Came back again and oh wow just soooo good!!! Brought a friend and she loved it , too. We will be back! Highly recommend any steak he makes. First time review: We ordered a filet, mango ribeye, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and fried squash. Every bite was amazing! Steaks cooked to perfection! Can't give enough accolades for the food! The wait staff are pleasant and Jimmie was fun to talk to for a few quick moments. We will be back!

Instantly greeted with a warming welcome. Jimmie's had an elegant jazzy atmosphere and we were immediately was made to feel comfortable. Our waitress Vie was extraordinary and helped us with advice on the menu and what good options there were. Jimmie even came out multiple times and spoke with us, he was relaxed and treated his staff in a family-like manner. The food was amazing and well worth the price. My friend and I ordered the Quail and a stuffed portabella mushroom. I really appreciated my whole experience here and Vie was on top of everything! We even recieved an extra complimentary dish on the house! Definitely recomend this place!

Jimmie's was a very pleasant surprise. We visited on steak night and the food was prepared perfectly to order. If you are ever passing through Cleburne, you should definitely check this restaurant out.

Cute place, creative food! We had the squash fries, spinach dip and pork chop with portobello pasta. For dessert we had fried pound cake.... It was all great. You can BYOB, and the place has a great atmosphere. There is no other restaurant like this in Cleburne!

Holy cow what an amazing meal! Look if you can't be patient and wait for perfection you don't need to eat here. The menu is told to you like a secret club and not to mention the atmosphere is like a speakeasy. Jimmie is it. He is the cook and his wonderful wife is your waitress. I love coming here because it's like you are eating in your own private club with friends. Jimmie even takes the time to come out and see how the food is. I highly recommend getting a smorgasbord of everything just so you can try all the flavors

AMAZING FOOD, lovely atmosphere, and polite staff. My coworkers and I went here for dinner and everything we ordered was spectacular appetizers, entrées, and desserts. Jimmie came and talked to us after cooking our meal. He has that special touch with food. Delicious!

BY FAR the best restaurant in Cleburne! We’ve never been disappointed with a meal we’ve had there- even my picky husband raves about this place to all of our friends. I’m so glad we finally have a place that actually serves a Sunday brunch menu- not just classic breakfast. There’s always friendly staff & Jimmie usually makes his way around to talk to everybody as well if he gets a break in the kitchen. In addition, they have been amazing during this pandemic- cooking wonderful, inexpensive family meals & even leaving free meals for people to pick up. Support your small local businesses so we don’t lose them! ❤️

Ordered my steak medium rare and it came out close to well done and chewy, my wife did not want to send it back so I finished it. If I ever go back hopefully they will be able to distinguish well done and rare, not a fan of the seeds in the grapes in the fruit salad. The best thing I had was the squash fries. The wife said the salmon was very good. Wait staff was what I would expect and I left a nice tip. Overall I was quite disappointed for paying $24 for a steak and not cooked to order.

Best steak we have had in years, perfectly cooked! Very relaxed atmosphere, almost like having a private chef. Unique appetizers like the squash straws and fried ribs are delightful!

I'm in town for work and wanted to try a place near my hotel. I read the reviews and knew I had to check it out. The T-bone and Brussel sprouts that Jimmie cooked were absolutely phenomenal. It was by far the best dinner that I've ever had in Cleburne or anyplace nearby. I will go back there every time that I'm in town.

Amanda and Jimmie were both amazing. Ordered fried ribs and the garlic butter filet. Recommend getting the squash as a side! 11/10 experience, if you’re in Cleburne, do yourself a favor and stop by this awesome restaurant.

If you like the standard menu options, this is not the place for you. This is a real chef making unique dishes with fresh ingredients. Go early, fresh means when the ingredients run out, that's it... dinner has been served.

This place is AMAZING. Such a refreshing take on food. I'd say for the price you're paying, this is the BEST food in the DFW area. I love me some BBQ, but the dish I had here blew my expectations out of the water. I sincerely hope this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves and all of the business it deserves. I met the owner/chef and he was so friendly and humble. I like what this organization is doing. The only thing that makes me sad is that it's not in the Dallas area because I'm not sure when I'll be back in Cleburne. I'm hoping that this team is successful enough to open more locations and provide this great experience in more areas. I'll remember this experience for the rest of my life - no exaggeration.

This is my favorite place to eat in Cleburne. Not far from home but a restaurant that is far from the normal in Cleburne. The food and atmosphere are upscale although the prices to not reflect it. The menu changes periodically so you don’t get tired of the choices. They now have their liquor license and make great drinks with a small but good quality wine selection. Jimmie and his wife are very nice and professional. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!

I had stuffed croissants and hubby had the pork pot pie and both were excellent. Thanks Jimmie and your crew.

Finally went to Jimmies Restaurant for brunch. This place has a cool vibe: jazz music playing, interesting art, and great food. This place would be comfortable in an urban setting, but glad Cleburne has it. The food is a product of an owner/chef establishment.

An undiscovered great lunch place! Not sure why, the food is good! They are on Facebook where they will soon be posting their fall menu. Check it and them out. Real, healthy food folks!

We have grown to love this place and if the amazing food doesn't have you hooked at first bite, the atmosphere and staff are just as incredible. Don't wait around until all this is over call and make and order this week you won't be disappointed.

We had a rehearsal dinner for my son and his bride to be at Jimmie’s last night and we cannot rave enough about the food, the gracious service, the intimate atmosphere - simply everything. The steaks melted in our mouths, the salmon was delicious, the pasta was fabulous! Jimmie and Amanda were so accommodating and personable. They made our special event even more memorable. ❤️

The food was INCREDIBLE. The atmosphere is bougie but not judgemental jazz, the chef came out to speak with the guests and was very personable. The service by Vi, the waitress never slipped once. She was always quick to help, clear a plate or fill a glass. Not too busy, worth every penny, and never lacking. 10/10 already plan on coming here again. Ps. Perfect place for a date. Pps. The chef also blessed us with a take-home of extra food. Amazing place .

The absolute best brunch I think I've ever had. The food is delicious, drinks were great and all the staff were so nice. I can't wait to try dinner soon! It is a must visit restaurant if ever in Cleburne, or totally worth the drive.

Everytime we go me and my husband get something different and share and we are never disappointed. All of the food is delicious. The service is friendly. In a historic downtown building the atmosphere is cozy and warm. We love this place my only complaint is they are always out of the waffles! Only because I can assume they are just that good!

This place is so awesome and the owner Jimmie is a fabulous cook! And thirsty and hungry on a sunday..finding out they were open and discovering what a good thing he has here! The food was amazing! I ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta during the Coronacation and it could have fed a small army. It was SO good. This place has some of the BEST FOOD IN JOCO.

Eaten there a couple of times the past two weeks. Bacon spinach dip is awesome. The pot roast burger and the rib sandwich are both wonderful with large servings. Great local vibe!! Highly recommended.

Dropped by Sunday at 12:30 pm and only 1 person was eating. We should have left. I had chicken and waffles. Both were over cooked. Gravy for the chicken tenders would have been good. My wife had a breakfast burger which was dry and over cooked. You live and learn. Friendly people working there which was for the second star.

Absolutely loved my stuffed baked potato. It had the best cooked chicken on it with broccoli and cheese!! Absolutely delicious! Just wish i had gone in sooner before today. Cant wait to go back! Luckily i work down the street.

The food was so great I mean the meatloaf, mash, oh in fried cabbage is somethung I never had and for the first time I tried it and feel in love the atmosphere was amazing I also tried Jimmie's new pineapple drink delicious. I'll be back for more to try out I give my 5 star for some home style cooked food.

The customer service was AMAZING!!! The hometown feel resonates in a positive atmosphere. I came for lunch and the food was SUPERB!!!! The sauce and seasonings blended so well to give a savoring flavor. Absolutely what my taste buds needed!!

We ate Jimmies for the first time last week. We had the mashed potatoe bowls, the hubs had the beef I had the chicken. We were amazed at how delish they were . The combination was above and beyond what we expected. So glad Cleburne has this as a take out option during this shelter at home time

Super delicious and really great experience. Better place for a romantic date than a night with whole family. Chef/owner was very nice, knowledgeable, and welcoming. We will totally go back, but it's pricey so be sure to budget on $30-$50/person. We dont regret the experience at all. Leaving the kids at home will more than pay for sitter and pizza compared to having them join you.

We came in from out of town and this place did not disappoint!!! My husband and I had the perfect date night here. Starting from wines to dessert everything was top notch and we felt lucky to find the special spot. Loved the friendly staff and most importantly amazing food!!

My son and I accidentally came across this amazing restaurant while passing through Cleburne one night. This place would be the perfect date night place to go or any other occasion. The atmosphere and vibe were great. I loved the music they played and the staff were professional and friendly. The food was incredible. We had this stuffed mushroom with crab, which we savored like a fine wine, slowly enjoying every bite. Then we had the most mouth-watering steak, creamed spinach, salmon, and asparagus. I've had a lot of steak and salmon, but both were taken to a new level of amazing. After that, we could not resist finding out what the chef would do with the dessert, so we had the caramelized pound cake with strawberries and fresh amazing whip cream. It was one of those meals I will never forget because it was so exceptional. It was quite a happy accident. Honestly, if I met a chef who could cook like that, I would marry him. It's a small limited menu that changes, but I would trust the chef's judgment. I'm sure everything there is amazing.

We enjoyed date night here tonight. The vibe is unique and easy going. I loved it. Our bacon wrapped sausage with goat cheese and apricot preserves was a great start. My grilled broccoli was the best I’ve had. No complaints on anything. We had a filet, bison sirloin, garlic pasta and side salad as well. We finished with the lemon blueberry cake. And to our surprise it was lite and not overly sweet (which I’m totally fine with). Go support this local quaint restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. To top it off, it was nice meeting Jimmie!

Our waitress has been incredible every time we've had dinner there. I wish I could remember her name because she transforms the menu into an experience. She completely knows the menu and wine pairings and has been so helpful helping us decide which wines and sides would pair the best. Jimmie's is amazing! We had seared tuna in a giant salad as an appetizer along with the most amazing grilled lamb ribs with an amazing glaze. Next, I had baked halibut and my bf had the tomahawk with a garlic butter. His was a perfect medium. My halibut was cooked perfectly. Last time I had the seabass with truffle butter and it was the best fish I've ever had. I'd highly recommend that. Seriously incredible. We stayed for cake the first time from Moms kitchen which is inside Jimmie's and this time took cake to go. My daughter and friend ate it so fast because it is absolutely delicious. I had white cake with chocolate frosting last time and it was the best cake I've ever had!

Came here with my office staff for Christmas party for the first time! Food was very delicious- I had a Glazed Salmon dish with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts! Props to the cook and his restaurant staff! Definitely will be back!

Outstanding food in a very cool building with a stylish/cozy/romantic feel. A chef's menu with good variety and high quality. The sides and starters are good enough to dine on as a meal. Portion sizes are very generous. They have an in-house bakery for deserts too!

This is the most amazing food. I have not had anything I havent enjoyed. To die for. Would definitely recommend this place.

If no stars could be given. We sat in the restaurant for 20 minutes before the waitress/hostess asked if we knew what we wanted because the menu is on their Facebook page, being this was a first time visit we did not know that and it was not told to us when seated. We ordered a Moscow mule, asked for the check. As we are leaving she asked if everything was okay, the chef/cook came out and she says to him “we’re good, they’re leaving and it’s just the regulars.” Underwhelmed to say the least.

I just walked in the morning and see they sell baked till sold out, then I come in buy. I hope someday I will try their steak too

The food is delicious and the personal service is second to none! I highly recommend the Glazed Salmon and Chicken Fried Chicken. Eat in or pick up, the food is hot and tasty!! Give Jimmie's a try. I assure you, you'll be totally satisfied!

Food was fresh and fun, can't say enough about flavor. Veggies had some of the most awesome flavors, the pork and meatloaf were spectacular. We will be going back.
