Good burger. Good price for the size. Extremely helpful counter person helped us for our first time. When we ordered she assumed we want a 'tray'' which is their combo but we quickly got it right. Wife says the Cajun seasoning on the chicken is too salty so she only ate half of the sandwich. If I lived here I'd come back and try more options. Very good prices!

The old saying, "You get what you pay for" definitely rings true here. The "Big" double burger was tiny and burnt. You really could only taste the bun and burnt crisps which encompassed both very small patties. The quesadilla was also lacking any protein, barely any cheese or meat. The fries were mediocre at best. However the onion rings were actually pretty tasty, my wife ordered those and I believe it was the best item we both tried. She did say her chicken sandwich wasn't any good, but since I didn't try it myself I can't give a valid review of that item. I was going to give a 2 star rating, but I went with 3 since the onion rings were solid and it was so cheap. I literally had a small double burger, a dinky quesadilla, so/so fries, and a large drink for right over 8 bucks total. Which really isn't bad for today's soaring prices. Like I said before, you definitely get what you pay for at the Cookout. Hope this review helps😁

Good fast food. Staff is wonderfully sweet and helpful. Seating clean and open, with music that is not too loud. Great place to go if you have a huge appetite. Something for everyone.

It was my first time trying this place and I was excited. I had to wait on the street because traffic was crazy. Finally get to the drive through and waited behind the same two cars that were there the whole time I was waiting out on the street. It's finally my turn. I informed the worker that I need some time before it was my first time here. There is a lot to read through to try and figure out what to get. I don't think I was there very long before some one was asking to take my order, I informed them that I was still deciding. They came back with that I should come inside to decide. I told them that I would just leave. They said thank you to us living. Tone speaks louder than just words. It was not kind. I'm sorry for taking time to decide what to order from a place I have no clue about. If I was able to come inside to order I would have. People use the drive through for a reason. My excitement turned to frustration.

Cook Out has a good amount of food for the price. The food was well seasoned and flavourful. My only complaint is that my milkshake wasn't ready until well into my meal.

It was slow and quiet for a fathers day weekend. Parking can definitely stand to be fixed , when the drive through is busy. It's nearly impossible to get out of there. Whoever approved that plan. Gets all the thumbs down

I really wanted to love this place! But the burgers were both overcooked and really dry. Ordered them cheddar style, and sadly Cook Out uses that electric orange liquid cheese flavored product. Also tried the hot dogs, which were pretty low quality and not a lot of flavor. I will say that the onions on the burger were amazing! Not sure how they cooked them but they had a great flavor. Service at the drive through was good, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Milk shakes taste great but you can definitely work on customer service, some workers on their phone instead of taking care of customers, also not good experience at the drive thru, he was rude.

Was exceptional food. Never been there before, and the drive through attendant was concerned enough to asked, "if we had any questions to ask." That's something small, but you know McDonald's would never ask you that. Not only was the food straight out of the fryer/right off the grill hot and fresh, but they keep it old school. Your burger is wrapped in aluminum foil, and your drink and "meal box" come in styrofoam... Ya know like back in the good ole 90s.

I had heard rave reviews about this chain while in another city where they have a store. I pulled off the Interstate to try a cheddar burger at this location. I thought I requested grilled onions? Perhaps we had a miscommunication or else they barely touched the grill? The burger meat, though hot, was quite unimpressive in size, texture, and flavor. No comparison to several other regional burger chains I frequent while traveling.

My family of 4 just ate lunch at Cookout and it was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had in a fast food restaurant. I was shorted an order of fries ( so I thought) and the gentleman in the kitchen very kindly fixed that only to find that it wasn’t his mistake but mine. When I returned to the counter to point out that they nor the person that took my order had NOT made a mistake the same gentleman that I now know was “ Gary” could again, not have been kinder or more professional. We are so quick to point out the negative but, today I have to give Gary a shout out, we need more people in the world like him. The Borchardt Family

My first time at a Cook Out burger joint and my last …..::Horrible Horrible food . Chili looked like diarrhea on my 2 Chili dogs. Smelled even worse and tasted old and reheated 10 times. And it wasn’t even hot. My double burger tray with fries and onion rings were nasty. 4 cold onions rings and at least the fries were warm…. Minimal sized meat patties were tasteless . No free refills on fountain soda drinks… the service was non existent and rude and prep time was forever…. Kitchen help needed training. Sad experience. I should have known better… 🤮 Wilma Rudolph Location!

We stopped in for lunch even though the drive-through line was wrapped completely around the building. We went in to order and like most all Cook Outs, our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. We always get a cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and a milkshake. The seasoning on the Cajun fries is soooo good! Also, the Chocolate (double) fancy milkshake is the best!

This is the best late night place around. They are quick, efficient (who’s is rare) & friendly. Cook out food is good & the trays give you a lot of choices at a very affordable price

Grabbed a quick bite to eat here while in Clarksville. Service was fast little after the lunch rush. Food was fresh and tasted good.

Great place to stop and eat although we had not tried anything from here before. We tried the Cajun chicken sandwich and the Spicy chicken sandwich. Both were fantastic and had great flavor. We also tried two of the milkshakes, the banana and the Oreo. Although the shakes were a little thick they were definitely authentic and had a good flavor. The employee behind the register taking our order did not show a whole lot of enthusiasm and when asked about products did not upsell in any way shape or form.

Love cooked out, and my order came out fast but the service needs to improve. The young lady looks like she was having a bad day or she was grumpy and was bothered because we asked for bbq sauce. Also, I asked for Cajun fries and I received regular fires and notice when I was far from the place.

Went with friends my first time. Food was tasty but I didn't know I needed to add what I wanted on my sandwich, the menu implied it came automatically. Fries were very yummy. Shake was thick and big.

This was our first time eating at Cook Out. My husband and I shared a double burger, chicken wrap, onion rings, and a milk shake. The double burger and chicken wrap both were small, what I would consider a child size portion. We only got 4 onion rings and they were not large. The milk shake was a decent size and it tasted good. It only cost $10.31, so at least it wasn't too expensive.

I was passing through Clarksville today for business and decided to stop at Cook Out for a burger. Went to the Drive Thru and ordered my burger and drink, then went on my way. Down the road I opened my burger to discover I had a BBQ sandwich. Not what I ordered. What's worse is that the BBQ sandwich was covered in coleslaw. I hate coleslaw. My lunch was inedible and I was traveling down the interstate away from Cook Out. Is it so difficult to deliver what the customer orders? Never again... Should have driven down the road to Jersey Mike's. They get my order right...

Arrived at the drive thru about 11AM on a Sunday morning, and the line was already around the building. As it was my first time at a Cook Out restaurant, I was unfamiliar with their menu, but the employee working the drive thru window was knowledgeable, patient, and assisted with completing my order. There is quite a large selection to be made if you haven't an idea of what you're in the mood for. The employee politely took my order, taking note of certain condiments requested and also those requested to be held off of the sandwich. Witjin 2 minutes I was enjoying one of the hottest, tastiest cheese burgers that I've ever had at a fast food establishment, along with some very crispy Crinkle cut fries and a large sweet tea, made southern style. The burger itself was nicely put together, hot, extremely juicy, and had it not been so satisfying right then, I might have gone back through the line to re-order another just like it for later on in my toad trip. It was that good. I don't know if Cook Out burgers are a larger chain or just a single property venue, but I know that anytime I happen to be driving through Clarksville, TN, I'll stop by again.

Good food for a fast food place. The pulled pork and hush puppies are delicious! They're shakes are very good as well and super thick!

The food is very good, always hot, the presentation very good and delicious... Previously the people who attended me were very friendly and efficient and the treatment was fast and excellent, but the past 3 times we have gone, the cashier with a horrible attitude as if it weighed on her work, not only to us but also with a couple of elderly people on one of the occasions .... She spent more time in the kitchen area than in the cashier area and it was not delivering the food because the one who delivered the food to us was another employee who was in the kitchen area.... Previously we had had problems with her in the drivetru because she gave us the wrong orders and when we pointed out to her both times she treated us with attitude and it was a problem to give us the order correctly.... So we preferred to order the food inside the store to avoid having to deal with this problem.... Unfortunately the last 3 times we went to eat inside the store she was the person attending the cash register and just like in the drivetru the attitude was still the same. Now when we go if she is the one at the cash register we prefer to leave and eat elsewhere.... Very unfortunate because prior to this, the other employees have been very friendly and efficient....

This was our first experience with Cook Out. Drive thru was fast, efficient and friendly on Christmas Eve. There was a small error with our order (not uncommon for a family with 4 kids!) and I had to go inside to correct it. The manager was kind, appogetic and quick to help us and we were on our way in no time!

Cashier was very unpleasant. She didn't even get the order right after repeating it back correctly. Food not good compared to other cook out locations. Milkshakes on point!!

Cook Out burger has been my go to since there are no In-n-Outs in Tennesee. Usually they're pretty generous with the meat but today I went for the usual and Holy Cow, the menu has changed; what they called a double was basically a McDonald's burger patty cooked, cook out style; 1/3rd the usual meat, with twice as much bread for the same price. Tracking, Brandon has done wonders to our economy since taking office so I empathize.. service is still good and quick but, going to start making my burgers at home from now on. The value is just not there anymore.

The food was good. The service....not so much. The person taking my order wouldn't let me finish without asking "Is that all?" They didn't offer any condiments and rush through everything plus closed the window on me before I could say anything.
