OK starting with Byron Stewart Park was name on sign. See photo... now we took Rowdy on his outing there. He loved it. Not a lot of people but, enough to be able to walk and not worry about someone wanting to pet dog, yell at kids or PSA People (you know who you are....lol). There are pavillion, soccer goals, trails, walking paths, picnic tables and more. Geese and duck didn't run after us looking for food or to attack us or dogs. Means we haven't ruined them by chasing, feeding, scaring, hunting or other things. It was a really peaceful day. Love this park. I think you will too. It is a place you can go with family, friends or by yourself to relax, reflect or exercise. People were fishing, jogging, picnicking, playing with pets, playing with family, and BBQing. so, try to have a great time in anything you choose to do there. Remember please to keep it clean, cleanup after your pets, and have a blessingly GREAT time.

Broken Benches. Trash. Hasn't been updated in years. Shouldn't be considered a park because of the lack of facilities. The City If Cleburne needs to do something about this so called park. Restrooms, Playgrounds, allow and encourage food trucks and a snow cone stand during the spring, summer and early fall.

Not the best fishing experience since there was a lot of bugs flying around and bothering you but overall it's fine.

It's a great place to take family fishing, and just go and relax, and we feed the ducks

Very nice park! It has lots of tall trees, so there's tons of shade along the river part. There is also a nice walking path that goes around most of the park. It's also a great birding hotspot, especially during migration.

Been a great spot for fishing and taking the family for years! The city does a good job of keeping the park clean and providing trash cans, unfortunately some people can't manage to pick up their trash. We usually take a trash bag for our stuff and try to pick up some extra along the way. Also a great place to take family pictures. The best place to waste a morning or afternoon under huge old oak trees.

I love the setup. Nice open area. Paved paths and places to fish. Restrooms would be a nice addition though.

Great place to relax, unwind or fish the river banks. Olenty of Bicycle trails too. Watch out for the resident geese as they like to chase humans as they protect their territory...lol

Nice little park right off the beaten path. Looks like it would be a great place to let your dog run.

Not sure if this park is called Buddy Stewart or Byron Stewart but the photos of the old historic buildings are from across the highway over at the Chisholm Trail Outdoor Museum. This park does have lots of picnic tables and open space for gatherings but there are no bathrooms or portapotties anywhere. There are some great fishing spots but no fish. Guess they've all been caught. During my visit I saw trash on the grounds and had my path blocked by some hungry and cranky geese. So if you go to this park just be sure to bring a roll of toilet paper and some bread for those geese. #Cleburne

Is very big has different areas for picnic, fishing, outdoor activities. Be aware if your going with kids I saw two snakes roaming the area maybe they are unharmful but just be advised

Good quiet place to go to drop a fishing line. Can't stay more than a couple of hours (no bathroom facilities). Would not go alone (I'm female), looked like several homeless people living there in their vehicles. I'm okay with it, everyone needs someplace to live just can't be sure of people nowadays.

Had a great time with the grandkids. Showed them how to build a flat rock bridge to span from one sand bar to another. They loved it.

It's a good place to go to get away and fish for the bank. The only thing I disagree with it is where you have to park it's a long walk from your vehicle but a nice shaded place with the trees good place to take your dogs for a walk to

It was peaceful and a nice little escape from the hustle and bustle. The park was clean despite a lot of cigarette butts.

Nice walking park and a relaxing place to fish. My only complaint is that the mosquitoes can be overwhelming. It would be great if the city would spray for them a couple of times through the summer. Especially one like we've had this year with so much rain.

Not much to the park, it's a little run down but it's quite and their is a lot of room to let you dogs run.
