Very clean water , but to late in the afternoon like around 6 is when the waves bring in the nastiness from the lake since the boats make waves. Other than that lovely beach and I love on the right hand side if the beach it has low water for the little ones to safely play.

Nice wide open beach. It also has a designated area for dogs only. A quick walk from any of the parking locations, via upper Edgewater parking area or upper West picnic area.

Really good beach by Lake Erie. We went on a Sunday and enjoyed it a lot. It’s a family and pet 🐶 friendly beach 🏖 . We came across a group playing different musical instruments 🥁 they created a fun safe place for visitors to come and enjoy their music and dance 💃 my fiancée likes to dance a lot and was very happy to join the group of people dancing and with the group. Some people were also flying kites 🪁 by the beach.

So, me, my daughter & our dog Ruthie met an incredibly beautiful woman named Victoria & her dog at the beach last Sunday & kind of spent the afternoon hanging out. As soon as we left, I regretted not asking if we could exchange info. This is obviously a long shot, but if you see this, please reach out!

A beautiful beach with clean sand and truly wonderful surroundings. A perfect place to just stretch out and lie in the sun or bring a family and make Sam castles or wade in the water is it laps around your ankles or simply walk out into it for a nice swim. It's a large and a welcoming and beautiful piece of land to just enjoy but the day has to bring.

Enjoyed visiting here when in Ohio. Nice little “beach” like atmosphere. Plenty of walking trails and parking. Beautiful view of the lake.

Such a fun place to come & relax/enjoy the day as a family/with friends. Definitely will be back many times before summer ends, they had food etc available to buy also, lots of good options/affordable.

An impromptu drive lead to me discovering Edgewater Beach Park in the Cleveland area, just an one hour and roughly 40 minutes from Dublin/Columbus! My day was more than what I bargain for! Finding a place that i could get work done, recharge, renew and reflect without being deprive of the Gorgeous weather outside. For me the weather was a bit cold for swimming but many people were enjoying the water! I made my way to the rocks to the right of lake where I place my towel to comfortably enjoyed the sun, feel the cool mist of the waves splashing against the rocks! I needed a bite to eat so went to the convenient store that offers a boardwalk like menu with snacks, Ice cream,hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries and more! I saw a sign advertising alcoholic beverages but quickly learned it was only available at the bar located on the second floor. The bar is easy accessible by stairs located to the left of the conviene store! I am not sure if they have an elevator! The bar features an open bar concept that allows you to truly enjoy the outdoors! During the hot season it might be way to hot to sit and do work. Since it was early afternoon not crowed making it a breeze to secure a table facing the views of Lake Erie. Nothing like indulging the beautiful weather savoring couple of cold beers yet accomplishing plenty of work. Edgewater Beach Park is easy accessible and plenty of parking for free! This place truly rewarded me with the tranquility and serenity I was looking for in nature. It’s not the beach but it comes close to it. The sand is clean and the facilities, restrooms and the establishment are fairly clean. It’s the beginning of the season and i arrived pretty early so I found the zen i was looking for. It’s a guarantee that this place gets busier once the weather gets hotter. The season has just begun and at 5 pm people began arriving for drinks, it’s a great spot for drinks after work! My overall experience at Edgewater Beach, Lake Erie was phenomenal making it a must visit if you are in the Cleveland area!

Absolutely beautiful beach!! I do believe there were 6 life guards on duty while we were there, which was wonderful. An epic playground nearby, a very large dog beach available full of happy pups, and this gorgeous Cleveland sign to take photos of, or with. Paragliders were taking advantage of the hill jutting out just beside trees, above the water. Such a glorious day with plenty to see and do. Very easily an all day adventure.

We had a wonderful time at Edgewater Beach in Ohio on Lake Erie! The beach has a beautiful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the lake. The sandy shoreline was clean, and the park was well-maintained, offering a variety of amenities like picnic areas, walking trails, and beach volleyball courts. The only drawback during my visit was that swimming was not allowed due to water contamination, as advised by the attentive and responsible lifeguards. While this was disappointing, it's clear that the safety and well-being of visitors were their top priority. Despite the swimming restriction, Edgewater Beach still offers plenty of fun activities for families and friends to enjoy by the water's edge. The beach's location is fantastic, with easy access and ample parking. I highly recommend visiting Edgewater Beach for a relaxing day out, just make sure to check for swimming advisories before planning a water-related activity.

The beach itself was nice, but it was just so ghetto we couldn't bare to stay. Blasting loud rap music, weed everywhere, not our thing. Will definitely be trying different Cleveland beaches.

Large, well, manicured beach makes you feel like you're at the ocean. Beach house is brand new and has many amenities. On top of the hill. There's a beautiful new expansive children's playground. Gorgeous views of the city escape from the western hillside. Of course you have to get your picture taken with the iconic Cleveland sign.

Very clean and beautiful beach. Has a concession stand and snack shop. Also has alot of rentals. Swimming area is very shallow. Life guards are present.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. My bf and myself love taking our fur baby Yuki to this dog beach. It's clean and peaceful. So many kind ppl and other dogs for yuki to play with. Now if she only likes going to the water. Lol

Beautiful! There were no restrooms open when we went (early January), but a lovely beach! We found sea glass and some awesome rocks.

Great spot to cool off in the water, kids playing, dogs being walked. Lovely park and good views of Cleveland.

Swim at your own risk! As of 8.23.23 there was a sewage overflow on the "beach". Signs are posted everywhere and there was even a dead rat at one of them. The water was filled with water caps and was very murky and the sand can't even be called sand-just compacted dirt with a sand-like texture. Wish there would have been honest Google reviews so we would have known beforehand as we traveled out of our way to this highly-rated beach only to be sorely disappointed.

Want to visit a beautiful beach? This is the one in winter time. There are hours that are amazing and that you will be amazed by things seen here.

No swimming today because of waves. What a joke has this supervisor in charge ever been to an ocean? We went down to dog park and swam there, and it was like swimming in a peaceful ocean.

The children loved this place. No drama , lots of culture & happy people. Great place for a picnic. Grilling areas off the beach. You can bring your boat. You can also get jet ski rentals. Lifeguards leave at 7pm. August lifeguards are weekend only.

Great place to swim. If you are training and need deeper water. Either wait until after lifeguard hours or swim in the left side in the dog park. The water is deeper immediately whereas inside the bouys by the lifeguards the water is far to shallow.

Went on Mother's Day it was really nice. I enjoyed some beverages from the snack bar and had a lovely lunch with my family. I will visit here again.
