This was by far the most disgusting unkept buffet I have ever seen. The entire line was filthy and ignored. Food was left online which was far passed its expiration and none of the employees cared to correct anything. Some of the new items coming out were clearly burnt or over cooked. Of my 6 guests 2 ended up refusing to eat. Having been here years before I was shocked to see the blatant lack of care from employees. I could see prep employees on the back cross contaminating products. As the salad replenished the employee had stuck the whole plastic bag of new lettuce onto the old one online, burying the old lettuce and getting who knows what was on the bag into the food. The service provided by this establishment is atrocious.

Best meal I've had in a long time... Being a person who doesn't eat meat and toys to not do dairy. This place had soooo much for me to eat. There vegetables ranged from Brussels, Cabbage, carrots, black eyed peas, white beans, sweet potatoes and a big salad bar. Needless to say I could breathe after my full plates. Cameron was great and the front and the server with braids was like superwoman clearing and cleaning. Really attentive servers and cooks. Will be back! Thank you so much for what yall do... Food was good. Lots of options. Some of the food was dried out from sitting to long. And some of just looked like it hadn't been touched in hrs.

I ate at this restaurant one day the last week of August, and experienced terrible service. We arrived hours before closing but after we had been seated the restaurant shut down hours beforehand due to it being slow. This was a decision made right after we had been bought our drinks- the kitchen was yelling to the front of house staff about the last time a customer had come in, and was heatedly discussing with the manager how many people were still seated and that it was too slow to be open. All of these conversations should be held out of earshot of customers. During this time we overheard a manager telling staff to keep food for reserving the next day (much of this food we wouldn’t eat at all, it looked like it had been sitting for hours- well past it’s prime). Most areas in the restaurant were messy despite the staff saying it had been slow. Food was being taken off the buffet well before we were finished making our plates. If I paid for a buffet, I should have access to the entire buffet, not feel awkward as we approached when the kitchen staff was clearly trying to wrap up and go home. It was incredibly unprofessional as it was clear we were being rushed out. As we were ready to leave, I was unsure of how to tip as we paid with a debit card. I was talking to the other member of my party about how to tip using our debit card when our server came over to give a lecture about how she is not paid in any way but tips and the restaurant doesn’t pay. As I have also worked as a server, I know how this works (low hourly wage + tips) and always tip. However, I find the fact that she was so clearly eavesdropping on our conversation and thought it was appropriate to come over and have an attitude about why we needed to tip her was a bit over the top and rude. Later that night, I became sick. I had been completely okay until eating here. I would never eat at this place.

Stood in line for 45min due to the employees in ability to work a cash register. Manager just stood by and watch as a full lobby was waiting. There was hardly anybody actually in the restaurant, just a large line waiting while nobody worked. I would recommend going to the Hermitage location due to the fact they actually have some level of service

Food was good. Service was good. The only bad thing I have to say is they were supposed to open at 10am, but they were late opening the doors. That sucks when you're hungry.

I will never return to a Golden Corral after my experience. I was eating the pot roast and felt something while chewing. It was a piece of metal! I notified the waitress who immediately stated it was from the metal scrub brush and would let them know. I had a direct view of the dish on the buffet line and I never saw them change it out. I spoke to a manager when I left who said she was aware and they swapped it out. There is no excuse for finding a foreign object in your food especially while at a restaurant. The fact that the waitress and manager were so nonchalant was also concerning. Avoid if possible and if not, triple check the food you are eating for signs of metal or any other objects.

Big buffet with somewhat fresher foods than other buffets..they have a whole produce stand and I see the chefs prepping meats and fruit but most of the veg are from cans but with the huge catering style portions they make that's understandable. The meat chef messed up the temperature of my steak but did his best to correct it, it was still off but 90% less fat and gristle than the first one which was ALL fat and gristle. He even brought the second one directly to my table and asked was it okay I said yes because it was close enough and way better to eat. The server was excellent. I wouldn't go back though which kinda hurts because Golden Corral use to be one of my favorite chain buffets.

We went for an early lunch--11:00 a.m. This is the best Golden Corral I have ever visited! All the food was fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything on the salad bar was clean, cool, and crisp. I also had the best clam chowder ever. The roast beef was tender and delicious. They had a great selection of vegetables too. The bread pudding I had for dessert was creamy and moist--not dried out as is sometimes the case on a buffet. The employees were friendly and personable. Our server--I think Keandra was her name--was exceptional. It was overall a very pleasant experience.

As we arrived, the lady that took our money must've been in a bad mood because her attitude toward myself and my granddaughter was stank. We approach a table to sit and the waiter proceeds to wipe 2 tables with a dirty looking cloth. He wipes our table as well. The plates were stacked on the table for us to serve ourselves. They were dirty. The waiter takes the plate from my granddaughter and wipes it with the same dirty cloth and hands it back to her. Disgusting! I ask for a whole set of clean plates because the stack we had had dried food on them. My granddaughter wanted pizza and we got ignored when trying to ask if they could bring pizza out. We originally went for steak but didn't know they didn't serve that til afternoon hours. Finally, got the pizza and it tasted horrible. It was just thrown together. This place used to be great. Not anymore. Just a waste of my money and our time for Nana and granddaughter day☹️

The food was good. TAJ was an amazing server, she always kept the plates clear and coming along with the drinks. Thank you Taj.

We had a male server. Never checked on us to see if we needed anything until it was time to leave. Another table ate 2 plates before they received drinks an had to call out his name as sir before he notice they had been there. We needed hot sauce he gave us it from a table where people were using it. The steaks where rubber. No pizza was available the whole time. It wasn't terrible but not great. The machine on the way out took our money. Hope ur excited was better than ours.

Food was not great. Paid 80 dollars for my family to eat. Had to push tables together just for a family of 6. The steak they had the guy said hey these are thin and I only have well done. The food selection was pretty minimal. The waitress was nice but I had to ask for more plates multiple times. Sat with an empty cup for 35 minutes.

It was horrible food was barely there. Food was gross made my sister feel sick and when she went to the bathroom the door on the stall had no lock and almost got walked in on. She felt uncomfortable to even use the bathroom. Watery ice cream, only constant working people with no attitude where the dishwashers and bus boys and girls. It is very very unsanitary personally I am not coming back especially with family getting sick.

Went today at noon...most of the food choices were bare to none or dried out. The chicken breast was dry and tough. But the worst part of the experience was the dining room itself....there were tables set up for service that were not clean but the biggest issue...all the dirty dishes in the stack of clean dishes you were given! The lady beside us had 4 in her stack...one had dried egg yolk on it...kinda hard to miss a huge spot of egg I'd think....one had cheese sauce on the bottom of it and all over the top of the one under it. We watched the waitress casually looking at the plates as she put them on the table and pretty much every stack she was removing dirty ones. This will be a place of no return.

The food was mediocre at best. Fried chicken was very greasy, the hash brown casserole was cold, the popcorn shrimp was either very light brown or dark brown. One was undercooked the other was too done. No salsa for the taco bar but the chips were too chewy/ greasy to eat anyway. When I asked about some the girl just shrugged her shoulders and said “I dunno”, very helpful. One dish I’m assuming was pulled pork was totally dried out. The buffets area was a mess with food all over it and the floor in front of it. I’ve seen nicer bathrooms in run down gas stations. We just made a note of which exit this was and will not return again. The only great thing was our server!

Food was okay but they were missing a few items that I was expecting to be at a buffet. I feel like we were way over charged just because it was easter. Some food items could have been presented better, like having mashed potatoes in a bigger pan so they didn't run out ever 5 minutes.

Overall a nice meal with my father. The food was nice. Many many choices; most fresh and hot. The servers did their job. Place was clean. The bathroom was clean. Plates on the table ready to go is a nice thought, but I'm not sure how clean that is. It strikes me how few people greet one another (much less their customers) with a smile.

Upon coming in it wasn't too busy, got to our table in less than e minutes and the place needed cleaning pretty good. The food was either out at the buffet or cold and old. The steak was dry and tough not at all how I like it. I will say the staff were great and friendly, no problems there the sweet tea was southern certified. Needs work on all the food and the cleanliness. I felt dirty leaving the place.

Food was excellent. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Waitress was super nice. Our first time eating at this location. Best one we've experienced so far. Lots of people there but wasn't overly crowded. Really great dining experience. Highly recommend this location. We will definitely go there again when we're back in and around the Clarksville area.

This is our favorite weekend breakfast buffet restaurant. The food is always good. The selections are plentiful. They friendly wait staff do a great job of keeping the dining area clean. They are also responsive to any needs you may have. Their COVID protocols include providing gloves as you go through the line, hand sanitizers throughout the restaurant, and extra care in clearing and sanitizing the dining tables and chairs. We will definitely return often.

Came here for the first time and woln’t be the last! The food is amazing especially there desert bar. I LOVE their red velvet cake! The food is absolutely amazing and the employees are super helpful and friendly. It’s a clean atmosphere and covid friendly. And I love how once your done eating that you don’t have to wait and pay like you do at most restaurants. You can just leave once your done. If your looking for a self serve restaurant then come here!

Great variety as always. I have been to a few different locations and this one seems very different. Could be the new social distance protocols but not too bad. Plates were on the table for you to grab and go. Some self-serve drinks for breakfast.

We have been a couple times the past couple weeks. Each time our experience has been amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Food has been delicious . It's very clean. Prices are great! We leave full! My kids keep begging to go back to the 'giant buffet'.

The food was excellent! But, the service was BEYOND PHENOMENAL!! The kindest, most friendly, and concerned about the customers' welfare staff that I've seen in a long time, and I was a former restaurant GM for over 10 yrs! ONLY thing I would change would be the proximity of the tables with each other. A bit too close for me anyway but, with Covid, they're really too close for my preference.

Golden Corral is a fast pace buffet of all American junk... The food isn't top tier but it's not nasty so my family has come here on multiple of occasions. Our family policy is that if we eat here you need to eat at least 2 plates and I don't disappoint. Their dessert table is probably the worse though.

  • 2/5 Robert C. 2 years ago on Google
Most of the food was pretty good, the sliders were ridiculous, so hard you couldn't eat them, the meat was so tough couldn't get it back off of the fork. The service was rather slow considering it wasn't crowded, our section only had people at two tables.

Was not great, was not awful. The waitress was sweet. The plates were dirty. Food was soso. We probably won't come back, value for the money and all, but I wouldn't caution people from eating here.

The service sucks. Waited awhile for her to come by an get our drinks then cups was empty and she clearly didn't want to fill them up. Ask for extra plates and she never brought them to the table. The food was not good, some the things was cold an tasted like it had been there all day. The dining area where you was to sit an eat smelled terrible and so many tables was nasty and needed to be cleaned off. Definitely was not what I had expected or seen on TV.

Ok, first let me say that the wait staff are marvelous! Very sweet and accommodating. That having been said, the food was...less than acceptable. I got a hamburger. The bun was quite literally rock hard. Got a second one figuring the first one was a one off. It wasn't. The rest of the meal was just ok. The desserts were good.

Good food. Customer service was hit and miss. My first time eating there was this week and the hosts didn't explain the seating arrangement. We had to ask a waiter on floor where to sit. Most people were confused by this. Communication from the time a guest comes through the door is key to a business. The communication was not there. Fried chicken had the same 4 pieces of breast on the line the whole time I was there. 40 min and no one filled the line with fresh chicken. Everything else was good though.

I just don't know what happened, it used to be okay but now it's just been awful. food is not very fresh. The meatloaf I had was literally ice cold like they pulled it out of the fridge and forgot to put it in the oven. Also getting a little pricey for the quality of food you get.

One of the best GC's I've been to. Their food is always perfect, I never have to doubt if it is going to taste the way I remember it. Perfect for a meal when you can't decide what you want.
