Beautiful view, lovely atmosphere, and it is very close to Bristol. You can take X5,X6 and X7 to there. There are lots of Ice-cream shops, restaurant. I really suggest to go if you never been there. :)

What a fantastic location. Good place to swim, sunbath or just relax listening to the ocean. Plenty of seating close by for your picnics. Park area close by for the kids to play. Beautiful walks along the sea front and the sunsets here are amazing if you are still here at the end of the day to enjoy them. Just a short walk further on to a lovely pier. Recommend visiting.

First visit to Clevedon as far as I recall. Lovely little place. Beaches fairly muddy at low tide, more sandy near prom with ridges of rocks heading out into the Bristol Channel. Promenade, kiosks, one small amusement arcade and fabulous pier. Lovely sea filled lake at one end for paddleboarding and swimming makes up for muddy beaches somewhat.

Such a great place to cool off. The marine lake is a fantastic place to go for a dip or take the paddle boards. There's also some fantastic coffee shops, bistros and restaurants down towards the beautiful victorian pier.

A beautiful beach with stunning views of the surroundings. On a bright sunny day like the day I went, you could see Cardiff and Newport!! The pier is also beautiful and well kept. It is a Victorian jewel. The majority of the beach surface is covered with stone not sand. And don’t go near the waterfront unless you have more than 1 person with you as the mud, said by a warning sign is β€˜sinking mud’. Overall it’s a nice place

Lovely rocky beach with plenty of rock pools to explore. Can get muddy due to it being a tidal river estuary, so care needed with children and families. It's worth avoiding in winter if high tide as river Mud can be extremely dangerous and definitely not for walking on. On plus side, a lovely Victorian pier has been carefully restored, with beautiful views on a clear day over to Wales and lundy Island. Easy drive from Bristol and m5 and great cafes and a few pubs with seafront views ideal to relax and unwind.

Great little place. Lovely pier with a nice coffee room at the end. The beach had lots to explore, with fossils and crabs. Hill Road has lots of nice cafes and restaurants. We went on a bit of a whim and glad we did.

Really nice little seaside strip, you have a natural swimming pool which is free and opened all year long just by the sea. Great place for families and those wanting a little escape from city life!

Amazing beach and Marine Lake. It's pebbles rather than sandy but we had fun building stone beacons and hunting for fossils and quartz instead. On a sunny day I don't think there are many prettier seaside towns anywhere in the UK.

lovely place to walk, not really a sitting on or bathing beach as so rocky, though a hardy few do swim from there regularly .Really good Prom.amd lovely cafes just opposite. Great to stroll up the pier too.

Lovely seaside town. Don't know why they need to charge so much to walk on the pier surly if it was a Β£1 you would get everyone on there instead of no one.

Delightful pebbly beached Victorian resort. Beautiful pier. Easy access of the beach. Lots of pebbles for throwing into the sea, building cairns etc. Good seafront walks. Clean. Family friendly. Plenty of places for a snack or a meal. The drawback - loads of mud at lower tide times.

This is a lovely area to explore...The beach itself because of the location near the Avon estuary has a lot of silt around and the sea is a sandy brown colour, there is know actual sand but pebbles and rocks.. Nevertheless there are plenty of lovely coastal walks, plus the lovely restored Victorian pier to visit...A very nice little place...πŸ‘

It's a rocky beach, in a decent little picturesque seaside town with nearby pubs and restaurants. Kids loved messing about on the ancient rocks.

Small beach, but very pretty and great views of Wales. You also get a great view of Cleveland pier. Great for rock pooling, but isn't very sandy if that's what you're looking for.

I learnt to walk here as a toddler 😜. Clevedon is my birthplace. You see the most incredible sunsets here. None are ever the same. There's always photographers snapping away! Beautiful whatever the weather. This is a real treasure, suitable for all ages. Family love visiting here. Walking, eating ice cream and kicking a football around. What's not to like? However the parking situation isn't great. Cyclists don't see the tiny 'no cycling' signs. So they weave in and out around walkers, tots, pushchairs, wheelchairs and the elderly with walking frames along the promenade, rather than use the dedicated cycle lane leading into the main road.

Fascinating town of substantial Victorian gothic housing brown seas and stoney shoreline. Good walks, tricky parking but still possible. Great Asian pop-up in the park above the pier.

This is a nice beach in this lovely town, Clevedon. There is a pier and some good restaurants where you can have a coffee or lunch. There is path to Portishead. It is worth discovering from Bristol for a-day trip .

Clevedon was quite a surprise to me. All I remember from a previous visit was the bandstand πŸ€£πŸ˜‚. It has a nice waterfront with attractions and a sea lido with boating activities. The pub right on the sea front The little Harp is gorgeous

Not typical sandy beach very muddy and stoney but the waters lovely, views are just stunning and lots of things to do. Nothing beats seaside chips and it wasn't to crowded. Plenty of places to eat and parking was easy once we figured out the Mipermit app. Maybe download before you go as signal for Vodafone wasn't great around the carparking areas or make sure you have some change.

Well Clevedon was a surprise. What a lovely little place.. it was a very calming place to visit. We definitely will be back. Shop staff so friendly and helpful. It's a place we never would have thought of going. I picked up a leaflet at the information centre at Burnham on sea.. Looking forward to going back.

Only my second time there. First time was a walk on the pier this time was a walk on the sea road. A most attractive place would love to go again and perhaps go swimming in the wonderful sea pool.

Lovely historic pier. Known for pop videos and TV like One Direction & Coast. Β£3.50 entry (each). You must go to 'The Glass Box' restaurant. Great location and variety of food from Breakfast deal to Fish and Chips.

Beautiful location for a stroll along the front. Plenty of parking available at the seafront or at the far end in a bigger space. The coast is facing west so you get a beautiful sunset view. Restaurants and toilets also available midway along the sea front.

Not the prettiest beach but lovely area to visit. Parking limited to 4 hours on main road. A few disabled spaces nearer to pier. A few eateries on main street.

I like going there for a little walk around the marina late and a promenade. My son loves there. Good place on the beach for kids to play on the rocks to explore. All facilities there from the public toilets though the places to grab coffee and food on the go or dine in at the pub near by.

A lovely walk around the sea front and more walks further afield. Was very busy when we went so it wasn't the easiest to find a parking space. Not the most dog friendly place (altho there were plenty of people with dogs- including us) but as long as you keep to the promenade at Clevedon, with your dog on the lead you won't go far wrong.

Not exactly the Indian ocean but definitely a great spot for ice cream on a sunny day, or to take an evening walk to clear your head and get some very fresh air. Also a great spot for seeing Whales.. I mean Wales

A great place with beautiful views. The additional space for swimming as a swimming pool is a great idea I think there should be more of them in the seaside resorts. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the lack of access to the toilet, possibly temporary

A lovely spot at any time of year, plenty of local places to find something to eat or drink and a short way from Hill Road with many options. Photos are a sunny autumn day, the pier is worth a visit, reclaimed from ruin by public subscription.
