Close to everything and great service. Everyone at the Liberty Hotel was friendly and warm. They would drop everything when you walked in and run to the desk to serve your needs. Everything was clean and tidy.

The staff were all excellent and customer focused. The hotel was a delightful departure from chain hotels. It had a step back to gentilly ambience in the rooms as well as modern features of a mini refrigerator and coffee maker. There was a microwave by the floor's ice machine. The shower was wonderful, large with a sitting ledge. There were inconveniences. The roller mechanism on the beautiful thick french pleated curtains did not work but you could roll them up and prop them halfway up the window. At night they were excellent at blocking out light! The deadbolt worked but the flip lock needs to be replaced. It still felt very safe. I look forward to finding more of the Ascend hotels.

Check-in at 11PM was HORRIBLE. If you're checking in late, and I don't consider 11PM late, I suggest you find another hotel. Certainly don't want to bother staff to check-in. Too much detail for a post but it was ridiculous. Rooms are great. It's a lovely hotel. I've stayed here before but they really need new staff for check-in .... at least evenings.

Wow! Best stay we have ever had! Thank you to the sweet lady that checked us in, Kristal(i think). Every single staff we had contact with were very friendly and respectful! We will drive 6 hours again just to stay here and no other reason!!

Everyone there is so nice and friendly and helpful. Room is great. I've only had breakfast a couple times, they have real plates and real coffee cups and real silverware. Very very nice

This place is awesome. Right in downtown. They give you suggestions on the small businesses around that are amazing and within walking distance! The hotel is beautiful. I stayed here instead of the corporate competitors and I am so happy with my choice.

What’s not to like. Sort of an historic looking hotel that is very well kept. They have thought of everything including ear plugs, robes, makeup wash cloth, water bottles etc. the room rates are extremely affordable. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Come see a show at the Plaza and stay at the Liberty!

Magnificent and Charming! Not only is the property beautiful, you’re in walking distance to shopping, antique malls, diners, theaters, a candy store, coffee shop, nutrition drinks, bakeries and so much more. The Hotel hosts were delightful and the room was spacious and cozy.

Nathan and his staff were wonderful. The rooms were beautiful. My sons and their wives had a wonderful stay for my oldest son's wedding. Centrally located in downtown Cleburne with shopping, restaurants and a coffee house within walking distance.

I visited Cleburne a week ago and stayed at this beautiful historic hotel. Great customer service, clean rooms and decent but light breakfast. I especially like the fact that the manager picked me up at the train station. The only thing I would do is get a new coffee maker in room. Thank you all for making my stay a great one.

This was an amazing stay. The staff and the manager Nathan were great! The rooms were clean. If you want a true Texas experience in a historical Texas hotel this is it. It is literally a two minute walk to antique stores, the theater and restaurants.

This place is really nice inside. Renovated and very modern, but it still feels like an old historic hotel. They did a good job. Very clean. Excellent service at the front desk (they even found and returned a pillow we left in the room at checkout). I'll definitely seek this place out in the future and choose it over all the other local hotels.

Hotel really nice, Kendra the manager is one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. They charged my card 3 x and refused to do anything about it and threatened to call the cops because she was yelling at me!!! Real manager doesn't come in til Wednesday so no one could help me. Then to make matters worse she refused service to me and when i called she hung up the phone. Just be prepared to have to deal with her if u stay here. Definitely don't recommend!!! There's nicer cheaper places if u have to stay in Cleburne

The Liberty Hotel is the best Cleburne hotel! It's right in the heart of downtown Cleburen, so it's perfect for guests traveling for weddings at all the local venues like Union House, Chisholm Trail Rustic Venue, Hilltop Barn, The Barn at Watson Ranch and is even less than 2 blocks from The Space! The owners are wonderful, the place is beautiful and the location can't be beat. Highly recommend!!

The liberty is a historic boutique hotels with warm and inviting charm. Although we have never stayed there, we have rented rooms to host events, the most recent being for a baby shower. It is a great alternative for an event that you should consider. If you come during the summer you may get a chance to see some professional baseball players, as the Liberty is the host hotel for out of town teams when they come to play the Cleburne Railroaders.

We used to love going to Liberty. In fact in the past 2.5 years (even during the Covid debacle) it was a pleasant experience and we looked forward to returning. We have probably stayed 8 or 9 times. This last time was by far the worst. They have put some kind of motion sensor on the A/C (or either we were in a room that had this.) All through the night one of us had to get up and walk around in order for the A/C to come on! We were both hot, tired, and unable to sleep. It sucked. Paying for a night away, one would expect it to be pleasant - I gave them 2 stars because every other time we had a good experience. If all of their rooms are this way, we will never stay there again. I went to the front desk to ask and there was no one there - but there was a sign giving a number to call to reach them. I called the number, but there was no answer - just a recording. When we checked out, we put our keycards in a box, there was still no one there.

Really nice place with a bit of history and amazing architecture. Bed was too soft for my liking, and no fridge in room (hence 4 stars), but the room was clean. 24 hour coffee and tea available in lobby. Definitely haunted but not in a bad way (heavy spots, feeling of being watched, one room has a electromagnetic field which you can actually feel with your hand...didn't get an evp, but did hear voices my camera didn't pick up and got a strange static sound on a video).

This is a awesome hotel from 1924! It was remodeled in 2009 but still has that old time feel. Right in downtown cleburne there are plenty of shops and eatery's near by within walking distance.

Avoid at all cost! Stole my money! Only one hour into my room I was told to vacate the property because one of my employees called the hotel number to attempt to get a lost room key and management did not appreciate her calling after midnight so they threatened to call the police. All this happened while I was in the shower so as the not came on my door I had no option by management but to leave the property! Not just have my helper moved but me as well though I did not do a thing to them. My help is an adult and can very easily be removed for her own actions without me being removed as well!

The staff at this hotel is fabulous. We had an issue with the room we were in and after we reported it to the manager it was dealt with promptly and with care. They moved us to another room and to our surprise it was an upgrade. Kudos to the manager and staff for the prompt resolution of the issue you folks are the greatest.
