Excellent food and atmosphere. The trio was delicious! Ribs, shrimp and jerk wings… I’m drooling just from the memory. The Calamari is some of the best I’ve had, and the dipping sauce served with them is amazing! The server and gentleman who answered the phone were very friendly and informative. If you’re in the area give this establishment a try. You will not regret it.

Fantastic place. Took my wife and her friends there for her birthday and it was awesome. Delicious food and drinks. Party of 9 with Military discount bill was only $210. I will definitely come back. Great choices for food. Their Shrimp Firecracker appetizer was amazing

This was my first trip to Rumba's. First let me say my food was delicious! I got the Coconut Rice Bowl with Grilled Grouper. Hubby got the Meatloaf and ate the Corn Muffins. He said the Corn Muffins were great and the meatloaf was good. Our server was GREAT and helped me to choose a Gluten Free option. I would have liked to see a list of GF options/items on the menu...but..I was very happy that the server was able to help me make the right choice.

We returned and we're not disappointed again! The moment we got here, we knew this would be special. The aroma of food was amazing. The hostess sat us, the wait staff took our drink order quickly, she explained several menu items, and we got our food so quickly we thought they had delivered someone else's order. It was spectacular. Great restaurant. We'll be back!

Great place! Server was very attentive and bantered with us; but never told us his name. Food was great for the price and a good variety of choices. If available, get the stone crab so worth it. Outside seating is surrounded by foliage so you feel somewhat private from the road. Live music also!

the decision to eat at Rumba came from constantly passing by it, hearing the music, seeing the people enjoying themselves etc but never actually stopping by ;So tonight we did. Emily was our server and she was great. She was attentive, fast on her feet , gave great recommendations, and made us feel comfortable with her knowledge of the menu. My parents really enjoyed their dinner, which is always a plus. We also loved the complimentary muffins that are first served to you while you’re waiting ☺️ Considering all things Rumba is in Clearwater, so if you love seafood this place has quite the variety for you! Including ongoing specials too. I gave this place three stars due to the prices and lack of vegetarian options. I had the veggie quesadilla, which was really a nice recommendation from our server Emily. I enjoyed it. It’s a whole vibe in their outdoor area with live music on select nights, outdoor heaters to keep you warm from the breeze, and cute dining tables and chairs to match the entire tropical theme. This place would be perfect for date night or even just meeting with friends or family.

AMAZING FOOD. Everything was on point! Server was great. There was Live music and all! Family friendly and it was just a vibe. We will DEFINITELY be coming to this restaurant when visiting again. ❤️

Now I know why this restaurant and bar is packed every time I drive by. We had a good time enjoying ourselves here. The hostess was friendly when we reserved our table, the waiter (Louis) was on top of everything, the music gave a good vibe, the drinks were good and the food was great. The cornbread definitely helped and held us over until our food arrived. I had the Rumba Trio 🍗🥓🍤, my wife loved the Seafood Lafitte 🐠🐟🦀🦐🍤, and my mother enjoyed the Montego Bay Half Chicken 🐓. My little ones had a kid’s cheeseburger 🍔 and pasta with butter 🍝. Afterwards they enjoyed ice cream sundaes🍨, while we enjoyed the Rumba Island Signature Libations🍹. Everything was good and the prices were very reasonable. We will be back again and again!

Rumba has been one of our favorites for years. Outside sitting with live music. You have an outside bar area, the atmosphere is great very tropical feeling. Food is awesome you have a wide variety if seafood is not your fancy then you can still find many great choices. The staff are pleasant and willing to accommodate. They have fans in the hot summer they also have heaters in the cold winter days. Make it a point to visit this great restaurant. You won’t regret it!

You can't drive down Gulf to Bay in Clearwater without noticing this pirate island bar. I feel bad that it's taken so long to actually try this place. Bloody Mary was made with ZING ZANG which is my favorite bloody base. I had the quiche (spelling). It was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I was a bit let down on the serving size as I wanted to order a second one after the first. Maybe I'm fat or maybe it was just that good. The atmosphere was as you would expect when pulling into the place. Very island vacation vibes, but the patrons and the bartender are what made the experience the best! Bartender (I forgot her name) had so much personality and made me want to come back. I will be back.

The food tasted good but as another reviewer said, there wasn't much in it, no rice and very little fish or scallops. My son was pleased with his dish and we sat at the bar and had good service there. I met a nice man next to me and had a great conversation. I may give another chance next time I'm down.

Reasonably priced excellent seafood. Must stop if you're hungry.... our server "Jarod 8" was perfection. The seafood is impeccable aND the pasta rasta is as on-point as it could be. Delish from the 1st bite to the last

Edit: After having brunch on Sunday I would like to recant my view on the food. The brunch was amazing! Everything cooked perfectly, our server was super nice, the food came out in good timing. They were busy but still attentive. Rumba is a cute place to go and enjoy with great outdoor seating. They play nice music and the drinks are really good, there’s always a special. Not a super fan of the food but the mama Maria mini muffins are so good.

I love this place , it has great food and drink specials . I don’t live in the area but I came a year ago and this weekend when I drove by I remembered it right away . So I made it a point to come back , it’s a great restaurant with a nice ambiance. The complimentary corn bread was delicious and so was the sea bass dish that I ordered . The two for one drink I ordered was good but couldn’t used a little more rum . You can’t complain because two drinks for under $9 is almost unheard of . Over all I love this place and will be back whenever I’m in the area . Definitely recommend.

Came to this restaurant right when it opened, the placed filled fast. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. I would recommend the Killer Hogfish Sandwich as I enjoyed it. So far this is my favorite restaurant in Florida.

Nice outdoor space with an outdoor bar and plenty of tables, surrounded by palm trees. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Beer is cold, mimosas are the perfect combo of bubbles and a squirt of OJ. The shrimp trio app, tuna nachos, coconut shrimp, fiesta salad and the stuffed snapper were flavorful and fresh. They also bring you out hot mini corn muffins with a spicy butter on them. Outdoor area is pet friendly, and there were 2 other tables with pups along with our senior boy at the bar in his cart. Plenty of umbrellas for shade during the day, and propane heaters for the cooler days/evenings. We've gone 3 times during our stay in Largo and highly recommend.

The price is affordable, the menu selection is great and they have two for ones drink specials everyday and at any time. The ambience was great with live music on some days. The Menu highlight is the hog fish sandwich and the Parmesan crusted oysters. Those oysters taste amazing and are priced great so this is a must try on the menu. Plenty Space for groups with no wait time even on a busy night so I definitely recommend this place.

We accidentally went to Rumba when it was “brunch” time and were initially disappointed that we couldn’t order off the regular menu but we were able to find something to satisfy our hunger. The muffins are a must! Just order a dozen when you sit down. I had the salad with grilled chicken and he had the steak and eggs. Our host was so pleasant and our server was decent. Just returned a month or so later to get a to-go order and I’m increasing my rating because the service was great and the food was good too. We had the Rasta pasta with grilled shrimp and Caribbean pulled pork. Bonus points for letting me sit with my puppy at the bar to eat a key lime pie while waiting for the to-go order!

Best meal I've had in a while! I ordered scallops as an app and they were happy to do that even though it was not on the menu! The lobster was superb! They even made grilled chicken for my fur baby❤️ staff was most excellent from seating to wait staff. Thank you! Will be back!

We had brunch here. I had the grouper sandwich that came with slaw. The slaw was great, btw. I order a side of fries. My only criticism is that they were so salty I didn't want them. My fiance ordered the grouper & shrimp omelet & it was yummy. The fish was cooked just right. Our waitress was very good. The mimosas were $2.99. Well, be back, that's for sure.

Our meals were delicious! Mahi was great! Service was average. Atmosphere, you would never know you were sitting on a main street. The music was also nice. We'll be back!

The outdoor dining and service was a very close second to the amazing food. Everything was delectable. Perfect for any day of the week. If you have not checked out Rumba, it would be a great idea to go today.
