This place is absolutely terrible. Do not waste your time for some reason Delta dental insurance had them on their list. I’m trying to convince them to remove this company by filling a grievance. All they care about is emptying your pockets. They refused to do a cleaning, even though my insurance pays for extensive cleaning, they wanted to charge an extra $430. I had to write on my paperwork I refused to pay for extra imaging of my teeth. These are all tactics of this company to try to bill for things you’re not asking for like taking special pictures to try to sell you some kind of teeth straightening system and also trying to convince you that your teeth are so bad you need a $430 cleaning and refused to do the cleaning that’s on my insurance. Run as fast as you can away from this place. Oh, and don’t think you’re gonna see an actual dentist. He’s gonna show up on the TV screen, ridiculous. They obviously don’t care about you or your teeth since they refused do the cleaning that my insurance will pay for which was for an extensive cleaning. It’s all about how much can a get from this session. An hour and a half and still no cleaning. So now I have to find a new dentist to get my cleaning. However this place taught me the tactics of crooks. Thanks for that Coast dental. 😬😬

Amazing people and an amazing experience. The staff makes you feel comfortable and safe. They make sure that you are OK and everything is OK. Sometimes it seems like they care more about you then they do themselves! Very informative and great way to explain everything. Great place to to make you feel safe and secure!

I just had a very negative experience @ Coast Dental Clearwater. My appointment was for a new patient evaluation and cleaning. They tried to offer me services that were not covered by my insurance. I advised them that I did not want anything that was not necessary, and that my insurance did not cover. I advised them of my cleaning benefits, copay etc. I was even charged a $39 new patient visit fee. The office manager did not listen or even care. She was not helpful. She did not call the insurance company to verify what I was trying to tell her. I declined services, paid and left. I called my insurance company. Ins called Coast dental and found out that Coast Dental didn’t update their billing system and so their codes were old- from 2022. Therefore, the codes that the office manager was telling me that my insurance didn’t cover and that I would have to pay & the $39 fee they charged me were actually COVERED by my insurance. It was a horrible experience, a waste of my time away from my job and I will never go back. The worst part of it was, if the office manager would’ve listened to me, just picked up the phone, called my insurance company and checked the codes, I would’ve been able to get my teeth cleaned that day but now I will never go back.

I recently moved to Florida from New York. When looking for a dentist I was told about a practice in St Pete. Quite a long drive for me seeing as I live in Clearwater. I went in for a cleaning & was told I needed 2 crowns? I told them I wanted a second opinion. My neighbor told me about Dr Amy Iglesias at Coast Dental. Upon meeting her I immediately felt like I was in good hands. She told me that 2 simple fillings would repair the problem and if I needed a crown…it would be in the future. Not now. That was months ago and my fillings are perfect! She was very kind and patient with me. Not to mention saving me thousands! I will definitely be returning for all my future dental work.

The staff and dentist were very friendly and gentle. The waiting room and treatment rooms are very nice. I go back in a couple of weeks to have some teeth pulled so I will know more later…. Lol

My daughter and I both see Dr. Amy Iglesias, and she is and amazing dentist! Actually she is the best dentist I've ever had, she restored my failing dentition, and now I can smile with confidence ! Very compassionate, and detailed oriented, we never feel rushed in her hands !

DO NOT BELIEVE THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS. THEY ARE ONLY SUPPRESSING THE ONE STARS. This place is a racket! It’s all about the money. I booked a cleaning appt and then when I got there they wouldn’t do it. They wanted to do everything but a cleaning and charge me hundreds of dollars. And the “dentist” wasn’t even there he was looking at my X-rays virtually. Scam artist!

Love the girl that deep cleans my teeth!. Also loved Dr. Javeed and her husband when they worked there. amazing dentists and very personable. However, the new dentist is rude and never smiles. I would be even allow her to look at my teeth...

Staff was VERY personable and knowledgeable. They spend adequate time to explain everything and explored various options with me in terms of potential treatment...the staff also took the time to provide me with an itemized price list that reflected both the cost with and without in house insurance. ReLly awesome. Best dentist ever!!!
