Beautiful Trails, quiet and exactly the easy hike we were looking for with our dogs. Great proximity to Georgetown and the nostalgia of a perfect Colorado mountain town.

Very pretty hike with several varieties of mushrooms. Not many people on the path or in the parking lot

Very beautiful trail with off of Guanella Pass. Went a bit late this year, most the yellow Aspen leaves have fallen to the ground, but the trail was still beautiful nonetheless!

The 1.75 mile dirt road up to trailhead is bumpy, but not impassable based on my observation. We drove it in a truck, no issues, however, the parking at trailhead is un managed and totally random and packed so tight we could barely pass by. Extremely crowded with cars, minivans of all sorts jammed in there like sardines. This is not what I consider pleasant. I DO NOT RECCOMEND this trail for those who seek calm peacefull hiking as fun. This does not look fun. WE CAME! WE SAW! WE LEFT! Did not hike, will not return. Lots of great places to go and hike.

This was our first time in Georgetown. Once we found the trailhead entrance, there was plenty of available parking. I've been on trails where the trail markers were not clear, or the trails not well-marked. This was not the case with Silverdale. The trail markers were excellent, even to the point of indicating if the direction you want to go is an easy, moderate, or difficult trail, based on a typical color code of green, blue, and red, respectively. The paths were clear, challenging enough, and beautiful! I really look forward to the next time I can hike there.

Parking is OK for the demand, the leaves are beautiful and Georgetown down the road is a great town to visit and walk around in.
