I have been to Don Tito a number of times before, but stopped in on a Tuesday night for tacos and a margarita and was pleasantly surprised with the delicious tacos and exceptionally friendly service. All of my other experiences have generally been late night, so it's nice to know that this is a viable lunch spot or happy hour on my list. I believe happy hour goes from 4:00 to 7:00 which is an hour after most of its neighbors.

Honestly this place out to be really happening. We tried a bunch of items from the menu. My favorite were the fish and shrimp tacos. Nachos were pretty delicious too. The service is pretty quick and everyone’s really friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and would love to go back to try new items off the menu.

First I want to say this place is very cute! However, the food is honestly the food is below average. My dish looks like it would be tasty. The meat was bland, tough and chewy, the veggies were bland and tasted like oil…couldn’t eat any of the veggies and not much of the meat. As for the skewer, it’s not practical to have large pieces of meat that you have to take off skewer and cut to consume. The rice was very salty and means bland and watery. No one greeted at door, we didn’t know to sit ourselves or wait. Our waiter didn’t refresh our drinks or ask if things were ok. This place is pretty pricey, I expected a lot more. I wouldn’t go again, I felt like it was a waste of money. My party had alcoholic beverages and said they were good, that’s it.

Met up with friends at the upstairs bar for Taco Tuesday specials only to be ignored for 15 minutes after arriving. When the bartender finally asked what we wanted to order she didn’t know the menu well enough to answer our questions, and actually messed up our order multiple times. They took forever to bring any food out at all and when it finally got to the table, it was the wrong order and we were asked “if that was okay.” My tacos were sent to the wrong people so I had to wait even longer. We were charged for an additional taco we hadn’t ordered. I had high hopes for this place and it was just a mess. My advice? Don’t put someone out on the floor who “just started the other day” and isn’t ready to handle even a quiet Tuesday night with barely any people there. The only plus side, food/drinks were actually very good. If the service was better I’d consider coming back.

Don Tito, situated in the lively landscape of Arlington, Virginia, falls short of expectations, making it a less-than-ideal dining destination in various aspects. My recent experience at this establishment was marked by disappointments, from the high prices and lackluster flavors to the disruptive noise level, making it a place I would hesitate to recommend. The foremost consideration is the pricing at Don Tito, which leans towards the expensive side. Unfortunately, the elevated costs do not align with the culinary experience offered. While one may anticipate a higher price tag for quality, the flavors presented failed to justify the expense. This pricing structure may leave patrons feeling as though they did not receive commensurate value for their investment, impacting the overall satisfaction with the dining experience. Moreover, the taste of the dishes at Don Tito did not meet the expectations one might have for a dining establishment in Arlington. The flavors lacked the depth and vibrancy that are often associated with quality culinary offerings. This aspect significantly contributed to an underwhelming dining experience, leaving me with the impression that there was nothing special or memorable about the dishes. Noise levels at Don Tito further compounded the overall dissatisfaction. The atmosphere is characterized by a high volume of chatter, making it challenging to engage in conversation or enjoy a meal in a relaxed setting. The noisy ambiance detracts from the potential enjoyment of the dining experience, turning what could be a leisurely meal into a more disruptive affair. In conclusion, Don Tito in Arlington, VA, left much to be desired during my visit. The combination of high prices, lackluster flavors, and a noisy atmosphere creates an environment that falls short of providing a satisfying and memorable dining experience. Considering the myriad dining options available in Arlington, I would advise potential patrons to explore alternatives that offer better value, taste, and ambiance. Don Tito, unfortunately, fails to distinguish itself as a standout choice in the local dining scene.

If you are looking for good Mexican food, don’t come here. The food is flavorless however, it is affordable(I came for Happy Hour). The drinks were okay. It’s a nice vibe but maybe come here for drinks only and after you had dinner elsewhere.

We were suppoed to go to another venue, but with a mix-up in communication, we found out that place was closed. So we thankfully ended up at Don Tito's. We started out as a small group, which grew and grew. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were very good. Everyone had a wonderful time.

We came here for brunch on Sunday. This was my first time here. We had a table on the rooftop. The atmosphere and service was incredible. The food was delicious and of course the drinks were spot on. We did the mimosa tower. Definitely worth it and will for sure be back!

Drinks were good. A little on the bitter side but for $8 they were good and strong. We had tacos, wings, and queso dip. All good!

Randomly stopped by on a late Saturday night after attending an event in DC. Lively crowd, nice mix of music. I had the nachos with steak and they were DELICIOUS. Their late-night menu has alot of options. Not much service, scan the code and order at the bar, but the food was ready quickly. The frozen margaritas were great.

My experience is late afternoon after a hard day at work. Everyone is so friendly. The beer is cold, happy hour prices for drinks and food insanely inexpensive. A three level bar that I'm sure gets popping at night. Did I mention the folks are awesome!

It was my first time there for an outing with coworkers, and it was such a beautiful time. The service and the food were stellar. I recommend you stop by if you haven’t already!

While we did happen to go on a Sunday night, we had a very fun time. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet, while the drinks/chips were delicious!! A great spot for a chill Saturday or Friday night Happy hour / hang with pals, I reckon :)

Food was good, big portion and flavor. I didn’t like that they don’t use glass cups, only plastic cups so my mimosa lost the enchanted. My friends also didn’t like that all drinks where in plastic cups.

The only thing so far I had here is their house made nachos. I love it. The amount you get and the taste of it is amazing! So far this review but will review it again when I get a good dinner

My first time trying there food. I was craving Mexican food. I give a one star because the bar tender was nice enough to see about a sauce they had but never told me if they did or did not. This by far an insult to the Mexican culture. The food was nothing exciting. The pictures do look much better on their website. It was by far jerk chicken. Try bland chicken. I suggest marinating the meat to taste better. I see why people choose this place. To each their own but I don't drink alcoholic beverages. Most people who drink alcoholic beverages will eat anything.

I am new to this area and I must say that I had such a great time! Our bartender, DAISY, was amazing! Great drinks, and coming from someone in this industry, I paid attention to our service. Not only is she gorgeous, she had a great personality and literally made me want to come just for her! Thanks for a great welcoming! Toni!

I’m giving this place 3 stars because the ambiance is good, I didn’t go upstairs but I went on a Saturday night and I saw how many people were going up there! I’m not from VA so it looked fun! But the food …. Too Salty, just overall not too good. I enjoy tex mex but this was definitely missing something. I didn’t even go to whatever is upstairs but I’d recommend that over eating here.

Love this place. 4th time here in 2 months. The roof top is love! I recommend the Strawberry Frosè (Frozen Margarita). Sunday Parking sucks but once you find parking, the experience is worth it.

It was more or less empty and we had trouble getting drinks. It seems like a ton of old dudes now show up to hit on the young women, some have really bad manners. The bar tender was slow and had an attitude so he got 0 tip as reward.

Nice atmosphere. Rooftop is a lot of stairs to walk up. The EDM music was not really my vibe but the Birthday Girl had fun and that's all that matters.

Pretty nice rooftop bar. We found bits of tinfoil in the frozen marg (see pic) which is a little concerning. They have a nice rooftop bar but the crowd was pretty fratty. They also offer hookah on the rooftop. Food and drinks were decent but expensive. The two servers upstairs were attentive and friendly so I added another star for that. Fairly average bar.

Brian the bar manager was excellent. He worked to accommodate our dietary restrictions despite the menu. He was fun, energetic and a great bartender. Food and drink were good for a bar. But Brian made our night!

This place is okay depending what you’re looking for. If it’s for a fun night out with good music, this is your spot. If your looking for a daytime meal, it’s alright at best. You definitely feel the grime from the previous night which makes it less enjoyable.

Frozen peach Margarita with a salted Rim, tasty! Food was good! Service was lacking, but it was busy! Enjoyed our evening immensely!

The food was not authetic mexican, I ordered the Cubano. It tastes nothing like a Cubano sandwich, it is only called cubano cause it has the same type of bread 😹. Huevo Ranchero doesn’t have anything of Ranchero, It is not good does not have anything of Rancheros. NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALLL. Though the service was good and the atmosphere was very much Alcohol everywhere but it was nice.
