Came for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. We loved the spacious, unique and charming room. The location was beautiful, but everything else was a giant disappointment. Check-in was disorganized at best. No one seemed to know what was going on. I had to ask for bottled water for our room 4x before being told we would be charged, then that they had none. We planned on a nice dinner, but ended up sitting in a pub style room and eating sub standard burgers because the dining room was "closed for the season". The gal who was providing the live entertainment was fantastic however. To brighten our spirits, we walked over to the tasting room and again were disappointed to see that it was closed- on a Friday evening. The next morning was the kicker- 5:45am and the downstairs phone starts ringing off the hook, uninterrupted, for over an hour. Not to worry. Staff arrived at 7am and started blaring music that could be heard throughout the rooms. When my boyfriend went down to say something, he was told the ''music wasn't that loud". We packed our bags and left shortly after. Everything had been such a let down up to this point that we didn't even bother to chance breakfast/brunch. It's a shame because this place has so much potential. I wanted to enjoy my birthday weekend getaway, but it just ended up being a birthday weekend disappointment.

I was pretty disappointed, I was expecting fine dining but was greeted with a menu with little options and overpriced bar food. I had not realized they have done away with fine dining. I knew something wasn’t right when only 3 cars were in the parking lot. The food was not that great. The waiter was friendly but seemed to be the only one working. Overall not the greatest experience and I won’t be back. It’s a beautiful place but doing away with the fine dining was a huge mistake & after reading the other reviews I can see why many others were also disappointed.

My husband and I have come to the chateau because we have always enjoyed the five star food, dining experience, and the general atmosphere of the chateau. We visited on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, and unfortunately found that things have changed in the overall food and dining experience. The food is no longer five star due to change in chefs in the kitchen and now is more like bar food or a little better. We did have a delicious salad and the chips and cheese dip were excellent as the dip was not too spicy for me, which I appreciated very much. My husband got the corned beef and cabbage special and about the only thing he liked on the plate was the mashed potatoes. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive and addressed our concerns about the meal. She went above and beyond and there are no complaints there. We also do enjoy the alcohol that the chateau makes at their distillery. Our biggest wish is that they would go back to fresher foods and fine dining.

WHAT happened??? Have been there many times over the past few years & this visit was absolutely the worst! 5 brunch items on the menu now. 4 tables with 2 waitresses and still had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks (Gin Bloody Mary was very nice!). 20 more minutes for the food, but during the wait the waitress came and took my BL glass without asking if I wanted another, I probably would have had a couple more. Food came out & my rare burger was well done, no one came to check on us EVER. Had to go to the bar to find out where to pay since we never got a check or asked why I left the burger uneaten. Waitress suddenly appeared! No excuse for anything, no "gee, I'm sorry but I was SO busy" nothing. I will NOT be back. Horrible service & food.

The drinks are very good, the distillery aspect is great, but that is now the main focus per the staff. The restaurant is not what is shown online. Their menu is very limited. We visited for the first time for my sisters birthday and we were very disappointed to see that all the menus that show online are no longer available and ended up going somewhere new for dinner. Check the Facebook for the updated menu if you are interested in going and interested in food!

All I would say about this place is that the view is nice. They were out of most of the food we tried to order. The drinks we ordered took forever to show up. The food the one couple ordered was subpar at best. The only thing good was the seasoned French fries. I would steer clear of this place and go somewhere else.

Amazing staff, location, food, and drinks. Went early for brunch and the staff was great in providing a great tasting experience at the bar. Overall, had a great time here and would absolutely go again.

It was our first brunch experience and was a little disappointing. We weren’t wowed for sure Seated ourselves on the outdoor patio. Waitress was frantic and in a rush, actually told her to calm down and that “we’re not in a rush”. Table wasn’t covered and sort of clean. Waffle on the ground under the table. Breakfast meals were good but no nice high end presentation, no garnish to wow us. The butter on the waffle was overly boozey, waffles delicious but no spoon provided for the yogurt which was runny. The Ranchero looked and tasked great. Mimosas were good but no wow factor except for the view.

Stopped for brunch on a September Friday to be told they aren’t doing brunch now. Bummer. However, we did totally enjoy our experience- free tastings (additional charge for more) and exceptional cocktails! Did a gin “flight” and a Sazerac cocktail and they were delicious. Sat at the bar area and was very comfortable with nice view over patio out to the water. Did have a limited lunch menu and our steak sandwich w/fries and huge salad were really, really good. Very knowledgeable staff and pleasant conversation. So glad we went (and discounted some less-than reviews).

Went here for lunch! The views were breathtaking. The service was so great even with how large of a group we were. The food was so good!
