Nothing scenic here. 😩 There are signs all over stating SCENIC VIEWS. Still haven’t found it. Don’t stop. What a joke. 🤔

Living in NOVA for over 20 years, this remains my favorite place to drive. The "Second Overlook" part was just Googles selected location. I love the entire drive - even through rush hour traffic (and that's saying a LOT). As you drive down the parkway, you are surrounded by luscious green trees and djungle-like flora. Every so often there are "scenic overlooks" where you can stop and look at the beautiful area. The parkway is typically pretty full of traffic, but if you turn on some good tunes and enjoy the outside views, you will wish there were more.

The scenery is amazing!!

Peaceful despite the traffic. Muddy walk a few feet from parking to bluff, downtrodden chain link suggests the limits of safety without enforcing it. Reminiscent of older national and state parks, well constructed in the distant past. A view of somewhat unremarkable woodlands, gorge, and suburbs. Contemplative.

Awesome trail to the right side. Take water and bug spray.🙌 loved the hike and enjoyed some unique scenes.

Nice overlook on your way. I stopped by the 2nd one which is less than a mile from the 1st one. You can see a small pond and the green hills on the river bank. There is usually enough parking space for almost 20 cars. You might also be able to go down to the river.

Nice scenic overlook Potomac River and DC on the other side. Not a lot of parking but enough. Was incredibly beautiful during the fall with the different colors of the leaves.

Probably the best views in DC area.

Scenic & functional drive to and from DC, that needs a lot of maintenance and long-due infrastructure upgrade!

It's a beautiful scenery. There are a lot of pot holes that are very big. NO more patching the road with these swim hole. Bust my tires and cracked my rims. Had to hit both big pot holes in order to not cause an accident. REPAVE THE ROAD NO MORE PATCHING.
