Bojangles,
to
me,
is
a
place
I
often
forget
exists.
This
is
not
due
to
my
dislike
of
the
place,
but
rather
my
propensity
to
not
eat
fried
chicken
regularly.
However,
whenever
I
go
here,
I
generally
enjoy
my
visit.
The
food
is
good,
which
usually
outweighs
my
experience
with
the
staff.
Today,
it
was
an
okay
experience,
but
nothing
that'd
fix
Bojangles
more
firmly
in
my
mind.
Bojangles
is
to
KFC
like
Chevrolet
is
to
GMC.
Those
that
know
more
about
either
the
restaurants
or
the
trucks
can
and
probably
will
disagree
with
me,
but
to
me,
this
is
an
appropriate
comparison,
as
it
seems
like
both
restaurants
offer
pretty
much
the
same
thing,
just
in
different
packages.
In
my
experiences
with
both
restaurants,
the
staff
were
generally
unpleasant,
not
rude,
but
seemingly
inconvenienced
with
my
presence.
The
food
and
biscuits
are
great
though,
and
that's
what
I
was
looking
for
as
I
stepped
inside
the
Bojangles
on
Madison
Street.
Immediately,
I
can
see
there's
not
a
lot
of
people
inside.
In
fact,
there's
only
one
other
person
inside,
though
the
drive-thru
has
customers.
It's
something
I
always
notice
when
I'm
trying
to
gage
whether
this
restaurant
is
a
good
choice
or
not.
I
find
that
the
best
restaurants
are
standing
room
only,
so
I
was
a
little
apprehensive
to
walk
inside
and
see
only
one
person
inside
during
lunch
time.
This
person
was
talking
with
another
person
that
was
standing
a
little
ways
off,
whom
I
figured
to
be
an
associate.
I
took
no
mind
of
it
and
walked
to
the
counter,
waiting
for
someone
to
take
my
order.
Having
seen
the
menu
and
the
DoorDash
price,
I
knew
what
I
wanted.
Someone
on
the
line
acknowledged
me
very
quickly,
telling
me
someone
would
take
my
order
in
just
a
second.
I
didn't
mind,
though
I
did
notice
that
the
lady
talking
with
the
guy
out
on
the
floor
was
the
lady
that
took
my
order,
and
I
stood
there
for
maybe
a
minute
or
two
before
she
came
and
helped
me.
I
make
a
habit
of
not
just
telling
people
what
I
want.
I
try
to
engage
in
small
conversation.
I
feel
like
we
sometimes
forget
that
we're
all
people,
and
we
need
to
be
reminded
that
we're
all
in
this
together.
The
lady
was
pleasant
to
chat
with,
and
took
my
order
accurately.
My
food
came
up
quickly,
too!
I
had
just
enough
time
to
get
my
drink
and
step
back
up
to
the
counter
before
they
placed
my
tray
down
in
front
of
me!
My
food
was
good.
Portion
size
was
a
little
smaller
than
I'd
like
for
the
price
I
paid,
but
I'm
a
big
guy,
so
portion
control
ain't
my
strong
suit.
The
chicken
had
just
a
LITTLE
hint
of
spice,
which
made
it
really
good!
The
fries
were
cold,
though,
which
was
a
big
disappointment.
I
ate
two
or
three
of
them
before
I
decided
to
just
throw
them
away.
Cold
fries
are
a
shame.
I
understand
that
the
business
doesn't
want
to
throw
out
old
fries
if
they
could
sell
them
so
they
don't
lose
money
over
it,
but
it's
still
a
shame
that
I'm
caught
in
that
simply
because
the
company
isn't
busy
during
lunch.
All
in
all,
Bojangles
was
good
for
a
spur-of-the-moment
lunch
decision.
It
wasn't
super
impressive,
but
it
wasn't
terrible.
Perhaps
I'll
be
back
one
day,
but
it
won't
be
even
the
fifth
thing
I
think
of
when
going
down
the
list
of
places
I
wanna
eat
from.
