Came here yesterday with my friends from London and had such a great time for lunch. As always, the food is excellent, the staff is super nice and friendly, and I got to play some Elvis Presley on the piano. I love their espresso so much. The lasagna lunch for $15 was such a good deal. Comes with bread, their famous sauce, and house salad. Definitely brining more friends here again. My number one choice in Las Vegas. Thanks so much! Happy Holidays! Michael

Best Manicotti I've had. Hubby ordered Fettuccine Alfredo and added 2 prawns. Prawns were $6 a piece so $12 total and were the size of large size shrimp. Ome was much smaller than the other. Expensive for such small size. Cheese sticks were cold and stale. Would come back to try other food.

Food - everything was amazing. It's like you feel the love and time they put in it. Calamari was a little too salty. Creme brulee was perfect. Fried ravioli is the best. Service - quick and efficient. Reservation at 6.30: called not later than. Our server was also very nice and shared some of the history behind the place. Entertainment- free show to eat here?? Count us in!!! Wonderful voice on that Friday night. Atmosphere - Busy, but filled with families and people enjoying the place, the company, and the food. Notes: Try it all!

What a fabulous dinner! A gem of a restaurant in Vegas. They had gluten free options labeled on their menu and were also very gracious about accommodating gluten-free variations on some other items on the menu. The creamy Veal Loraine, Scampi with Linguini (fresh prawns in a white wine sauce and house-made Maria’s herb butter, the Salmon, and a straight-forward pasta with marinara were all incredible dishes! Such attentive and gracious service within a cozy yet elegant, old-school Italian atmosphere. Loved it!

This place is massive. Even still, when we tried to walk-in there was an hour wait. Definitely make a reservation! Food was really good. Service was good. Portions were hearty. They do have live music some nights, but they also have multiple rooms / buildings, so you will need to specify if you want to have a say in the entertainment experience.

We absolutely loved this place! Our hotel recommended and we’re glad that we gave it a try. The courtesy bread that is given are tiny bread rolls covered in olive oil and sprinkled with Parmesan, which also comes with marinara sauce. Super delicious and we had to decline the option for more bread as we were bracing ourselves for the food to come. We ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, the Italian sub, the calamari, and the lasagna. We had zero left overs! The fettuccine is one of the best I ever had. Super creamy and good ratio of chicken. Calamari was just the way we like it, lightly breaded and fried perfectly. Italian sun was perfect as is! We went for lunch but check out their live shows. Wish we could have had more time to enjoy of of their shows. The food is definitely authentic and the service is excellent. Highly recommend to check out this place when in Vegas.

Tonight my son took me out for my birthday to Bootlegger. The entire experience was very disappointing. The hostess couldn't be bothered to say hello or demonstrate any friendliness. After asking our name she told us "up the ramp". As we have never been here, we were unfamiliar with the ramp. The bread bits are decent. Our fried ravioli was bland. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo is average at best. The chicken is good but the Alfredo has little character. The real fail was the egg noodle bolognese. It was beyond salty. The meat was so over salted it's unedible. After a few bites to make sure it wasn't in one area, I had to quit eating. If the waiter had returned to ask how we were doing, we could have updated him. Dishes can be fixed or re-served. Instead, 10 minutes in to our meal, a busser comes over and asks if we need boxes. We tell him no. Most of our dishes remain uneaten. Under normal circumstances this might be a red flag. Apparently not here. I asked the waiter why he never returned to ask how we were doing, he told us we too quickly ended our meal. A minute later we get our check for $80 and my son paid and left a tip. My son and I are now looking to end our night on a positive note. We had hoped to do it at the Bootlegger where we had hoped to try the cheesecake. Very disappointing experience.

As a European, I can confirm that this food is incredibly good 👍🏻 We live next to Italy and therefore spend a lot of time there (during the weekend or visiting friends). I enjoyed the location, service and food. This was in my top 5 Italian dishes that I have eaten so far. Thank you and great work :)

Bootlegger is so delicious. Family owned for almost 75 years. Amazing family history, and I am going to say that they had an impact on Las Vegas' beginnings. I definitely recommend 👌 if you want to step into history and enjoy delicious food.

Fantastic place with a great atmosphere. Definitely worth the wait, highly suggest a reservation if you plan on visiting. Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had and such a friendly staff. Portion sizes are on the larger side, despite that it was so good everything was devoured.

They have live entertainment. Our waiter, Josh's timing was spot on and knowledgeable about the menu. Warning, even though the bread bites are delicious, but don't over indulgence, leave room for the rest of the meal. Leave room for the cannoli.

Outstanding service as always upon visiting this charming restaurant. We were treated as celebrities tending to our every need, from keeping our water glasses full and ensuring our food was to our liking. Thank you, Charlie, for your outstanding service. My husband had the Pappardelle Bollognese, pasta cooked perfectly and packed full of flavor. I ordered the Spinach Fettuccine. The pasta was perfectly cooked, with the veggies slightly a little more aldente than I prefer, yet still delicious in flavor. I ordered my favorite decadent in-house Tiramisu dessert and my husband, the chocolate Gelato. Both were richly satisfying! This establishment is unmistakably a favorite of many locals and tourists alike. Make reservations, and if you're fortunate enough to be their for the musicians, you won't be disappointed.

Wow! This Italian bistro was extremely good. Service was very quick and enjoyed the ambience and Christmas decor. Ordered lasagna after some appetizers and it was out of this world. If you’re interested in a good Italian restaurant this is your stop.

Everything was perfect. The waiters were so nice and got me all the things I needed! The entire meal - from antipasto to desert - was exquisite. I think I had the best calamari and lasagna I’ve ever had! For desert, I ordered their chocolate cake, and it was amazingly rich and moist. The entertainment was great, too. The man playing the grand piano was very talented, and even accepted personal requests for songs & shoutouts to different parties. In conclusion; the food is exquisite, the staff are extremely attentive. To top it off is the price of my meal. It’s not cheap (>$100) but its certainly worth it; you get what you pay for! I loved this place, and If I ever travel to Las Vegas again, visiting the Bootlegger Bistro will be a guaranteed experience.

In A Nutshell: -The Bootlegger Italian Bistro was highly recommended by some local friends. -After finally being able to grab a meal here, we walked out feeling like the food was just okay. -The Frutti di Mare honestly was disappointing. -The noodles were not al dente, the sauce was very watery. -The clams & mussels you can tell were fresh, but the rest of the seafood was probably frozen & tossed in. -The bread looked great, but it was pretty hard. -The marinara sauce that comes w/ the bread is very good though, wish I had that sauce in the Fruitti di Mare. -The Chicken Marsala turned out pretty good, so I would suggest that dish. Overall, after reading all the reviews about this place & this experience I don't think it's worthwhile for a return trip.

Las Vegas foodies rejoice with this fantastic italian gem! Located on South Las Vegas Blvd, this place offers amazing italian cocktails, full bar with ice cold draft beers on tap, and awesome piano bar entertainment nightly. In town for business, I brought my team here for dinner and drinks. The ambiance here is laid back and lit dimly. For dinner, I dined on the Classic Spaghetti with meatballs. These dishes served here are old school recipes. Let me tell...this place does not skimp on portions...it is a good portion you are served. An uber driver recommended this to me on my way to the hotel and I gotta hand it to him...he was spot on with this locale! Check em out!

We came here first the first time on April 4th for a family event. The food was good, but not as Italian as it should be. The chicken alfredo was good but should have had more creamy alfredo sauce. The lasagna was barely ok. The garlic knots were good, but we should have been given more of them and more of the other foods as well. All dishes should have had more garlic. The service was pretty good.

This is the 2nd time I've been here, and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! I got the chicken Alfredo and it was amazing. I asked the server to recommend a sweet wine, and the wine he suggested was great! We came for our anniversary and they gave us a plate with canolis and happy anniversary written in chocolate. Atmosphere is great with older music playing big band type stuff. They do have live music at nights but I have never been there for it.

Bootlegger is always a must when I’m in town. I have never been disappointed and recommend it constantly to everyone I know is going to be visiting Vegas. Word to the wise, make a reservation. Although the restaurant is large, it’s always packed. Let’s start with their delicious martinis - always my go to as a starter drink. I’ve had the blood Orange and the Classico and they’re both tasty and strong. My favorite part of the meal is after you order your food they bring out the panetti and yummy red meat dipping sauce. No appetizer necessary, these little delicious squares of bread are all you need. This last time we had the penne, pappardelle bolognese, and the baked penne. All very good size portions and very flavorful. The sauce on the pappardelle is creamy and slightly salty, so be careful of adding any additional Parmesan. I wish I remembered our lovely servers name, but as usual our service was on point. Can’t wait to come again.

First time ordering here and did take out. We were a little let down, as the reviews are so good. Both desserts were a little pricey for what you get. The chocolate cake wasn’t bad, but not for $12. It looks bigger than what it is in the pic. My husband and wasn’t impressed with the cannolis, said it didn’t even taste like they used ricotta cheese in the filling. The meatballs were dense and tasted like they came from a frozen dinner meal. Sauce with the meatballs was petty good. $35 for this is way too much.

I loved this place. The ambiance was classy and elegant. A gentleman playing live on a grand piano set a perfect mood. The staff was absolutely excellent and attentive as well. Never letting my glass of wine to get too shallow and we know how important that is! The food came out quickly and the presentation was very nice. The Bootlegger is a must try. This was a beautiful experience with very reasonable cost. In fact, the check for two dishes and a $60 bottle of wine was only $110. I will definitely return.

Rich in tradition and full of flavor, this Italian restaurant is owned and operated by the daughter of the original owner, whose photo is a decorating the walls. I got the spaghetti with meatballs and it was by far the best spaghetti I’ve ever had. The meatballs are handmade and a recipe of Maria. This place is top notch.

Finally had the chance to dine at The Bootlegger Italian Bistro in Las Vegas. This place has a rich history that dates back to the early 1900s, when the grandparents of Chef Maria Perry migrated from Italy to Canada and became known as "The Bootlegger" for serving homemade wine during the prohibition era. Chef Maria and her husband Al Perry moved to Las Vegas in 1943 and opened their first restaurant in 1949, serving the legends of Hollywood and Las Vegas such as Howard Hughes, Frank Sinatra, Liberace, Elvis Presley and many others. Their daughter Lorraine, a singer and entertainer, joined them in 1972 to build The Bootlegger on her land at Tropicana and Eastern. Today, four generations of this dedicated Italian family continue the legacy of providing the finest food, drink, hospitality and entertainment to their guests. The service was impeccable. Our server was smooooth, absolutely loved him he was friendly, attentive and witty. He recommended some of the best dishes on the menu, such as the Burrata. He also brought us some of the panetti italiana (garlic bread) with dipping sauce, so delicious. He made sure that our drinks were always refilled and that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and satisfying. For dessert, we had the chocolate cake which was heavenly. The Bootlegger Italian Bistro is a historic Las Vegas landmark that offers a great dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, with photos of celebrities and memorabilia on the walls. The live music is entertaining and lively. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine and wants to enjoy a taste of old Vegas.

What a fabulous find!!! OMG this place is amazing. It's such a beautiful restaurant also.. and it's huge. They have live music almost every night (check the website out) starting around 630pm. We had an early dinner and the server was amazing, out of this world. He was perfect! We had dirty martini's they were amazing, and a glass of Malbec, also great. They do serve bread and it was so good. It's like small pieces of garlic bread (soft and warm) served with their homemade marinara that you can purchase. We also had calamari and it was so tender, perfectly fried, some of the best I've ever had. My husband had some type of chicken with mushrooms and a side of fettucine alfredo. I had carbonara with chicken. The chicken on both dishes were cooked to perfection. I mean grilled perfectly.. not overcooked which most places seem to do nowadays. It was so juicy, so tender, and so flavorful. I cook chicken a LOT so I have high standards. They gave you so much sauce w/ the pasta which is something I love... I hate how these upscale restaurants give you tiny portions no sauce and the price is 3x higher than here.. so I will give this place a LOT of my business especially when all of our friends/family visit. I mean everything was just perfect. I cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu. And this place has been around forever, and now I know why!!

We are here in Las Vegas to celebrate our 26th anniversary. Spent the day at the Grand Canyon and we were headed back to our hotel. We were hungry and tired, but wanted to have an anniversary dinner. I noticed the Bootlegger as we passed it on our way back to the strip. We turned around and went in and we were glad we did. We were told it would be a 2-2.5 hr wait for a regular table…but they got us into a high top in the bar in under 30 min. Our waitress was sweet as could be, and very helpful. We opted not to order an appetizer even though they all sounded delicious! The little garlic balls and sauce that came out before our entrees were little balls of heaven. I had the chicken parm and angel hair. It was perfect. My husband had linguine alla vongole (linguine with clams in a white sauce). He said it was amazing. For dessert we ordered cannolis(you get 2) and they were delicious! If you’re looking for great food just a few short minutes from the strip, give them a try. Highly recommend!

First time creating here and already plan on returning. Parking is plenty. The buildingvis beautiful. You are greeted by friendly host and hostesses. If you make reservations, you are seated quickly. The ambiance is somewhat romantic but also suitable for a business meeting. Starting with a super selection of martinis and mixed drinks ir beer. Lots to choose from. Food is priced well and not over-the-top. Have many Italian dishes to choose from, fresh fish, other seafood varieties, and appetizers plenty. Save room for desserts as they have a great selection of baked desserts and drinkable desserts. Definitely make time to visit The Bootlegger Italian restaurant. You will be happy I recommended it!

Great evening having dinner with family. This restaurant speaks what Las Vegas once was with service and atmosphere. The live piano and harp musician was amazing. All dishes served were delicious and the cannolis and coffee for dessert rounded out meal perfectly

If you go to Las Vegas you better make it a priority to treat yourself to this restaurant. Our Uber driver said he would pay for our scraps it's so good and we laughed about it but seriously... IT IS THAT GOOD! The service was wonderful as well and very helpful, caring, and had great humor! I will forever remember this place as having the best chicken alfredo I've very had in my life! The pizza was also another level of goodness!

I came here with my significant other for a nice early supper. The portions are plentiful, the food is enjoyable, the atmosphere is a bit situational. I noticed there are a lot of tables in their dining room and they are spaced fairly close together. We had a booth but it did not create the atmosphere of a date because it was very open to the dining room and the sound from other tables was not isolated. There's nothing wrong with this just don't expect a romantic date-like atmosphere; it's more of a family restaurant style (Italian!). I had the Scallopine di Vitello Piccata Style - loved it! The tangy lemon sauce with the eccentric capers peppered on top of perfectly cooked veal was enough to make a grown man cry after a full day's travel with no lunch. She got the salmon. The salmon, likely farm raised, was delicious along with the sautéed greens. I tried the whole grain spaghetti. It was whole grain spaghetti. I'm not really a pasta guy so I'll leave the pasta ratings to someone else. You do get some bread squares, oiled with herbs, complimentary. I'm torn about this really. Because you're going to get oil on your fingers if you eat it by hand and it's kinda awkward to eat with a fork. I'd recommend offering the bread plain and having the oil in a separate container or saucer for dipping just like the maranara sauce that comes with it. The water is really good; top notch. The waiters and waitresses were very observant and well positioned for assisting customers. They seemed to be aware of who had which customer and would notify them if the customer seemed to need something. The place seems like a very organized, well-oiled machine.

Came here for my husbands birthday we really enjoyed coming here. The only bad part was we were next to the bar and some people were being overly loud but besides that our experience was okay food was amazing the waitress was kind. I had a steak it was amazing the flavor of everything was just so divine.

The ambience of The Bootlegger is amazing! Very fine dining type of feel inside. It gives you that Italian classic feeling when you're eating inside. The food quality is very good, you can have them also customize some Italian dishes like salmon scallopini! Service is good. The tiramisu needs more flavor though and the coffee is a bit light.... Be hungry when you come!

We loved our dinner and were able to get a last minute reservation on a Friday night at 7pm. We didn't get to sit in the room with live music but it all worked out. Their table garlic bread was delicious! I had the Bolognese and everyone else loved the Spaghetti and Meatballs.

We recently had the pleasure of dining here at Bootleggers just this week. It was referred to us by a local, which I knew was already promising. Located not far from the strip, Bootleggers captures the spirit of traditional Italian cuisine and family hospitality. From the moment we stepped inside, we were struck with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's evident that this restaurant is owned by a family that has passion for what they do. Photos of the them lined the walls – it was so fun to look at them all and read about how the restaurant originated. Apparently, there is also live entertainment here too, but we unfortunately missed it. The impressive menu left me stumped on what to order – it all looked SO good. We ended up getting the Osso Bucco & the Seafood Fra Diavolo. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our meal. If you're in Las Vegas and seeking an authentic Italian dining experience, I highly recommend visiting. Prepare to be swept away on a journey through Italy, where each bite tells a story of love, tradition, and unforgettable flavors!

The food was amazing. Our server was extremely professional and really great. The cheese stick and the calamari was cooked perfectly. The chicken Parm was cooked really well and the marinara was sour and savory. The desert had a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The chocolate lava was amazing. Overall, really amazing restaurant.

Great place if you like Italian food, and atmosphere. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. The bread and dipping marinara is on point, almost dangerous. The lasagna was great as well as the baked ziti, and salads. It's a bit out of town, but a place to hit off the south part of the strip. Oh did I mention the love band... Like a romantic Italian scene.
