Many
old
Carnegie
Libraries
such
as
this
are
wonderful
historical
treasures
in
and
of
themselves.
For
some
communities,
the
limited
space
became
too
restrictive
as
the
towns
grew
and
they
were
replaced
with
bigger
libraries.
Fortunately,
some
have
been
preserved
and
are
being
utilized
as
history
museums.
This
one
is
fantastic!
The
collection
has
been
curated
well
in
telling
a
story
of
people
of
area
and
providing
representations
of
how
they
lived.
Some
items
are
not
as
localized,
but
are
representative
of
people
identified
with
the
expansionism
of
the
19th
century.
One
such
item
is
a
saddle
that
had
belonged
to
Kit
Carson.
Check
this
place
out.
It's
good
for
young
and
old.
It's
free.
It
won't
take
you
but
maybe
an
hour
to
peruse.
Then,
reward
yourself
with
a
burger
at
the
nearby
Burger
Bar.
