We really enjoyed the hotel room, pool and the beach. The casino portion has changed and we rarely saw anyone winning. I never heard anyone hooting or hollering the entire time from a good win like at most other casinos. No major wins we're had. Very unusual for a casino. I've been to casinos all over the country and you usually get at least a little love back from the machines but, this place was sucking us dry, fast! The very rare jackpot wins are only around $12k and they use them for their advertising to lure you in. Everything is overpriced except the movie theater. At the restaurant, a Cuban sandwich is $15.99, a pork chop dinner is $44. A single scoop of thrifty ice cream was $4. Panda Express portions are smaller, we always have leftover at Panda but at this location we both finished our food. The security guy we talked with outside was very friendly and so we're the pool staff. If you want to relax by the pool or beach, this place is great. If you want to make some money, don't gamble here.

Stayed at the Avi for the first time. I've been coming to this area for over a year now. It's a nice place to stay at and visit. They have several places to dine in as well as a fast food court. That serves Subway Panda Express and pizza. What struck me as kind of neat but odd was that there's a play place for children back by the fast food court. The rooms were very nice. Well spaced for the area. Not much to look at when you look outside the windows. But the service was pretty good. I'd recommend staying here over staying in the other high-end hotels that are in town. I paid $65 for a night with two double queen beds.

Room were really nice but the TV was fuzzy. Hotel smells like smoke I the casino really bad clothes will smell like smoke after visiting the casino. Buffet prime rib was really good everything else was okay not worth $30. The beach was really really nice until non guest took over the beach then it got so busy we left. The pool was nice cause they only allow hotel guest to come. But for over $300 for 2 night I would have to say I will stay on the strip much cheaper and food selection is better.

I love staying here. I took my son with me this time, & we had ourselves such a real nice time. Our room was so clean, nice, & the beds were so comfortable. Everyone who works here is so genuinely kind. I'm definitely very pleased with the housekeeping department. They are so nice, plus they actually make sure that you are comfortable and well- tended to. I made sure I tipped them well, because they are the hardest workers there!

Pretty good during the winter, but I personally feel like this resort would be much better during the summer, since the beaches and pools would be nice. The rooms are newly remodeled, so they are overall pretty since and spacious. We did encounter some sediment in the water, due to major repair in their water system, however it quickly dissipated after we left it running. The Cafe and the food court is pretty good overall, altough I wish the buffet was open. Overall 4/5 ***Pretty good for the price!!!

Great getaway with the river out the door. It's a one-stop place. Fireworks, movies, big arcades, huge pools, the river, and gambling. Not to mention great places to eat. To top it off, it has a kids' quest where you can safely leave your child to play games and hang out while you have your fun

It is a small casino/resort but it was really nice to be able to stay there. I just wish there were non-smoking areas of the casino (like they do have non-smoking rooms). The staff were extremely accommodating which was wonderful. They have a movie theater so the family was able to watch WONKA!

I stayed here a while back (April) and have been meaning to leave this 5 star review. We really enjoyed our stay - it was part of our honeymoon all the way from New Zealand. The rooms were great - large enough, with comfy beds and a good view, whilst also being close to the casino area itself. Pool area was also fantastic. Bar staff were great and very knowledgeable about restaurants and activities in the area! Where the Avi really showed though was an issue we had - my wife and I had accidently left our Passports in our room safe, and travelled back to LA. I got in touch with the casino and was quite quickly passed on to Chase, the security manager. He not only successfully located the passports as soon as he was able to, but offered to fast post these back to us in LA the following morning! He was constantly providing updates and keeping us informed of what was happening - the communication was absolutely professional. I want to thank Chase specifically for being so excellent, and making our already great stay even more memorable.

We had a great time at the casino! Went with another couple, casino action was good, the crew in the (daytime) restaurant were so much fun!! I wish I could remember names, I think her name was Delores(?) our server was totally out to make sure we were happy with the food. The 3 ladies that were there were all super nice!!

Just off the 95, with plenty of parking for even the largest rig. The rooms are really nice, with spacious bathrooms, large TV and comfortable beds. The resort and casino amenities are amazing. With both family and 21+ Pools, a beach and multiple dining options there's nothing to want for. There's even a drop-in daycare (that's available from 6mo-12yrs) that is not only AFFORDABLE but amazing play/care. Not a gambler? Me neither, still had a great time at the arcade with my kid, enjoyed great food and had an enjoyable rest for a great price.

Updated rooms were spacious and clean. I could still smell cigarette smoke in our room even though we stayed in a non-smoking room. Facility was nice enough with a food court and movie theater. Outdoor pool and river front beach area was pretty. They were doing construction on an additional pool area. Located away from the busy strip of other casinos. Seems like a family friendly place. Would stay again.

Our favorite getaway! This casino has it all!! Great beach, pool, quiet rooms, and nice food choices to choose from. We also go to the movie theater. Just remember to buy your tickets early because you have to wait in the concession stand line to purchase movie tickets.

The hotel itself feel dated but minus the smoke smell is fairly clean. The rooms seem to be well kept and clean. The huge bonus for the place is the incredible pool area and its location on a more private part of the Colorado River, in comparison to Laughlin Resorts, and its beach access

The room was nice sized with a king bed that was really comfy. The bathroom had modern fixtures. We had the Sunday brunch at the buffet that was very good. It was better than some of the Vegas buffets. We arrived at 11:30 am and all the food entrees were fresh and appealing. Prime rib and shrimp was very good and I enjoyed my made to order omelet. The lemon meringue pie was the best I've ever had. The property has a nice beach on the river and a lovely pool area with a slide. It's off the between path but worth the ten or so extra miles to get to it.

I stayed here with my family last weekend. The room was nice updated and clean. The casino was very nice and also maintained. They also have an awesome pizza restaurant here. The beach is awesome and swimming pool was amazing. I would like to give a shout out to David Michael and Jake security guards for the swimming pool. You guys always made us laugh and keep a smile on our face and for that we will definitely see you guys next summer.

Second home. I pay the electric bill here probably 4 months out of the year, and I am responsible for the money it took to build the beach tower…. Thank me later. Great place they have, full casino hotel resort. Beautiful beach and pool, with all the amenities needed, don’t need to leave the property.

Just went to gamble. Usually a fun experience and a good time even if ya lose. Just need to get better or more servers. Never get the drink you order as it takes too long to get back to you.

Great place for the whole family. Lots of stuff to keep your kids busy and entertained. The only downside is there are so many rooms it literally feels like you're hiking to your room and speed walking to your activities. The location is remote but yet extremely beautiful.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The room was pretty basic, but it was clean. It would have been nice to have a microwave to go along with the mini fridge, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The pool(s) were awesome. I really like how they've got two distinct "zones" laid out, with the quieter/more "traditional" setup on the backside. We didn't check out the private beach, but it looked nice. The casino was way too smoke-filled for us to spend much time there. We're not huge gamblers anyway, so it wasn't the end of the world. But it was definitely very smoky. The location was decent, although the drive in definitely made me feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed our week stay and will almost definitely return.

Nice big resort but does needs some upgrateing. Comfortable beds, the AC didn't really cool the room down but is understandable since it was so hot in July. There are many places to eat and things to do inside. Nice pool area, I just don't like that they don't let you take anything in like water and snacks. Overall it was a nice experience.

Service was great. Check in was easy. Rooms were comfy and clean. Really only complaint is that being such a stand alone casino there weren't more mid week dining options. I do understand that is due to lack of customers they can't keep the buffet or more upscale restaurants open all week.

We had a great time for our family of 5. Two rooms very affordable and very accommodating. We spent plenty of time at the great pool and some time on the beach and in the river. We are just outside of the season, so weather is still great and rates are a bit down but some services are not available. Still, it is a fantastic property with plenty of options for things to do and eat. Kids loved the pool and arcade. I enjoyed the buffet and Feather Cafe, and especially the fireworks store and pad. My wife spent time and money in the casino. Great trip. We'll return.

The resort offers a great view of the river. Besides remodeled clean rooms, it also features a movie theater, good sized arcade, child care,a food court, cafe, bar, lounge, casino, fun pools with slides. There's also a golf course next door. The private beach is clean and well kept. Personally I think this part of the river looks better. I wish they offered a coffeemaker and microwave in the room.

We loved the Avi Resort & Casino. We stayed as a family of 4 and we had a great experience. Excellent customer service throughout the resort and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach and pools were fantastic. Our kids loved the pool area and waterside. We anticipated the hotel smelling like cigarettes based on other reviews, however, it was not nearly as bad as we expected. It was doable, and none of our clothes or hair had a lingering smoke smell. And unless you're hanging out right near the casino or in the lobby the entire time, you hardly smell cigarette smoke. The Brenden movie theater was nice. We took the kids to see a movie and they enjoyed it. The theater is a bit outdated so the seats are old and not like the new recliners that you see in the theaters these days. The seats are very dirty, as if they've never ever been washed, but otherwise if you have something to put down on the seat, it's no biggie. The arcade was super fun. All of the games were working and we had a good time in there. The rooms are clean and well kept. We asked for more towels as soon as we got there since there weren't enough for a family of 4, and they quickly brought up a large stack of assorted towels, more than we even needed! Great service. The beds were comfy and clean. I am a bit obsessive and check all furniture thoroughly for any sign of pests. I didn't see anything at all and it was pretty clean. None of the rooms have microwaves so that was a huge bummer. Whether you're bringing your own food or buying from the food court and wanting to reheat something, it's just not an option sadly. The TV also only has about 30 satellite channels, no cable, and no smart TV option so you can't log into any streaming platforms. If watching movies at night is a thing for you, bring a laptop! All in all it was a great stay and we would stay at Avi again.

We stay at Avi when we visit Bullhead City. We like it because it's parking is close to the building. The rooms are pretty standard. No frills, but very clean. Ibwish they had refrigerators in the rooms. My husband is a diabetic and his insulin has to be refrigerated. Avi is far from Casino row. It has everything you need. Good food options, a play area for the kids, a movie theater, a great swimming pool and a pretty beach! The prices are sometimes a bit high, so we wait until the prices are more reasonable. We really like Avi. It is our favorite place to stay! You won't be disappointed. Give them a try. I think you will like the feeling of seclusion when you are there. It's fun and it is helping the Tribe. Have fun on your next stay at Avi!

When I entered the hotel the first thing I smelled were cigarettes which was horrible! The rooms were great and were really nice but the smell of cigarettes where bad for kids and such. The pool they should clean it more often as well! The food court was good until I saw a lot of flies around the room and on the food, kitchens! The arcade was very fun and the theater is great! They should also change the carpet and remodel the place a little because it’s very old and it has a lot of stains! The service was great everything was good :)

I wish I had a good experience here, as I think it could be a good place to be with the river beach, pool, nice room, and other amenities and things to do, but my check in experience was in probably the worst I've ever had. I booked our room 4 months ago and chose this hotel specifically for the pool and amenities. I have 2 younger kids who love to swim. We got in later, around 8 pm, and I just happened to check their website during our travels to look for pool hours and saw that the pool was closed for renovations until May. At check in, I asked about the pool, and she confirmed it was closed. I informed her that it was never listed on their website when I booked 4 months ago, and I never received an email or update stating it was closed. I asked if there was anything else they could do for us as that was the main reason we chose this location. She looked very annoyed and asked the manager next to her to come over. I explained the same thing to her, not trying to be rude or anything, but just saying that it's pretty disappointing we didn't know about it. She said it's been listed on their website for months, but it for sure was not when I booked it. She said she wasn't going to do anything but said that maybe we should stay somewhere else then. I really wasn't asking for a free room or a large discount or anything, but thought that some type of gesture would have been fine. We were paying full price for not getting what we expected. I understand things need to get fixed, and it looks like their new pool will be very nice, but her immediate response to tell me I should maybe go somewhere else was shocking. I was ready to leave, but we were exhausted and just needed to sleep. We ended up staying just because it was too much of a hassle to move all our stuff again for another night, but we spent zero dollars anywhere on the property and went elsewhere for food and entertainment. Again, nice room, nice beach, pool looks like it will be nice, but could not come back in the future due to staff and management. Also, similar to all other casinos in the area, it is very smoky still in the casino, just an FYI. The room did not smell like smoke.

Our experience is not good with them . We booked a reptile convention with them a few months ago for nov. 11th. everything started off great Mayra was awesome and helpful. Now we get into the end of September with a sold out show and we go down to do final floor plans for the show , a new lady we haven't met or talked to is there and everything seems fine , she is acting helpful boy were we wrong . This woman got our show shut down weeks before a sold out show and made it where we are now scrambling to find a new venue . We've had to go to all of our high profile sponsors and promoters and hope this doesn't completely destroy our reputation and show. Very disappointed .

The Front Desk Staff was very helpful and accommodating when we arrived 3 hours early of the 4:00 pm check-in time. We were even asked if we wanted the top floor, which we did; insanely view of the surroundings. The only reason our rating was not a 5-star was because of the well water. I think a water filtration will be appropriate which will get more guests to return.

Everyone and I mean every employee that work there was friendly outgoing and helpful. Waitresses walk around quite often seeing if anybody needs cocktails, or whatever you need to drink. The coffee shop is excellent opens very early 5 or 6 a.m. through restaurant food is delicious friendly service all the way around above expectations of a casino

I'm rating the movie theater. Seats were comfy enough. Service was so so. Tickets are reasonable, but the concession is a joke. Paid almost $5 ($4.85 after tax) for 19 tater tots. That's $0.25 per tot. Ketchup is $.50 and ranch is $1. Seems a bit steep and ridiculous.

Amazing pool with two water slides. Big hot tub. Separate adult pool. Kids quest is so great for your kids and staff there are great. Good food options. Right on the river with nice beach. You get so many great amenities for such a cheap price.

Had trouble figuring out where the bedside lamps here in the room. But was able to by the last night. Also there was a hole in the wall and some wires were sticking out randomly. So whatever project that was never got finished. The remote to the TV in our room wasn't functioning properly and I had to ask for new batteries. There are no microwaves or Keurigs in the bedrooms either. And that's why they give you a coupon for a free coffee with your room keys. They use some plastic wristbands that you have to change on Tuesdays to be able to access the pool. On the 3rd floor in which we were staying at they had a fan on the floor. I suppose they might have just washed the carpet but the smell was still there. Also in the hallways there's no direction on where the vending machines/ice machine were located so I discovered it at the end of the hallway in the very far back end. The pool was great though and was able to enjoy myself there and sitting under the foundation/rainfall in the pool.

This is our new favorite resort and casino. The reviews don't do it justice. It's really a hidden gem. Perfect pit-stop. Very family friendly. Newly remodeled rooms. Full sized movie theatre, arcade and childcare. Our kids didn't want to leave the childcare. Incredible view of the river, sand beach and beautiful pools with water slides. Slight smoking smell in Casino but very mild compared to Vegas casino smoke. They even decorated for Christmas with trees at entrance and in theatre.

Remember to use Hα΄α΄›α΄‡ΚŸΚ™oʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. They compare hundreds of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. Our favorite getaway! This casino has it all!! Great beach, pool, quiet rooms, and nice food choices to choose from. We also go to the movie theater. Just remember to buy your tickets early because you have to wait in the concession stand line to purchase movie tickets.

The staff is amazingly friendly. The layout makes it easy to get right into the action AND...... On site they have a place to not only purchase fireworks.... They have a designated area where you can launch whatever you purchase!!! Trust me they type of fireworks are INSANE and worth the trip the resort just to let a few of then off.

First time here. I am going to rate this spot a little different than I usually do. They do try to accommodate all needs. place is a little dated. I would say half empty half full way of looking at it, We did not let little things bother us, example, ice machine not working etc.. know let say my experience with our granddaughter with us here was priceless, she had lots of fun in the pool and on river, nice room had no big issues and the little ones are not worth mentioning at all.

We chose Avi as we are traveling with kids. It's a casino, so higher restaurant prices was expected. But the kids wanted to go to the game room as they had their own money. Each had $20. Games were $1 - $2.50 with most at $1.50 or $2.00. No tickets earned. Ripping off children is the lowest of low.

When I run the Mojave road this is where I stop after a long off road trip. The rooms are a great price, their buffet is really well done, and they have a great bar. Rooms are clean, staff is nice, and the price is right. Best part is they have an amazing pool and Jacuzzi.

The room was nice but the hotel needs a refurbishment It does have a movie theater and Arcade for kids. My only complaint is that it needs a touch up. I do like that at this hotel you can use a pop up on the ⛱️ beach other hotels don't allow it. But it's family friendly which was nice it wasn't a party hotel. Overall I had a nice time and great view from the room. I would recommend πŸ‘Œ this hotel.

Casino area is worn-out. Small non machine gambling area with limited hours. Food is ok, but once again limited hours. The Steakhouse and the golf course next door are very good. Access for boating on the river is excellent. Rooms are fine.

The place was decent, but our rooms were disgusting! Our first room had a mouse or something!!! My kids were sleeping when my husband and I heard something from our snack bucket that we brought. We turned on our flashlights from our phones, and we looked for it. Right when I moved the bucket, that thing ran so fast and left a piece of cracker behind!! We filed a complaint the next day and they moved us to a suite room. We didn't see any mouse, but my youngest son found a dead cricket! Overall, we had a well-balanced trip! My kids loved the kids' quest and arcade.

It is vary rare to find a place that's clean with a good view and affordable.. I stayed on the 6th floor with a river view would recommend.. they were renovating the pool during the winter as you would find with most Vegas casinos I look forward to coming back in the summer and trying it out.. extremely kid friendly. Movie theater and plenty of places to eat.

Unfortunately this was my first time staying here. Walking in to my room, I thought it was beautiful and spacious, as well as updated appliances and furniture. As I was pulling the blankets down, I noticed stains all over the sheets and the blankets, the brown blankets had white splatters and the sheets had sweat or pee stains, which ever one. I immediately called the maid and had them come and change both beds, as I noticed the same situation on the second bed. Absolutely disgusting. Thank God I noticed before me and my 2 year old decided to get into the bed. I also turned on the lights which are located on the headboard of the bed and noticed all the dust and cobwebs. Needless to say, I'm not sure if I'll be coming back. They handled it very unprofessional. The maids are not doing there jobs correctly or a certain maid for that matter, That makes for a very bad experience and loss of business. I will be posting pictures as well.

Stayed in the RV park, which was fine. We got there at 4, and they were gone, so we had to deal with security. Guest services were impossible to get a hold on the phone. We went over to use the pool, it was nice but packed. Service took for ever for food and drinks. They only had 1 bartender and the line was always 30+ minutes.

We have been coming to the AVI for over 20 years. We came for a much anticipated Sunday brunch as it is an enjoyable day to have mimosas and a leisurely brunch concluding with a fun gambling time. This is our first time back since 2020 and and that time there were crab legs served with Sunday brunch. Today the price is $36.99 a person for Sunday brunch with no crab legs πŸ˜₯ However, the food is fresh the champagne is flowing and you can still have meat carved and omelets made at your request with lots of attention from staff. Come back and support the Avi ⛱️
