Our favorite coffee shop in the area! From the delicious baked goods to the wonderful staff to, of course, the delicious coffee. We come here as often as possible! The honey lavender latte is my fave ❤️

Amazing. Fresh ground coffee. Absolutely delicious lemon blueberry pastry... not pictured because it didn't stand a chance once we sat down.

Tried mug on the square. Had the maverick, the Batman, the Avatar and the shaken white mocha. They were all delicious. Will be coming back. Has a great vibe, very inviting, baristas are very friendly. It was a chill little spot.

Found this coffee shop and it’s delicious, worth the drive. I order one of their monthly specialty coffees (oat latte) it was perfect and delicious pastries to pair your coffee with. The aesthetic is so cute too.

This is a nice, little coffee shop. They have lots of seating and good space for playing board games. We had the honey lavender latte and it was great!

Quaint local craft coffee shop with unique flavors and drinks. Great seasonal hot and cold varieties. I love to stop in for a quick coffee or enjoy a Honey Lavender Latte. They also have food for breakfast and lunch as well as coffee by the bag.

* revised review * ownership did respond to my concern regarding lack of friendliness with some of the staff (not all). I had a better experience today than previous couple of visits. The product is great, and the atmosphere is cozy & quiet in a good way. The service is a work in progress but trending in the right direction. Friendliness and warmth is the next step.

I just started college and love the mini frost . But I really wish they have more flavors like seasonal. Even though they do deserve a 5 star rating. I will be coming by as a study area.

The staff is super friendly and nice. The atmosphere is wonderful as well. I spent about 8ish bucks with tip for this coffee and a plain bagel. It was well worth the price. If you get a chance to check them out definitely would suggest it! Great place to grab a cup of coffee and chat with a friend! 😊

Such a cute little place! Stopped in on our way through town from Granbury heading to Conroe. We will definitely stop again next time we’re in the area. Sweet gals working, excellent cold brew, and delicious pastries..a true trifecta! Keep it up y’all.

Really big fan of this coffee house. Happened to stumble upon it while in the area and I’m so glad I did. Black coffee is really my only coffee of choice because it allows the character of the bean to come out and be experienced. That being said, I was a little thrown off when their only drip option was flavored. Anyhow, the staff was so accommodating by offering an americano alternative. I was pleasantly surprised how with how their Americano retained so much character from the espresso that’s is so often lost in over roasting and improper pulled shots. While sitting in the cafe I took some time to research the building and found that it was constructed in 1900 which just adds even more amazing character to the experience here at Mug on the Square. Thank y’all for bringing such great energy into the space. Definitely will be back

The staff at The Mug are always friendly and welcoming! The atmosphere is so cute; great for meeting up with friends or bringing a laptop and working. The pastries are SO good, especially love the scones. This is one of my favorite hometown spots!

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Cleburne. The drinks were good and the building is very unique. The honey lavender drink was excellent. It looks like they had breakfast sandwiches, but did not get one. They had your typically pastries bagels, muffins, cookies, etc.

It’s everything I’d want in a coffee shop—a cozy atmosphere, comfy seating, unique and tasty drinks—in the most surprising of places. Never thought Cleburne would have the cutest coffee shop around! The staff was super nice, and Brooke was a joy to talk to! Can’t wait for this to become a regular hangout spot for us.

Left a 4 star review when they 1st opened, now several years later, I'm very happy to reconsider. This place is easily one of the best coffee shops in DFW area. How lucky are we to have it here? Cool seasonal drinks, yummy food, super friendly & chill staff, why go anywhere else? Cheers!

Lots of options for coffee, both hot and cold. A good amount of indoor seating with some outdoor seating as well. Staff is kind and polite. I usually get a hot chocolate when I go there. Would definitely recommend that to anyone who doesn't need as much caffeine. They also have a number of baked goods now (like muffins and scones).

Shaken white mocha was amazing! Staff had good recommendations, vibe was nice, and area was clean and comfy. It's a nice mix up from the regular Starbucks. They had good breakfast snacks/pastries. Service was quick and pleasant.
