekly rate extended stays. The room is pretty good I got the mid-grade room they have a basic and upgraded and a premium. I have seen not a bug which is very important to me. The guy at the front desk was less than helpful and pretty much rude to me the 2 * 3 * rather that I've interacted with him overall pretty good the room could use a fresh coat of paint and they could probably replace a couple things but overall pretty nice. Pretty quiet outside I'm probably the loud one LOL

When you 1st get to the hotel they want you to check the room out. And upon checking the room out it appears clean and everything is fine. But once you get unpacked and settled and leave and come back is a different story. There are roaches coming out of the walls and everything and I tried to report the toilet not working. The only thing I was told that on Monday 2 days after we checked in was that they already knew about the bugs and had someone coming to spray and that the toilet would be fixed that day. Nope it wasn't fixed it was actually worse.

So I'm not very familiar with this area in FL. I was training for 2 weeks and I was looking for a reasonable place to stay. I saw the photos and the price and I was actually surprised. When I first saw the room I noticed I did not have a queen bed as I had booked. Then we started noticing bugs coming from behind the fridge. Lots of them, I haven't seen so many in my entire life. Roaches... We went to the store to get spray after we read that we could not be reimbursed. I was sicken. We are decided to work it out for the next 2 weeks since we paid for it. I hate this.. Oh yes they are in the fridge as well.

The only good thing about this place was the manager did everything he could to accommodate. The rooms look NOTHING like what's pictured online! We ended up not staying

You get what you pay for. The room was super dirty when we checked in, no one cleaned the whole month we were there either. I gave it 2 stars because it does have tv, internet and a way to cook. If this is your only option, it’s livable. There are roaches, not a lot but there are some. Bed bugs are a possibility as well (luckily we didn’t have any, I’ve talked to a few people who had a problem with them though in other rooms). Just be careful. The motel was quiet for the most part, not a lot of noise. The guy at the counter was nice as well. You do have a way to wash clothes, although 3 out of the 5 machines are down atm.

There is one guy here that is really rude. I leave my card by mistake and because he was on the hall I let him know and start saying "we don't even start already (with a bad tone) what can I do for you" like if it was bored of his job. The room keeper don't do their job neither. They don't change my towels and toilet paper. There are a lots of cockroach, babies and adults ones. Good thing is, and is only that the place have some good places to go out and eat. And is not something that should be in this post just letting people know. The guy from the office is really nice but the others have no manners at least to say a freaking good morning. If I can give nothing of stars that's what deserve this place.

I’m a travel nurse, came until my contract complete . Toilet kept breaking , old smell in room ( needs new carpet ). And I mean a strong smell..I bought tons of fabric freshener etc. The beds are dirty and I saw 2 roaches in the room . I got the location mixed and thought pets were allowed , worker saw me outside and informed me to find a home for my puppy . My car breaks down ,I’m sweating like crazy troubleshooting my car and stressing to find a place for my dog so LATE in the evening. He offered no sympathy only kept asking about my dog .Very heartless . At least give me 24 hours seeing I was having car trouble. I booked for 8 days and was charged for 7. I thought he was going to automatically charge for day 8 since he had my information. I get off work ..exhausted and he had locked me out of my room. But my reservation was for 1 day . It was NOT MY Fault the 8th day wasn’t charged . Then charges me a $20 late fee. POSITIVE Note; location is good (.no stores nearby). Decent size refrigerator and nice TV. But that old carpet smell in 149 is a NO!

The guy at the front desk was very uninviting, as was the entire property. Nothing nearby except industrial businesses and strip clubs. Lots of strip clubs within 1 mile. Roaches scattered when I turned on the lights. They call somewhat new linens and a little paint on the wall "updated," but it's really just lipstick on a pig. Don't rent this pig.

This use to be an ok place. Since the gentleman who was here before running things moved on to a better opportunity, it’s just gone downhill. If you wanna pop your head out for a breath of fresh air, you can’t. New manager will rudely tell you to go back to your room. You can’t crack your window or door to get fresh air. He will make you close them. Most of the rooms have mold in them. He won’t put in a request to have them taken care of. If your appliances go out, management will bring you a new broken one. The manager is never in the office during posted business hours. I’ve overheard multiple times the way he speaks to the housekeepers, and it’s completely inappropriate. Down right disgusting. My husband and I relocate often for our job, so we have been here for for quite some time. Unfortunately the new manager doesn’t understand that you can’t talk to guests the way he does. This is not a prison. It’s an extended stay hotel. Stay anywhere but here if you want your freedoms.

I am so grateful that my little family and we’re able to stay here until our home was ready. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Price and location were prefect for my budget and commute to work temporarily. I will suggest you get a little 30$ vacuum of your own. I am not a lazy person I prefer to clean my own surroundings. I also bought my own stove top so I didn’t have to use theirs for 20$ at Walmart. This was a great temporary stay for us.

So I feel the best way to list this review is to list out the pros and cons. I stayed here a little over a month with my husband before our place was ready. Pros *price *location Cons *mold *roaches *filthy *lazy housekeepers *they don’t vacuum we developed allergies that miraculously went away when we moved *no fans in the bathroom so more moisture creates mold *room stinks like cigarettes *we moved at a great time because they raised the prices it’s definitely not worth the new price *ac doesn’t work at all just blows stank air they will tell you it works though *deal bugs everywhere and they don’t vacuum them so don’t look under the bed

Living here was okay initially, if you can get over the industrial area and smog from local plants. Management was quiet and friendly until recently, they claim you cannot prop your door open or smoke in front of your room, they say you cannot have your window fully open and cannot have plants sitting outside to get sun in the morning, mind you this is an outdoor hotel, however they say you cannot have a chair in front of your room.

I was told to arrive by 7 on all the emails, the jerk at the front desk refused to check us in because he locks up at 6:30. Charge me a full night and refused to be helpful at all. Pitiful. Stay away.

I currently live at InTown Suites and have for 4 months and decided that a change was needed. The manager, James, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs by allowing us to move into a larger and newly upgraded room. The staff at the hotel are always helpful and full of character, making living here feel like home. My experience at InTown Suites Hotel has been nothing short of exceptional. The manager, James, displayed outstanding customer service by facilitating our move into a larger and upgraded room. His willingness to go the extra mile made the transition smooth and stress-free. The staff at the hotel are truly remarkable. They are always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, and their friendly demeanor adds a personal touch to the living experience. Their dedication to ensuring residents feel comfortable and at home is evident in every interaction. The newly upgraded room provided a refreshing change, and the additional space made a significant difference in our living arrangements. The attention to detail in the upgrades did not go unnoticed, and it further enhanced our overall satisfaction with the accommodations. Living at InTown Suites Hotel has been a delightful experience, largely due to the exceptional service provided by the manager, James, and the welcoming nature of the staff. Their efforts have truly made this place feel like a home away from home. Overall, I highly recommend InTown Suites Hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming extended stay accommodation. The attentive staff, led by manager James, ensures that residents’ needs are met with care and professionalism. Other staff members up thank are Josh and Ebony.

Don't book here. They will not respect your reservation. If somebody comes there before you with the money they will give your room away that simply. So if you're traveling, or from out of town. I suggest you look for a hotel that will respect your reservation and hold that reservation for you.

The two current managers are great and they are respectful and treated us well. The rooms are not great at all especially for the price. We had to move rooms a few times due to poor poor housekeeping, water leaks, mold, and roaches. The premium room was so tiny for almost $500 per week. We stayed at the same hotel in Greensboro, NC and the premium room was more than double the size at $409 per week. Just because it’s Florida doesn’t mean it should cost that much. The hotel is not near a beach or in a pretty area and has so many problems. The company should reevaluate its standards and send some corporate employees out to this property to actually stay in these rooms for a week undercover so that they can see the reality that their customers have to experience. But we are grateful to J and J for their hospitality during our stay. Thanks guys. Giselle P

Did not feel very comfortable or safe.A random person knocks on the door I look out the peep hole in the door who I don't know so I didn't open the door next thing I know they are opening the door just because my friend or I didn't answer.Of course I am not going to answer the door to a stranger.

Josh & Ms. Ebony lovely people. James is arrogant & rude. He doesn’t have respect for anyone, they need to get rid of him and the establishment would be much better.

If I could give a negative rating I would, not only do they not answer their phone at the front desk (which has very limited hours) but they hang up on you before you can even say anything. I even left a message the one time it went to a voice mail and no one has called back in 4 hours.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a semi long stay or long stay place. They are helpful and very nice. Occasional loud person and police activity. But for the most part it was good.

Low budget motel. although it may look shady I can say I've been delivering here for 17 years and it's always quite never any nonsense. I'd stay here if I was coming to Tampa on a budget.

DISGUSTING thats the review. ABSOLUTELY FILTHY AND HORRENDOUS A WASTE OF MY MONEY. The rooms smell like mold the eye of the stoves had caked up and burnet food inside them. There was an unidentified pill on the ground as soon as we walked in. There are ants all over the place, customer service of the lobby refuses to do anything. The shower is so dirty and disgusting it has someone’s dirty footprint in it and every wall in the shower is FILTHY. The counters look like they are falling apart and there is just stains all over. Someone in the office said that they “clean with bleach” well you may clean with bleach you sure didn't clean this room at all.

The traveling manager was so unbelievably rude and disrespectful. I complained about him so he kicked us out.

As a delivery driver this place isn't cool. Trees block the building numbers and the entrance and parking lot are full absolutely rough, full of pot holes and huge speed bumps

Absolute jerk manager. Decided to close 30 minutes early and cancel my reservation and when I called saying they don't close until later he said I should have checked in earlier and decided to close early. When I asked for a customer service line he hung up on me. Apparently I dodged a bullet because I've heard that location is covered in roaches. And there were people doing meth outside. However, I'm left with no money for a hotel money in my account because it takes 3-5 days for a refund on top of taking the first days room rent.

Let me start off by saying that when I called to book a room the guy in the front desk kept answering the phone unprofessional not greeting me nor asking me how can I help you today. In fact he answered the phone and continued to have his conversation with another co worker complaining about a customer, (CURSING THE WHOLE TIME) Another thing is that they never came to my room for housekeeping mind you I stay for 11 days now where’s the housekeeping at? I asked at the front desk numerous of times about my room being serviced and they kept telling me on Thursday or Friday you should get serviced. I checked out and I’m still waiting for the housekeeper SMH worst service ever. To top it off the toilet lid was broke the faucet from the bathroom was broken aswell and the bathrooom door wouldn’t close. I took pictures and videos just to keep as receipts. when I told the lady at the front desk she send someone to fix it mind you whoever cleaned that room didn’t report those damages to there manager? You would think so and have someone fix it before someone checks in.
