7/30/21 waterfall off and blocked off Convenient location but just a giant litterbox if not for the waterfall. The sand is very gravelly and just reflects all the heat, plus absorbs all the pee, making the whole park smell pretty bad when the wind brings it toward you.

Poor drainage. These photos were taken a couple days after we had a light snow. The dogs pee and poop in the water and then play in it and even drink it. We can't go to the park on days like this without throwing our dog in the bath immediately afterward. The good thing about this park is that it's convenient for a lot of people. However, it could really benefit from better design. Besides the drainage, two other areas where it could improve include 1) the sand. The sand isn't pleasant and I think it prevents a lot of the park from being used, since people and dogs alike do not venture to the far end of the park often, and 2) lack of shade. I think this park could really benefit from additional shade during the summer. There really is no shade.

Not a bad dog park for one in the middle of a city but it's a really odd choice to make it entirely out of sand. It almost seems to encourage people to have their dogs treat it like a big litter box from what I saw while there. Also, the grass that would be there then can't absorb the nitrates from the urine to recycle it. Also, the lack of shade makes this somewhere I would only want to spend time on shady days or make sure to bring an umbrella or a good sun hat. With the white sand, surrounding building and lack of shade it's almost worse than being at an industrial Beach without the water to cool you down.

All the times that we've been here, the other dogs have been super friendly/ not aggressive. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is cause it's not super clean. There's a lot of poo in the play area, we only take Oliver there before he's due a bath. The fountain is open during the summer and our pup loves the water, just that he definitely needs a bath after.

The park is spacious, but owners need to do a better job at keeping an eye on their dog and cleaning up after them. Because the park is filled with gravel, it’s turned into a giant litter box. I’d be hesitant to bring your puppy here considering that it isn’t the cleanest and can lead to your dog getting a strain of kennel cough.

I take my Lab to this park twice day. The park opens early and closes late. Depending on the time and day it can be crowded or deserted. Both are fun for my dog. The park is quite large and has a course sand surface that is easy on the dog’s joints but unfortunately sticks to any ball.

Nice to have an off leash area for the pups to run around and play with other friendly pups and owners. I am not a big fan of the clay gravel base since it tends to stick to the toys and fur

Small to medium sized dog park. Several benches inside and outside the park with a park and grass area on the exterior. Inside the fence of the dog park are a few shade areas spread sparsely and a bench or two. There's an inactive fountain and some ledges to the side of the entrance. In the middle is a large sand field/pit for your dogs to run on. It's a great use of sand and is comfortable to walk on as well as easy to maintain.

Big area with lots of seating, including in the shade. No small dog side but all the big dogs were friendly. All gravel/sand.

My dog loved this park while we where visiting and when we came home a day later he got conjunctivitis because the sand got in his eyes. Be careful and watch your pup because this other dog at the park attacked another dog; and the owner didn't even say sorry to the dog owner. We left after that and we where a block away but we heard a lot of barking from the park. The park was great, but just be careful if your dog plays very roughly or is violent. Overall great park just watch your dog because they could get sand on their eyes
