Great atmosphere. Food was well cooked and brought out in a timely fashion. Couldn’t beat the lamp chops! They were so delicious with the mustard that was rubbed on each piece. Our table of 10 loved our night out on the town with a nice stop here in Little Italy. Music was a bit loud for our taste but classy. Otherwise, would have been a perfect.

What an absolute gem!! Went while visiting my son at CWRU and had my parents along. Exceptional old school Italian food- vibrant flavors, attention to details, generous portions and exceptional service from the whole team and particularly Luanne, our server. We started with sausage stuffed hot peppers with house made sausage, meatballs- truly delicious, and fantastic fried calamari. I love meatballs and these were some of the best I've had in a long time. Entree was the Veal Toscano- tender Veal cutlet in an egg batter with a very rich lemon butter wine sauce. It was spectaular!! We also got Gnocchi that was so delicious and garlic with the olio e aglio sauce. The owner Angelo runs an amazing place and the chef is truly gifted. My 88 year old father said it was the food of his youth, being from New Jersey. He was blown away by its outstanding quality. We all can't wait to go back. And as a bonus the price point is incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!!!!!! Why did I wait so long to try this place??? I have been coming to Little Italy 🇮🇹 for years!!! Definitely need reservations. Atmosphere is beautiful, comfy chairs, excellent service. Our waitress was excellent and so were the others assisting. The bar is very pretty, love the lower lighting. Definitely looked like a perfect place for a date night; but also great for a meal any time. Food was amazing! Had a delicious prosecco and aperol drink, clams casino and a shrimp pasta. Also, I cannot get over how good my house salad was!!! Whoa! The vinaigrette was insane....best ever and there were strawberries on it too. I thought it was odd for the Winter, but it all went soo well together. My friend had the caesar salad and it was bangin! I literally was shoveling in my salad because I couldn't get enough! My friend had the pasta fagioli soup, and she said it was the BEST chicken parm. She ever had......ever!! We go to Little Italy 🇮🇹 once a month and have never tried this place until tonight!!! We will definitely be back and bring others with us! Highly recommend!! They also play great music. Nice bread and the garlic butter--Yum!!

A beautiful restaurant that held onto its 1930s charm without looking outdated. It's exactly the right amount of glamor to feel like it's a special occasion restaurant. And the food is delicious! Our table had fried zucchini and sausage with peppers for appetizers and ravioli, veal medallions and 2 had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. *The zucchini was flavorful and tender, not overcooked. *I'm told the peppers were wonderful with a decent amount of spicy heat. *I tried the Alfredo and it was amazing. So silky smooth and ultra creamy. I wished I had ordered it. *My veal was sliced thin, very lightly breaded, pan fried and served with a lightly lemony sauce. It was tender and flavorful. I didn't try the ravioli. It got demolished too quickly by my SIL. A perfect birthday celebration for our daughter and SIL. I highly recommend Angelos Nido Italia. And they make a perfect cup of after dinner coffee and espresso. If you normally add cream to your coffee try it without. It's so smooth and creamy it needs nothing.

Awesome restaurant. Our first time there in Little Italy in Cleveland. Food is amazing. But YOU NEED RESERVATIONS. It is a very beautiful restaurant. We have eaten at every restaurant in little Italy, so glad we had dinner there last week.

If you are looking for old-school Italian with an upscale vibe, Angelos is the real deal. Every part of my dining experience here was absolutely outstanding. It's a must-try spot in Little Italy.

Wonderful homestyle restaurant in little Italy! The ambiance is quiet and feels upscale but the menu and prices are homestyle and extremely reasonable. Tons of wonderful classic selections like meatballs, wedding soup, chicken parm, etc. But also tons of great specials and a nice wine selection. I absolutely love that they have a house red and house white available by the carafe! That’s a very hard thing to find outside of Italy itself. This is not Luca, Michaelangelo’s, or Mia Bella, but it doesn’t try to be; it’s a great local spot with a hint of that upscale vibe enough that you can have a very nice dinner here. The decor inside is nice, the service is great, the music fits the tone nicely, and it’s very quiet inside. Last note, be weary of the serving sizes, they are enormous (not a bad thing, but you’ll be full!)! I’d highly recommend checking out Angelo’s.

After making reservations, my husband and I were very excited to eat at this place for our date night. We tried to do a walk in about a month ago, but told we couldn’t get in without a reservation (they had just opened and there wasn’t a sole inside other then the wait staff…odd but then again we didn’t know what they were expecting from the night we tried to walk-in). The complimentary bread was when I started to be concerned about the quality. The second piece inside was cold to the touch(possibly previously frozen). The crust didn’t have the crunch that you would have expected from this type of bread. The meal itself was meh. For the price and the taste, it seemed to be cooked without much passion or love. The hubs got the seafood dish and added the shrimp scampi. The dish was oddly sweet like caramel, which we both found confusing. The shrimp was huge and the seafood on it was abundant. They didn’t skip on that part of the dish! I got the escarole and beans. It seemed to have been sitting out before making its way over to our table. It was nice but I didn’t know what to expect. I would have probably asked for a lemon to brighten up the flavor should I come back. The service was on point and our server knew the menu perfectly. She was very knowledgeable and very friendly each time. If you ask me if I would want to go back, I’ll pass. For the price I would have expected better quality and fresher.

We were lucky to happen upon this wonderful restaurant in the summer of 2021. When we visited again in April 2022, the owner still remembered us from that previous visit; this tells you everything you need to know about the welcoming family-like atmosphere of this restaurant. The ambiance is great for a long leisurely meal with family, and I imagine that it would also be a great ace for a romantic dinner for two. They play a great selection of music, ranging from arias to American Popular Song (think "Chances Are", "Misty", and "Moon River"), but the music is never too loud and will never drown out your conversation. The selection of wines by the glass has enough breadth to pair well with all of their appetizers and entrees. The service is excellent - they are there when you need them and, just as important, they are not there when you don't need them. This is the kind of restaurant that is conducive to long leisurely meals; they are not going to bring out your entree while you are still in the middle of your appetizers. I'm sure that if you are in a hurry, they will be happy to accommodate you, but by default they are going to assume that you want to take your time. My favorite appetizer is the sauteed calamari; it is very lightly breaded and sauteed with bell peppers, onion, and kalamata olives. I would happily have this wonderful dish as an entree, but we ended up splitting it as an appetizer. Their veal, chicken, and fish entrees are all definitely worth trying. They are simple, tasty, and prepared to perfection. I haven't tried the beef, but I noticed that several tables around me ordered beef dishes and seemed to enjoy them. Finally, for dessert I highly recommend the lemon sorbet. It is served inside a large hollowed-out frozen lemon with a bit of cream on the side - the absolute perfect ending to an absolutely awesome meal.

What a disappointment! We booked this restaurant in anticipation of a lovely family meal with my daughter who is in from out of town and my brother. One of us had been together for a very long time and we were looking forward to catching up. Despite making a reservation in advance, they set a set a table adjacent to a large wedding reception. There was a DJ playing very loud music and encouraging the wedding party to do various dances. Not only could we not talk without screaming or hear what each other was saying but it was so loud that it was painful. After complaining, about midway through our meal, they moved us outdoors onto a patio that was closed for the night. Despite it being a chilly night we we were relieved to be away from the loud music, but it really changed our evening into something stressful and Instead of something relaxing. The food was okay but nothing amazing. Here’s the clincher of the evening…I had brought a birthday cake with me for my daughter and brothers birthday. When we got our bill, which was very expensive, not only did they not compass anything for all of our troubles, but they had the nerve to charge us $15 to cut and serve cake to the five of us! We will never return to this restaurant. That goes without saying!

Went to Nido with a coworker while visiting Cleveland. Opted to sit outside as the weather was perfect and a little cold inside for my liking. Started with the fried mozzarella appetizer. The portion was very generous. The cheese seemed to be home made, very soft, stringy, flavorful. I chose the Chicken piccata after verifying there was no pork free option for non vegetarian spaghetti. That being said it was one of the best chicken piccata I have had. It was an egg batter and the sauce was very lemony and very buttery. The chicken was some of the juiciest I have had in this dish. The angel hair with garlic & oil was to die for good. My coworker gave me a lamb rib bone as his order came with 8 of them. It was also fantastic. The bottle we first ordered was great, but then got a carafe of house wine and liked it better. Service was great. We did get there close to closing and they were happy to accommodate us up until they finished closing and were headed home. Great customer service.

Angelo does it again! Everytime we go to Nido Italia it is excellent in every way! The food is delicious. The specials are so amazing. The service is top notch! We love celebrating all of our birthdays at Nido Italia and every occasion in between!

We ate at Angelos on 12/28/2023. I must say that it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in awhile. Of late, many of the places we’ve dined were overpriced with small portions and frankly boring and average. This was not the case here. The service was excellent. The portion were decent and the quality delicious. We would highly recommend trying this fine restaurant.

The staff were all friendly, respectful and on top of their tasks. Food was good. I had a shrimp cocktail, escargot, and a caprese salad. Along with a strawberry, pistachio, and chocolate gelato dessert. The bread did taste fresh, but we did have to ask for butter. When delivered, the butter came in a dish with cling wrap still on the top and it was hard to cut due to it being too cold. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the variety of the menu. I would recommend and go back.

This restaurant was amazing! I wanted a nice Italian dinner as a special occasion for my husband. There were so many options in "Little Italy" for restaurants, and we actually left 2 restaurants after being seated. So when we "accidentally" wandered in this establishment, we were extremely pleased. Everyone greeted you and seemed like they couldn't wait on you enough. We had their "Wednesday Special" which was a 5 course meal for $25. Soup, Salad, Bread, Chicken Marsala, vegetable or side pasta, and cannoli. It has been a very long time since I had a meal as fabulous as we had at Angelo's. We were fortunate that we arrived early enough that we were seated, but make sure to place a reservation so you don't miss out. Don't pass up on this gem of a restaurant.

Eggplant parm was crispy and delicious. Side of broccolini was fresh and tasty. Welcomed with fresh warm bread, olive oil and parmesan or herb butter. Yumm. Our server was sweet and attentive.

Nice atmosphere and great food. In between upscale and casual. Seem to have a lot of great specials. The red sauce and the chicken piccata were delicious!

We came here for dinner before going to a play at Playhouse Square. The service was great and the food was phenomenal! Hot and delicious! Definitely will be returning! Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
