I had higher hopes for Blackhorse. Disappointed they didn’t have any ciders and have a limited tap selection. Service was okay server was not very attentive. The Coca Cola tasted extremely weird, then exchanged for a sweet tea and the tea was barely sweetened. We started with fried green tomatoes - THEY WERE EXCELLENT! Not a fan of anything else we ordered. Would not ever order the Cajun pasta again. We ordered sweet potato fries and never received them.

I've been here before their reopening and like many others were sad was to see them close due to the fire as well as anxiously awaiting their reopening. Their grand reopening happened to occur on my birthday so I just had I celebrate both of our days there! Excellent food, Excellent service, and of course Excellent beer! You can't go wrong with the old pub atmosphere either! I definitely recommend stopping by, grabbing a cold one and at least ordering their famous beer cheese if not going all in and getting one of their delicious pizzas!

Not a typical pub. All the food was great, better than expected. The setting is an older pub that has been restored. Fast friendly service with good drinks. Great spot for a dinner with friends.

Came for the first time in a long while and was so happy to try the beer cheese dip. I was bummed to see that Nutella French toast was discontinued from the brunch menu, but was pleased by a very decent Chicken & Waffles. I also enjoyed my drink.

Good was excellent, had to be some of the best Pork chops I've ever had from a restaurant. The cheese board is a must!! The other parties meals were just as good. Definitely plan to return.

Meagan made our experience absolutely perfect, from her friendly, knowledgeable service, to the promptly delivered beers and food. Obsessed with the Black&Tan, Vanilla Cream Ale, Pale Ale, and Mexican Lager. Can't wait to go back!

As always, the food here is amazing, I have been eating here for 6 years now and it's still my favorite place. The drinks The food The atmosphere All are amazing. One thing I love is that when you order something, so much care and detail is put into every element. For example, if you order chicken nachos, the cheese is seasoned, the chicken is seasoned, and they make sure to add cheese on layers instead of just the top. By far the best fried green tomatoes in town!! The beer cheese is delicious as well. Chipotle ranch The blonde and vanilla beers. I mean I can go on forever...just go

Everyone we spoke with told us to come here. The first time, it was okay. The brussel sprouts were the highlight. Not super impressed. We decided to give it a second chance. The second time we went was a Friday night. Very busy at 8. Waited about 30 minutes for a table. Ordered cheese fries. They were pretty soggy under the cheese and bacon. I ordered a burger, the Steakhouse. It was okay. My onion rings were absolutely over cooked. Daughter stated that her pretzel tasted like cardboard. Honestly, it kinda did. The beer cheese dip was good though. Not going to be a place we recommend or bring people to when they visit. It was packed though, so just not sure what we are missing. The atmosphere is neat...old school pup with a modern feel. So, there is that.

Food was great, staff was friendly, drinks were good. Slightly higher prices but all the food was cooked perfectly and had good portions, the Chicken Nachos appetizer was good and so was the brownie dessert. My girlfriend tried the chicken sliders and loved them, I had the Pasta entree and it was definitely worth the price.

Atmospheres pretty cool, the food was amazing. Looks to be geared toward the college crowd at night, but we are for lunch after lunch early in the afternoon. it was pretty slow, Post lunch, which I love. our server Arial J rock the house on point very prompt. 6 course, we got a kickass meal. Can I say kick a** well? I did. I got the Diablo burger, which is a little spicy. Little burn, little kick, pretty delicious. Jalapeno jelly, with pepper bacon and pepper Jack cheese, can't go wrong in there. My wife got the barbecue cheddar Burger. Also, amazing beer batter, onion rings, and spicy fries. A couple of red beers to wash it down, and we are good to go. And as the theme of this review can't go wrong coming here again.

I love that place !!! I came here 6 times in the last month it’s worth it ! The food is amazing and the people are very nice. You have to try the big cookie it’s delicious ! The only thing is that the food takes a lot of time to get to the table but the quality makes up for it 😍

Blackhorse Pub and Brewery in Clarksville, TN was an outstanding choice, recommended by locals in the know. I opted for the spicy chicken sliders, which could have benefited from a more generous serving of Sriracha mayo to elevate the flavors. Additionally, the pickles could have been brined with a spicy kick. Moving on to the pizza, the toppings were fresh and enjoyable, but the crust lacked the desired crunch that true pizza connoisseurs seek. While it possessed a pleasant chewiness, it was missing the traditional malt flavor that one expects from an authentic Italian pie. On a brighter note, the steak did not disappoint. It was tender, skillfully prepared, and seasoned to perfection, allowing the natural flavors of the beef to shine. Among the brews, the stout stood out as a personal favorite. As the old saying goes, "never trust a beer you can see through." Service at Blackhorse Pub and Brewery was exceptional, particularly given our party size of 10. Our waitress effortlessly managed our needs while attending to her other tables. Splitting the check in half at the end was a breeze, thanks to her efficiency and attentiveness.

The food here tasted wonderful. I have never eaten beer dip at any restaurant, and I was not disappointed. We tried a pizza with pepperoni and bacon. The proportion wasn't very big, but tasted good nonetheless. Our waitress was very friendly and fast, I had never seen my drink reach the bottom. Amazing service. Inside the building was also nice and well kept. I will be back at some point. 👌 I highly recommend the beer cheese dip as an appetizer.

Delicious food & our server Mickel was great!! His suggestion of the fried green tomatoes was such a good one!! They have pimento cheese spread on top with tomato jam on the side 🤤 I could've made a meal out of them!! The crispy Brussel sprouts were also delicious!!!! The steak burger was a bit dry but had a good flavor. The onion rings were ok, not as crispy as I like.

Was a busy place so they sat us upstairs. It was rustic but also had charm and nice touches. And sitting upstairs was like a loft with a cool ceiling and overlook that was fun. Service was good but the food stole the show! Fried green tomatoes with so much yummy crunch and zing with a creamy sauce on top. Also had, (photos didn’t come out sorry) fried Brussels sprouts that were so delicious as well as blue cheese wedge salad that was crisp and as amazing as everything else they served us. It’s in old Downtown Clarksville in an easy to get to location on Main Street with lots of boutique shops to visit. Love this downtown! Bon Apatite

Went to Black Horse on a Saturday night and despite being busy we were seated pretty quickly. We played corn hole outside while we waited. The food was great. I recommend any of the burgers and the Mac and cheese. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We only waited 15 mins for our food to come out. Overall great experience.

We were on a 2,300 mile round trip for a conference. We stopped in Clarksville, TN to see a friend and was wanting the best food in town. Black Horse Pub was just that! It was by far the best restricted on our trip. I highly recommend the Ribeye and Mac n Cheese. And don't forget to beer cheese and chips! The steak is on my top 4 list and I would compare it to the steak I had at Gordon Ramsey Steak in Kansas City. The brews were all great, the Vanilla being my favorite. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Wanted to say something nice about this place based on all the good reviews, but not much to say. Atmosphere was alright but got sat upstairs by ourselves with no music and baseball on tv. Started with soups and drinks. Soups were straight Campbell's out of the can tasting. Potatoes soup was basically mashed potatoes. Lumberjack soup was Campbell's vegetable soup. Food took forever and when we got it was basically cold. Noone in the family liked anything. Sad and feel bad but shucks....chicken sandwich was way undercooked, steak way overcooked, and even the salads were soggy and drenched in sour tasting dressing. Might try to come here again for pizza but other places around way better ... Dock 17, Thirsty Goat, and King Bluff all included....and why is the host wearing basketball shorts and a stained shirt!??? Only positive thing was the waiter, Christian, was super polite and really nice.

Attentive and friendly staff. It was a very relaxed experience. We had pizza and beer. The pizza was nicely done and had good flavor. I enjoyed my beer as well. The place was really clean. We will be back. Nice comfortable space! Everyone seemed to be having a good time.
