The facilities are fine but the staff leaves A LOT to be desired. First off, it took three separate visits for someone to figure out how to sign me up for a membership. Then I later found out they signed me up for the wrong type of membership that was nearly twice as expensive. I’ve now been trying to cancel my membership for two months and the staff either won’t do it or is too incompetent to figure it out. I’ve tried talking to people in person several times and that hasn’t gone anywhere. I’ve submitted requests online that yielded nothing. And now I’m trying to call management directly but I get sent to voicemail.

Been coming to the downtown Cleveland YMCA most of my adult life. A beautiful facility that always is so poorly run, hard to believe that there are any members at all. I take group exercise classes that often no instructor shows up for but you don't know until you get there and wait for an instructor. No one at the front desk ever knows anything, they are busy playing on their phones anyway. Good place if you want to work out yourself but forget the group classes, they do not care how they treat the members.

This place is a joke! Parking is supposed to be free on the weekends. Yet the incompetent staff has frequent difficulty putting the right validation sticker on your parking ticket! Then you have to wait for the building's security guards to come down and let you out of the parking garage because the exit machine tries to charge you money and there are no parking lot attendants on duty! Find yourself a YMCA that is manned by trained monkeys instead! Because even that would very likely be less of a hassle!

What a joke of a YMCA! Not sure how this is even opened, I got a guest pass twice and the pool was closed both times, no lifeguard available. And when I wanted to sign up for a membership the lady’s didn’t even know how to do it! I guess ymca is a thing of the past cause seems like these employees are just waiting for this place to close.

I love this gym it's up to date clean and has all new equipment, 2 floors with large pool area.

The facilities are gorgeous. In addition, the staff is very helpful, and they have some really awesome classes. Martial arts classes with Demetri are awesome! Sauna, whirlpool, and pool are also major highlights.

They have everything you need To improve your physical health. The staff is always poli and eager to assist.

My husband and I got a membership and we only went there one time service is really bad, most of the machine are broke. We just was just wasted money for nothing!! Please do not go there

I’ve been back after the pandemic for 2 months ago I wonder why the steam room is always broken 😞 you call they said it’s working when you get there it’s not working wires are coming out of the ceiling huh safety issue there)🤔 my women locker room isn’t all that clean! I love the staff but it’s always two women there but sometimes they should sanitized the pool area especially on their 15 mins breaks I never seen anyone sanitize the area? In the pool area! I just make sure I’m using my sanitizer I gotta get my workout in! It’s my husband membership!

This is a very good facility clean, and with a variety of great equipment, classes, trainers, swimming, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi all located in a central area of downtown Cleveland.

Everyone is so pleasant it’s a family atmosphere. They’re not just pleasant there very helpful as a team. A little lifting, hot tub, steam, shower great way to start the day

I do like coming to the Y I love the swimming but what I don't like is I was charging in the locker room when this lady came through there with her teenage son, she covered his head but that is not the point males should not be in the female locker room. It is also very clean

Though my hometown and permanent YMCA membership is in Duluth MN, I found myself living and working in Cleveland for five months during my husband's double lung transplant at Cleveland Clinic. My passion is dance/ballet, and I needed that creative outlet during a very stressful time. This YMCA was only a few miles down the road from where we were staying, and I was able to visit on multiple occasions as a guest. I loved the open studio I found by the stairs, with a barre and mirror and lots of space to dance and give myself a ballet barre. The locker room was impressively clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I only visited on Sundays when it was quiet so I can't speak to the parking but I had no trouble parking nearby on that day. If I ever find myself back in Cleveland for a period of time, I will definitely return to the Hannifin Downtown YMCA location! I would highly recommend it!

All the matts are beaten up dirty worn out the whole gym could use a huge remodeling and they’re trying to up the price on the memberships not worth it at all !! It was a nuisance me trying to find a clean mat .

This facility is beautiful very nice clean and well maintained the pool area and amenities are great!

I’m a returning member to this location so I already know it’s top notch. Making some necessary changes to my account went 100% easier thanks to George & his above and beyond customer service!

At my age and this stage of my life I looked for a clean,safe workout facility that would healthy and positive I found all these things at the (Y) thank you

Thank you to the Galleria YMCA for having a piano in the lobby. I play after I work out and enjoy it very much. The location is great for me to work out on my lunch break and quickly get back to work.

Wonderful group of people here. They have been working so hard to make sure everything is safe for us during the pandemic. I really enjoy the highly motivating and very knowledgeable instructors running the fitness classes. The pool is beautiful. The equipment is cleaned regularly by both the members and the amazing staff. Love coming in!

It is super friendly down there its easy to make friends down there and the workers there are very nice including the other members there are super nice and friendly tho i wish they serve donuts every morning but other thing they have great programs for kids/teens programs like summer camp , daycares , we run this city and kids that tri the only i hate is that theres no basketball court or any glazed donuts to eat daily but the commuinty is awsome

I'm really happy 😊 to workout here at the Y. I've accomplished so many things that I thought I would never do with hard work and dedication. This place has been a blessing to me. Thank you.
