The food is awesome and don’t be scared to get a small salad as it feeds 2 big grown adults and even has leftovers!

My friend and I come here once a week. We LOVE this restaurant. The staff know us & greet us when we arrive. Their portions are huge & the food is always so fresh & delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the amazing service/staff, the incredible food & the atmosphere. They treat us like family- this will continue to be a weekly tradition.

Husband loves their "small" chopped Greek salad, it's not small at all but delicious. All ingredients are fresh and yummy. I ordered the Tampa Cuban it was also good. Place is clean and staff is friendly.

WOW the manager Amber recommended the Tuscan chicken sandwich. The sandwich was unbelievably good! Everything I have ordered is fresh and delicious.. The next time you are in the Northwood area of countryside, give Pappas restaurant a try, I promise you will be glad you did.

I came in Sunday for the second time ! I must say I received the most exceptional service ! The young lady was very polite & truly made my day with those big eyes of hers and that beautiful smile. I watched her bring out all those orders, greet everyone, take care of me, make sure everything was correct and everyone was happy, she didn't forget to give me my receipt as well as ask about my day, and she took every order out expeditiously, as well as keeping that dining room spotless. I am outspoken, I admire her hospitality & attention to detail. She was the most friendly, interesting & accommodating, person there. Definite upgrade from a few months ago, I’d love to snag her from you if I could, she is a gorgeous, hidden gem to your restaurant ! A+++ keep up the great work & delicous food ! I will be back to dine-in very soon. ekpliktikós !

Greek Salad was superb !!! I got a chopped salad and enjoyed the seafood toppings and potato salad! Staff were helpful in helping me navigate the menu as it was my first time dining in with them, and were very friendly. I definitely will be returning for the amazing food and service! Amazing choice for the best salad ever. A man on the sponge boat said to go to Tampa for Louis Pappas Greek salad! It’s the original and the best! Manager Amber was so meticulous and helpful! She’s passionate about the service and food there! 5 star all the way!

Unfortunately, the chicken salad tasted so bland, the portion was a very small scoop on top of a lot of lettuce and diced tomatoes and no dressing. I asked for dressing, but it also tasted bland, very watery, no taste at all.

Love this place. Had the chicken spanakopita and it was delicious. My wife had a gyro and she said it was the best she's had in years.

I called and put a salad order in for pick up and called back 2 mins later to cancel as my family member had already called the order in that I was not aware of. I’m sure some people wouldn’t have even called back to cancel but having personally worked for the Pappas family, and working hospitality, I didn’t want the food cost waste. The man who answered both times was rude to begin with, when I apologized, he grunted, said “ok” and hung up on me. I’ve been ordering from Pappas my entire life growing up in Tarpon and this service with this man is just so rude. 11/24 at 2:25 so I hope Louis, Nancy or Luke can tear him a new one.

This place is family owned and has been around for years. It doesn't serve breakfast which I wish they did, lunch and dinner only. The food is very good and authentic as can be. This place sits next to a Starbucks so you can have coffee with there amazing Greek desserts. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat at a reasonable price.

Was not expecting my Spanacopita to be the way it was. Used to it being Spinach pie. But it was DELICIOUS and I think healthier.

I visited the McMullen Booth location on 11/25/23. Since I have food allergies, I contacted someone through email asking if I could eat at this location safely having both gluten and shellfish allergies. I was told yes and since I was visiting from out of state, I was very excited. Upon arriving at the restaurant that excitement disappeared quickly! There was absolutely NO ONE in the restaurant, yet I wasn't greeted AT ALL and had to yell for someone to recognize I had walked in -- Even though there was an employee at the grill. Finally an older man came out and while I tried to advise him of the emails exchanged and my food allergies before placing my order, he continuously dismissed what I was saying, speaking louder and louder to talk over me, encouraging me to place my order TO GO (as he did with a lady that came in about 10 minutes after I got there). I ordered a LARGE TRADITIONAL Greek Salad, he rang it up, quickly and then recapped, "Ok, a large CHOPPED salad no seafood", again I reminded him of my order. After I paid for my order, he tried to put bread in my bag, I reminded him sternly that I was allergic to bread!! I never once saw him put any gloves on. He acted as if he were doing me a favor. My salad was not what I had been dreaming off. Wilted shredded lettuce, mealy tomatoes, cucumbers that were mostly seed... my potato salad tasted like old mayo. It was not worth the $22 I paid for it. Even as I type this, the whole experience is just SAD. I expected better from the Pappas brand.

Actually very disappointed, chopped salad overpriced w/hardly any greek olives, mealy tomatoes, don't even think there was any feta then there's the huge stalk of scallion sitting on the top not cut or goes w/a greek salad. They put the potato salad on the bottom which was not expected, usually on top and the bread that came w/it was stale Italian bread - really for a greek salad! The falafel in the pita wrap was mushy consistency, and barely any onions or tomatoes, just sauce and falafel basically, barely ate it any of it. Worst falafel ever! It was my first and last time here.

First if all, we have been coming to LP for the last couple of years, every time we come anywhere near one of the restaurants. We absolutely, positive, unequivocally LOVE their salad!!! Partly what makes it so wonderful is the homemade potato salad inside. The dressing is simple, but excellent!! We order a large house Greek salad and there is little room for anything else. These salads might not be unique to this area, but totally different from anything we have ever had anywhere in the country. We have enjoyed some of the other items from time to time and they are really good. All we know is, there is nothing like what the Pappas family has created! Try it!!!

OK, they said these are the best salads in town & they weren't joking! I got the cranberry chicken & it was more than enough to eat for lunch and dinner, combined with the fact that the lettuce, veggies, & were all so crisp & fresh! One of the best salads I've ever had! Happy that this is near my work because I will definitely be back soon, for more! Thank you!!!

I hate to leave a bad review, but this was our second attempt to eat here. We seemed to be a bother to the cashier because we are unfamiliar with Greek food and there are not a lot of descriptions on their menu. I love a Greek salad but for the price, the tomato was of super poor quality, and little of it; there was a little bit of cucumber, they didn't drain their salad. So there was a puddle of water in the bottom... The potato salad was great. I will say that. That's how they earned the one star. As for the atmosphere, the music was a little loud for me, and it makes me feel super old even though I'm not. And the tables! All of them are very sticky because something is wrong with the finish-- to the point where I tore my napkin off of the table to use it. My friend didn't eat her meal at all because it was just so unappealing. We won't be back. We did not say anything about the condition of our food to management because the service we received upon ordering was so unwelcoming. Hopefully everyone else will have a better experience.

Walked in and orders take out. Was automatically charged a "tip" which I didn't discover until I was already home. If I had been seated and they had provided service I wouldn't object but to automatically charge me a top did waffling to and placing my order is "stolen" money in my eyes and although I love their did unless this changes I will never eat there again. Thievery didn't go over well with me. After writing this post I received a email from Nancy Pappas who very kindly told me if I could furnish the receipt she would take care of the matter. This incident occurred a couple of weeks ago and I don't know if I still have the receipt. I still contend I was automatically charged a tip of $1.70+ but cannot document it and it's such a small amount it isn't worth it to make the trip back to Northwood or I would have done so the same day. Per Nancy they DO NOT automatically charge tips but again although I can't document that I was charged the tip there is no question in my mind that I was. Either way after re- reading my initial post I find it was unnecessarily harsh and not truly reflective of this restaurant and its food. I am posting my response to Nancy about this review and the situation. Just to be very clear, Pappas' has amazing food that is fairly priced and the best Greek food around. I have been a fan forever and will go back, I'll just make sure I check my receipt before leaving. Nancy, Thank you for responding so quickly.  Unless the receipt is in my car I no longer have it.  I will have to check tomorrow.  To be fair,  if I can't find the receipt I will update my posting to accurately reflect this information.  It was only $1.70 or so but I truly felt it was unfair to be charged a tip when all I did was walk in and get my food then leave.  I have been a Pappas' fan forever, from way back when there was a small store off US 19 in the shopping plaza where Cody's Roadhouse used to be like in the 1990's, and if I didn't live in Dunedin I would have gone back to the site to ask why I was charged a tip but the gas cost just didn't make sense for such a low amount of money.  I was just outraged that a tip was added without even asking me. Pappas' potato salad is the ONLY potato salad I like.  Either way I'm big enough to admit my posting was perhaps a little harsh and not truly reflective of how I feel about your business. I ordered the trio of Mediterranean spreads and a pound of potato salad at a cost of $27 + change. Again thank you for such a fast response.

I was wondering around town when I saw this cute little restaurant. The manager gave me some delicious recommendations such as the Feta Brushetta and the Mojo pork. She was sweet and very helpful. I’m was so satisfied with the service and food! I will definitely be coming back.

We had lunch your restaurant. We were completely satisfied with our meal. It has been a very long time since we have been at the Tarpon Springs location. We now live in Sun City Center and drove here because we knew we could get a great Greek meal. We were not disappointed. Thank you. Marilyn and Jim Frey

Dirty Dining ( and not dirt cheap ) Our food for 3 came out separately over a period of 25 minutes - so we did not get to dine together. Every table was dirty that every diner had to clean off before eating. All of us were thinking if the place was visibly dirty - food prep area and the beverage dispensers probably were also dirty. Seemed no employee cared about cleanliness. We will not return.

Pappas used to be a 5++. Lenny the head chef always prepares outstanding meals!! There is now much variation in consistency and quality of the food and preparation. New employees in the kitchen are trying really hard but have a long way to go. Standard quality favorites used to be the cuban, chicken salad, flatbreads and famous Greek salad. The salad or gyro seems to be the best choice these days if one wanrs consistency. Two weeks ago I was served a flatbread and the flatbread was like a hard cracker..three different flatbread products used the past few months. I really want to love Pappas again.

Incredibly disappointed!NOT up to Pappas standards!Went Sunday at 1230 for lunch. We ate here last week and food was amazing so we came back and expected the same. Wrong! The girl at the register spoke so softly it was hard to hear her. We ordered chicken Souvlaki and Gyro and 2 order of Dolmathes. Chicken was bland no salt or seasoning whatsoever was dry rubbery no Greek seasoning. Didn't taste Greek they forgot our 2 orders of Dolmathes I jwaites 10 min and went to counter they said it takes 20 min for Dolmathes. NOoo I'm Greek and I have catered they are pre done and just need reheating they forgot. Dolmathes we're bland to much tomato which was overtaking the flavor of grape leaves. Also the avgolemeno was cold

Missing items in our large order and they would not help at all! I ordered through a delivery company ( which they say this is 3rd company so they won't do anything) Said not our problem driver stole the items. I'm sorry they would steal dressing, chicken and spankopita?? Don't think so! I spoke with the general manager and he said he would not help this is not our fault and would not fix the problem. This is crazy we did pay you and you did not deliver what we ordered. This should have been fixed instead of me having to call the delivery company to try and remedy the situation. Worst customer service EVER!

Visited recently with husband Sam Galanis and a friend. SUPERB!! Especially great were the Pappas Greek Salad and the Tuscan Chicken sandwich! Manager Amber was extremely helpful in helping us navigate the menu. I don't know how they do it for the price they charge.
