Great trails fun for the family. The trail is moderate due to how narrow and how many roots there are. Otherwise its easy. Couple of streams to cross so depending in rain lately could be challenging. The falls are worth it. A little farther and you get another set of smaller falls that go on a good ways.

Such an amazing hike.... Parked at the halfway mark mentioned by another reviewer (gravel dirt road) and the hike was only a half mile moderate walk/hike from where we parked. Beautiful views, great hike, will return!

Beautiful waterfall! Easy hike to get there. Only saw 1 other couple. There was a small creek crossing but did not get our feet wet. Great ride to get there!

Easy hike down a well cleared trail. The best way to get here is to go down 600G and look for a small sign. I have the sign pictured below.

Wonderful place to walk to. You can swim there. It is waste deep on one half and get deeper. The waterfall is real accessible. Plenty of spots on the rocks to sunbathe. Great place for a family day out.

Beautiful place to visit. Not a bad hike to the falls. Short cut vs the long. Took the long way and enjoyed it very much. Wanted to take in the fall colors and wasn't disappointed.

The hike to Cheaha Falls on the Chinabee Silent Trail was nice. The fall, though not as massive as some I've seen, relects raw power in its output. This is likely because the water only has a couple of outlets through the boulders in its path. The result is a spill of fierce intensity.

Quite the little gem of central Alabama. Easy hike with a spectacular view. Plenty of camp sites for overnight trips.

Another one of the Mt. Cheaha Alabama, secrets! Definitely recommend this place for a fun hike, and enjoyable experience. Hike in is under a mile from the gravel access road.

The sign is accurate. 1 mile in / 1 mile out. The serenity from this place is awesome. It is a place to center yourself spiritually. Camping is free here if you walk in.

Such a wonderful place. And so beautiful it's quiet and the scenery is amazing. If you are allergic to sumac aka thunderwood be careful.

The Cheaha Falls are beautiful! When you are almost there the trail will split Left and Right. Left πŸ‘(Left takes you to the bottom of the falls to swim). Going right will take you to the top of the falls. The pool at the bottom of the falls is nice for swimming. Watch your footing, the rocks are slippery when wet. The water is shallow in some spots and deep in other areas. It is surrounded by rocks and trees. Well worth the hike! Enjoy!

No fee to walk to the falls. Parking up on the main road, it's about a 5 mile hike through the woods to the falls. There's a couple parking spots closer to the direct path to the falls on the gravel road but there usually occupied. That being about a 3 mile hike. Both options are over all moderately flat and offer a great opportunity to enjoy nature at its finest. There is one spot if the waters up you might get your feet wet.

What a beautiful place!!! You can watch the falls from the top or go down to the water and swim.
