My brother and I did the Architectural bike tour and loved it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The service was top notch.

Such a great way to explore both sides of the St. Laurence! A full 4 hours covering 24km with plenty of stops to learn about the architecture and urban planning, or lack of planning, throughout Montreal. Mike was an awesome guide, quite knowledgeable about urban design. Come prepared for some exercise - a steady but leisurely pace makes the free half-pint of beer at the end a welcome refreshment.

Very friendly staff and smooth rental process. Great location. Staff was also quick to help when I had trouble with my bike in a different part of the city, they arrived within 30 minutes and swapped out the bike for me. Also provided a map with several recommended bike tours to see some of the sights. Highly recommend!

We did the tour. Really liked the amount of ground we covered and the niche neighborhoods we rode through. The guide was very nice, patient and had great stories to tell. I’d advise, to get the most out of the tour, to have at least a medium fitness level.

My wife and I loved this tour. Our guide Nicolas was amusing and knowledgeable. Even though we were sometimes touring in traffic the staff was always looking out for us and made us feel safe. I highly recommend this tour as you also get to keep the bike for the rest of the day.

Great bike rental on the water in Montréal. We rented e-bikes for the afternoon ( regular bikes also for rent ). Service was great. They have a great map of routes to take. We cycled along the canal to the water and back along the St Lawrence - and down the F1 race track back over quite a few turns and bridges to the city. Google maps ( download first on WiFi if needed) was a great help on this last stretch. Would highly recommend this company.

Mike you are amazing, so knowledgeable, so passionate, one of the best guides we’ve ever had 3 hours of things we would never have known, the fresh bagels were a super nice touch. The staff at this bike rental store were fantastic and couldn’t do enough, your electric bikes were sensational and to top it off a voucher for a beer next door was included in the price - excellent- excellent

I did not come for the visit but for a repair (broken spokes on my old racing bike) carried out live with great professionalism. Hats off to the young French mechanic, great work, fair prices, it’s a pleasure.

Very easy tour and great way to see the city. We got a bagel, plenty of water, a voucher for after-ride drinks and you can keep the bike for the rest of the day after your rental. Julian was an amazing guide. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended. Very friendly, and very helpful. Bikes worked well for the 3 day trip I booked in Montreal. Recommended for bike enthusiasts and adventurers

Good service, accommodating with time spent on the bike vs. billing grid

We loved our tour! Mike was amazing, Montreal's bike infrastructure was amazing, the bagel was amazing. I guess to sum it up, it was amazing! Getting that amazing St. Viateur bagel without waiting in line was honestly reason enough to do this ride! Do the morning tour so that you can keep the bikes in the afternoon. They'll supply you with maps and bike locks and you can explore the city that way! Can't recommend enough, just do it!

The team at Ca Roule is always friendly, no surprise there. They also tend to be faster and less expensive than I'm expecting. But then, there's the whole experience, where else can you drop the bike off for a fix and then wander over to Old Montreal for coffee or ice cream or perhaps a 5-a-7 nearby? This is probably the best bike repair experience you can get anywhere on the island. Treat yourself, you're worth it!

Amazing bike tours! First of all I'm a complete beginner but the guide made me feel 100% comfortable and gave a real lecture about Montreal history while seeing points of interest. Totally recommend it regardless of your bike skills! PS: if Sara, Jersey and Caroline from my tour are reading this please do reach out if you can! 🙂

A visit simply perfect, we were two adults and a 7 year old child, our guide Julie was perfect, a big thank you for this moment. See you soon

The person responsible for the paperwork to be completed must also take care of handing over the bikes, so long wait before starting... very decent bike, fortunately given the price..(I rented a car for 24 hours for the price of 8 hours biking !!).

Excellent Bike tour that my wife and I went on! Our tour guide was knowledgeable (spoke both english and french) and we got to see a good amount of Montreal in our 3 hour tour. They have options for regular bikes and ebikes if you are worried about lasting that long, but its really doable for anyone with the regular bikes, with 2-3 "major hill" sections. After this tour we felt like we had a good grasp on the city and would recommend anyone wanting to get a lay of the land do this as one of the first things they do

September 29, 2023 We chose the 3-hour guided electric bike tour. I had some apprehensions……Everything went really well 😀We had Julien as our guide and we recommend him 200%. We were a group of 8. Julien made the comments in English and French, always with a smile and attention to everyone. He is passionate about his city. Even if you are not the kings or queens of cycling, don't hesitate, electric bikes are very easy to use. No worries climbing the hills of Montreal 😅😅 Pascale and Hubert

My daughter and I really enjoyed our tour with Amelie our guide. We covered a lot of the inner city with great explanations of different areas. We felt safe at all times. So much more to see than walking. The ticketing and exit processes were really efficient. Felt that we were personally looked after. Loved the bagel and the drink at the end. Can’t recommend it more highly.

Julie was a wonderful guide, stopping often for photos and historical and commentary. Her tri-lingual ability made our group all inclusive and she kept the pace well. The tour was especially nice because we could keep the bikes and pick up a lock so we could tour more of the city and trails on our own. We opted for regular bikes and they were well fitted and maintained, comfortable and a terrific way to see Montreal. Thanks to Julie for recommendations of other places to see!

Edit: Needless to say, the owner's response is not what actually happened, it's his guide's version of events. The guide would say that, wouldn't he? The guide was unwilling to point out a pharmacy, we had to find one ourselves on Google maps, which unfortunately was shut on a weekday. We didn't hold up the tour for more than a few minutes and we (and other participants) were surprised at the guide's inflexible, grouchy and uncompassionate attitude. Make of it what you will! Review: We went on a guided ride with Ça Roule and kept the bikes for the rest of the day. The shop staff were very helpful, the bikes suitable for our needs and it was a great way to see Montreal. Our guide, Nicolas was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of the city but could do with working on his people skills. He became tetchy when I needed to find a pharmacy on the route (which would have taken a few minutes) and irritable when he thought the group weren't listening intently enough to his very detailed history lecture on a very hot day. Another ride participant was taken aback by this attitude, it wasn't just my perception. I'm sure other guides would be great and we still had an enjoyable day out, going to the Olympic Park in the afternoon with helpful route instructions from Ça Roule's owner.

We rented road bikes and it was amazing to get out and see the island in a new light. Guillaume was very helpful and gave us great bikes. Will do this again! Highly recommend this location and would love to do a tour next time with them!

My husband and I had a great time on this tour learning about Montreal's history! We got a yummy warm bagel about 2/3 of the way through as part of the tour which was also wonderful and kept our energy up. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun. You WILL be biking for most of the three hours (and up some hills) so be prepared to move, and bring extra water, especially if it's warm out (which I did). If you want to make it a little easier on yourself you can get an ebike. The only thing I wish we did differently was book an earlier time so we had the rest of the day to keep the bikes.

We had a fabulous time riding around the harbor and across to the beautiful islands and park. The pace was good. The group was small and our guide was great. Good exercise and fun. Do not hesitate to sign up. Highly recommend!

It was an excellent way to spend 3 hours sight seeing the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. She new a lot about Montreal and all it has to offer. She was very informative on local land marks and the history of Montreal.

Excellent tour. Mike, the guide I had, has an excellent knowledge of Montreal and it's history. His presentation style made the history very enjoyable. Other than some missing gears on the bike, it was in great condition.

I enjoyed a great four hour tour. The pace was comfortable and the information shared kept me engaged and wanting to learn more. The bicycle and helmet worked very well. The bike was very comfortable and easy to ride.

Simply, the best place in Montreal to learn how to ride a bicycle. My instructor was heaven sent. Finally, I rode a bike!

Very good place to get your bike repaired. I brought mine in for a repair, they did it within a couple of hours, and they even fixed another issue my bike had, without charging me for fixing the second issue. Good people, good service, good price. This will be my go to place for repairs in the future. Merci!

Rented 2 bikes for very reasonable rates for a couple of hours to Ile Notre-Dame where you can take a spin on the Formula 1 Grand Prix track and Ile Saint-Helene. Convenient location close to Old Port. If you book online, there's a 10% discount.

Did the 3 hour bike tour and it was amazing. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Montreal as you get great coverage of the city and learn a lot about the city while visiting a ton of key sights. The best way to see these are by bike as they're spread out across the city and doing the tour lets you see them all in one 3 hour time span so you can visit any that you'd like to see in more detail later on. Guides were super friendly and knowledgeable and we had a blast!

A great way to explore Montreal and observe some beautiful viewpoints. This was one of my favourite activities on my trip here. We had Rene as our guide and he was amazing. He shared quite a bit of interesting insight into the history of Montreal. Would definitely recommend the guided bike tour experience. (We chose e-bikes)

We have participated in both walking and cycling tours throughout the world. We know what we learn and understand about the city/town’s history, culture, politics, and sites is largely dependent on the tour guide. Mike, the the guide for our Montreal bike tour, was knowledgeable, animated, witty and full of smiles. He practiced solid safety road rules and showed a real caring for his group participants welfare and experience. Thank you Mike for helping us fall more deeply in love with Montreal!

It's not often these days that I experience excellence in customer service, but I was so impressed by Ca Roule Montreal. André Giroux and his crew were so amazingly helpful and accommodating, making our ride around Montreal spectacular in every way. They chose great bikes that fit us perfectly, gave us a brief rundown of the equipment, and efficiently processed us when we returned. Their whole process was fantastic - the location is perfect to hop on the bike path - and everyone provided flawless customer service. I am in no way affiliated with this business, just super impressed by how this business performs.

Very good ebikes, Juli was very committed, historically versed and responded to requests. I was going downhill a little too quickly and was constantly going through red lights... unfortunately I missed some of the explanations that were given to the drivers who had already arrived.
