Cathy Fisher is the manager at the location at Clarksville, TN 3083 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. My employee and I had breakfast at the location of 4/25/2022. We entered the restaurant at 11:15 am. We were conducting online zoom interviews while enjoying our meal. We were still at the restaurant a little after 3pm. About 3:05 to be exact. I wanted to get another cup of coffee and was told that I had to pay for another cup after I had already paid the bill and tipped the server. We were also told that we had been in the restaurant too long and could not get any more food from the bar and we had to leave. I am truly upset because i enjoy coming to Shoney's because of the calming atmosphere. I did not see a sign displayed saying that there was a time limit to be in the restaurant and that we would be charged to get more food. The attitude of Cathy Fisher was sour and she became very argumentative with myself and my employee. If this is how you handle business you should be shut down. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB about how we were treated today. We came to enjoy a good meal and instead treated with the most disrespect.

This is one of the best places I've eaten for breakfast. First, when I walked in I was greeted by my soon to be waitress. She sat me down immediately and close to the food bar. She took my drink order and gave it to me within 3 mins. As I was eating she checked up on me 3 different times within the whole 25 mins I was there. The place was very clean and had everything spaced out but not too far. Great experience would recommend and eat here again.

This place was awesome!! The fried chicken, Mac and cheese, mashed potato’s- shoot everything- were to die for. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much when we walked in and saw it was a Buffett, but do not let that fool you. The hostess/server named Kim deserves the world. She was so so sweet, conversational, and funny. She said she had been there for I think 18 years? I can’t remember the exact time frame, but Kim if you see this, you made our entire trip. She was so sweet and made this visit to Shoney’s amazing. We’ll be back for sure!

Shalom, I enjoy going to this Shoney's restaurant to get breakfast their grits, eggs scrambled, pancakes are delicious. The service is great they honor military discount. I got my food for take out I called by phone to make my order for pickup. I added on my cheese at home. The price was good for 1 person but, I had enough to share with my son.

This Shoney's has a beautiful interior and the friendliest staff! They have been remodeled since the original days and everything is clean and well laid out. Food on the buffet was fresh and plentiful, and my waitress was extremely attentive.

I have been there a few times while visiting my b/f in KY. The cabbage beef soup was awesome. Spent over $30.00 in food. I was appalled that you can not get a to go cup of tea, (which is what I had), unless you pay for it. The server said Kathy Fisher has fired and walked employees out the door for not charging for to go cups. Wow. If a to go cup for a drink that you are/have already paid, this is pure "d" greed for real.

Everyting was ok until the time to pay. There system charge my card but she says was no paid for and that the problem was my card and the manager did nothing to fix the problem . She was very rude and no help full at all. The server was awesome . So i got charge twice and she told me call you bank is not our problem.

Great Shoney's food and service! Not many left. I was excited to find this one off the exit! Nothing is the same anymore, the prices for a single meal are what you would've paid only a few years ago for two people! I had the Slim Jim, fries, and a salad. With a 15% tip it was just under $23.00! Not their fault but still insane! Just so you know as well, I asked for a to-go cup for my left-over tea and the waitress informed me she would have to charge me $2.50 more!!! Sad times.

I took three hungry teenagers to this location the other day for the breakfast buffet around 8am. There were plenty of open tables. The food on the buffet was hot and fresh. Some of the items they had on the buffet included: scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, fried bologna, biscuits, gravy with and without sausage, pancakes and various toppings, french toast sticks, donuts, etc. They had a full salad bar and cold bar as well. Our server, Susan, was very kind and attentive.

H to eat, or have time Although the food is much improved from years past, the service has gotten ridiculous. First, several months ago, they refused to allow us to take our leftover soda or tea to go at the end of our meal. Now, if you order the house salad as one of your sides, they refuse to serve crackers with it, say you need to add the salad bar for $6 if you want crackers with your salad. Although I enjoy having the salad bar from time to time, I usually don't want that much to eat or have the time at lunch break. Guess I will skip them for lunch now, just go for dinner sometimes.

They were super busy and we still only waited about 10 minutes to be sat. All the food was hot, fresh, and tasty. Fruit was super fresh. 11.99 for adults and 5.99 for kids.

When we arrived the waitress was very nice and friendly. The food was okay, not much of a selection for the price but that’s fine. We got to time to pay and we were told it was $6.99 for kids 10 and under. I had my 2 nieces one was 6 years old and the other was 10 years old. The waitress didn’t even ask me their age she just assumed. When we got the bill we realized that my older niece was charged that he adult price so we asked her why and she told us that she looked way too old to be 10 years old. So in other words saying we were lying about her age. I find that rude and disrespectful.

When we noticed the Shoney's sign we were excited to stop as we haven't come across a Shoney's in many years. We had dinner at a Monday at 6pm. Only a couple of other people eating, so it was not busy. Our waitress was nice, but not attentive and seemed to be perplexed at our simple order off of the menu. When she wasn't helping the few customers, she sat up front on her phone. The food bar seemed fairly fresh for a slow Monday evening. My mushroom chicken was okay with a moderate salt taste throughout.

We used to really love Shoneys. I'm not sure what has changed or maybe it was always this way and I didn't notice, but they now have breakfast out all day. Which is cool, but it takes spots away for other food at the buffet. Dinner time there is only fried chicken now (which last time it was very dry, it crumbled right in my hands). There is tons of salad stuff & tons of dessert. But if you're going for a good dinner at the buffet, or even a lunch, I would skip it.

I am so glad we stopped in for lunch here today! Not only was the buffet clean and full and fresh, but also everyone dining was just as delighted as we were to be here. What a great vibe! I will definitely be coming here for my lunch stop when I work nearby. I asked who the manager is so I could let them know what a good thing it was for us…Kathy Parker = two thumbs up!

Food could have been better and server Kim was rude and pushy and automatically pushed the tip amount she thought she deserved. She also spilt diet coke all over me as well. I Asked for a hot fudge Sundae she brought out hot fudge cake and I told her to take it back I ordered a sundae not hot fudge cake she gets another attitude about that. Also no one wants breakfast at lunch it was very disappointing going to a lunch buffet and it is almost all breakfast I really miss the north second street location that's no longer standing

Save your money from this place. The buffet only had dried out chicken that appeared to have been there for hours and meatloaf that didn’t even resemble meatloaf. I ordered from the menu and that burger was fine. They don’t honor the same senior discount for the buffet as other Shoney’s we’ve dined in and they don’t honor veterans as other Shoney’s restaurants. The bathrooms were terrible conditions. They wasn’t even busy. We will NEVER go to this site again but we will dine at Shoney’s in the future but we won’t go to this one ever.

Ehhhh... could've picked 10 better places to go to. Wasn't terrible but wasn't good. Very very mediocre. I was excited to come here because Florida doesn't have Shoneys anymore but my excitement dwindled quickly unfortunately 😕. Our waitress was nice. Another waitress Sue seemed like she could be the snob of the crew... but overall we were full when we left. Oh, French toast was pretty good. As well as biscuits n gravy 👍

Great service, great food in the buffet. I gave 2 stars on atmosphere mainly because of the restroom. It literally smelled like someone or something died in there. Other than that, place was nice.

Breakfast bar/buffet was excellent, all the food was fresh, hot and really good. Biscuits and gravy were awesome, french toast sticks crispy and delicious. Staff was attentive and really nice. Have not been to a Shoneys in a long time, now I know what I am missing!

Breakfast buffet was great. Service was ok. My 2 children ask for Togo cups so they could take their drinks with them .Hostess said it would cost more for the to go drinks. Said they could drink their drinks here. She showed me the amount and had already push button for 20% gratuity if it was ok. I asked for a comment card they did not have any. I don't think I will eat at their Shoneys again. You don't treat customers like that.you don't ask for gratuity.

Shoney's was pretty good - it's been a long time since I was at one. I only felt a little let down since they pushed a free buffet for Veterans [which I am one] and I convinced a couple of my work colleagues to meet there for breakfast before going back to the office. The switch was that you had to have your ID & I lost mine in my wallet & I hadn't had the chance to get it replaced. I asked the lady if my DD-214 would suffice & she said she was told she had to see an ID.

Kim our waitress was awesome. She is such a nice lady. Ask for her. Breakfast bar was really good. All the food I ate was fresh and hot.

We went between 12-12:30p on a weekday and ate the buffet. Breakfast was on the buffet as well as lunch. The breakfast items were eggs, grits, French toast, French toast sticks with sugar or something on them, pancakes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, potatoes, muffins, and more. Lunch items were fried chicken, chicken tenders, green bean, mash potatoes, fried apples, and more. Very surprised and pleased with the selection. Service was great.. definitely will be returning.

By far the best service I’ve had since moving to Clarksville! We had Debbie as our server and she was an absolute delight. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is so happy. Honestly the food was just a plus of being here!

We haven't been to Shoney's in over two years because our last experience was just that bad. I can happily say that this place is amazing! Kimberly is awesome! And they got my eggs right!

Everything was great. I just have one issue that I want to bring to light. Why on earth did you guys change your fish and chips? Really, really, really disappointed. That has been my favorite meal for years. Always took me back to my childhood. My favorite since I was a child and I am 54 now. I only hope that maybe someday you will change it back.

The food is incredibly delicious and VERY affordable! It is tough to find good places to eat around Clarksville, but Shoney’s is a new personal favorite of mine. The pancakes are absolutely amazing. Portion sizes are generous and the prices are unbeatable!

Wonderful! First time my Fiance and I have been here, first time in tennessee for me! Our server Debra/Debbie was fantastic and showed us a real taste of southern hospitality. Very pleased with the overall experience. Thank you chef and the rest of the staff. We will be making another trip out from Illinois! 10/10

I haven't eaten at a Shoney's in so long due to our one in town closing but my boyfriend and I took a trip and found this one by chance while we were looking for places near us. This food really hit the spot. Staff was awesome. We were seated immediately and got food immediately from the bar! Food was fresh and they were putting out fresh dishes often to replinish the bar. This restaurant was very clean aswell. Will definitely be returning if we are in the area!

There aren't many Shoney's open anymore around were we live in Missouri so we are always excited to see one open when we are traveling. There is something for everyone. We enjoyed the Brunch buffet today, and we weren't disappointed. Everything was great, fresh and to perfect temperature. I enjoyed the salad bar and lunch and my husband had the breakfast part and we both were extremely satisfied with everything. Kim our waitress was friendly and fun to visit with. She kept my husband's drink filled at all times, which is a big deal to him. 😀 We will definitely stop in again next time we pass through this way.
