The food here is amazing. Between the two of us, we tried the tacos (asada, chorizo, and pastor), a queso papusa, pasteles, and plantains. For the tacos, the pastor was super tender and flavorful. The chorizo had a nice crust and fennel (which I personally love). The asada was perfectly cooked. If you're a cheese lover, you'll love the queso papusa. It has an impressive cheese pull, with crispy bits of grilled cheese that had leaked out. The plantains were sweet with crisp edges. My friend said they reminded him of his grandmother's - which I assure you is the highest compliment that can be given. I'm familiar with the building from when it was The Big Egg diner, and there are definitely some improvements inside. I hope they are able to continue improving it, because it is quite outdated. The upbeat music and fresh paint give it a carefree feeling. Still, I wouldn't necessarily go for the ambience, but definitely for the food.

The food was delicious!! Todo con muy buen sazon! The horchata was also very yummy. The restaurant was clean and cute. Service was great! 10/10 recommend and would come here again I had pupusas revueltas and de frijoles. They were fluffy hot and delicious. And yuca frita and chicharron. All delicious

I want this place to do well. It did not meet that standard with our visit. Had a chicken burrito type of item, which was 2/3 rice. The rest of it was just ok. My partner didn't like her meal she felt like it mostly came out of a can. Even though it just opened, there were cobwebs in the windows. I want you to go here, because I want them to survive. They need to up their game if that's going to happen.

I came for dinner and ordered the guacamole and Carne asada. Food was fresh and flavorful. I left with a full stomach. I'll be back.

Fresh food in a charming location. And served by really nice staff. This is a great addition to the neighborhood. I ordered a torta and guacamole. Both tasted fresh and flavorful! Their chips are great and I love their bread. I look forward to many more visits.

Stopped by for a weeknight dinner around 5:30, I got a chorizo taco, a pastor taco, a revuelta pupusa and a pastor pupusa. The food came hot piping hot! It was soooo good! The sauces that accompanied each item were absolutely amazing and fresh. I think these are the best pupusas around. I don’t like pupusas that are overly greasy and these were almost crisp on the exterior without any extra grease. The server was very attentive and friendly. I can’t wait to comeback and explore the whole menu.

Absolutely loved it here. I had the breakfast burrito and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The mini pepusas for the table were excellent, and everybody loved their food. We were absolutely stuffed and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place!! Note— there’s a sign outside that says all day breakfast, but it’s only served until 11. The server very kindly let me order breakfast anyways at 2– thank you!!

It's a small, very casual restaurant with a small menu in English and Spanish. The portions are worth the price and are quite tasty. The horchata is wonderful. A word of warning to people not fond of spicy foods: some of the sauces and peppers used may be too hot for you.

The food was delicious and I will for sure come back! The portions are great for the price. We came in for takeout, it was quick, and the staff was very appreciative. A great gem of the neighborhood that I don’t think people have discovered.
