Beautiful place, first time back to see the Mill since the bridge was rebuilt. So happy to see it re-built and the hiking trails so well maintained. Only had time for one trail but my grandkids had a blast. Will be back to try out the rest. The kids also like seeing two people fishing while kayaking down the river.

Gorgeous, secluded spot along the river. It was all closed but still had information on the history of the mill and other building. Adorable bridge to cross to get to the site.

Was a fun little side trip to see some cool historic buildings and bridge. Short trip from Osbourne nature center. Go see it if you haven't yet.

Fun historic mill in the scenic hills of NE Iowa. Need to check when Mill is open. Just renovated accompanying stonehouse into a welcome center and inn.

Toured the Mill after a morning float trip on the Turkey River. The free tour was about 40 minutes long and that includes a 14 minute video at the beginning. It's a nice bit of Iowa history to visit.

Had been here several times in the past, always great to visit. The buildings are all closed off. But do tours throughout the year.

A magnificent seven story stone structure along the scenic Turkey River, now even more accessible with the iron bridge restored to provide a way to cross the river.

We were just driving along and saw a brown sign. Took the road and came across this very cool gem of a site. We were there on Sept.24. So it wasn't open. But still very interesting to read the signs and admire the amazing stone buildings. The bridge story is very interesting also. They have done a lot of work there and seem to have more planned There is a great camping area there with nice clean toilets. Good job to everyone involved. Beautiful country. Very glad we stopped
