Both the service and food here is average at best. We literally only come here because my young kids can run around the grassy area nearby. Meals come out one at a time - today I was waiting 15 minutes for my meal after the first meal arrived at our table. Coffees are regularly only luke warm and a "flat white" is usually far too frothy. I've had to send a flat white back several times (my grandma cannot drink the froth due to sensory issues). The meals are inconsistent - one week a toastie will be cold and the next, burnt on the edges. The Pad Thai is flavourless (and came with a lemon wedge instead of lime?), the BBQ pork wrap just tastes like sauce, the Thai Beef salad is 80% red onion. The Vermicelli chicken noodle salad is probably the best thing I've tried but once came with only 3 pieces of chicken (I counted...) and I was made to feel like an inconvenience when I mentioned this to the staff. There are no warm greetings or any effort made to make us feel welcome even though we come here every fortnight for lunch. I literally only come here because my kids (might) eat the chicken nuggets and they can run around outside otherwise I would be taking my money elsewhere.

Nice coffee and cake deal. Sat outside in the nice Sea breeze. Good service. The outside umbrellas need replacing lots of tape patching them up. Sitting outside with our bicycles.

Very disappointed with the breakfast. Poached eggs over-cooked and hard, eggs benedict very poorly presented with a drizzle of poor quality hollandaise sauce. Coffee burnt and overly strong. On a positive note, the smoked salmon was fresh and generous in quantity. Overall, more effort needed with the presentation of food on the plate.

Lovely food, great coffee in a relaxed setting under the trees. Service was very good too!

The couple that runs this is beautiful, efficient, make awesome food and good coffee. Peaceful location. Large breaky menu. No complaints here.

Terrible to the max. Food rubbish, venue dirty and outdated, toilets a disgrace. Used to be quite a nice and enjoyable cafe, but now the worst in Cleveland buy a longshot. Can only suggest business has changed hands in recent times with new operators not having much of a clue with running a food business. They will go broke very quickly without repeat business. Redland City is a small community and word of mouth is everything in this town. Vale little Bloomfield Cafe.

okay guys i’m eating here as i’m writing this review lol. I got an iced coffee and french toast and the french toast is really good and very filling! The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and very lovely xx

Absolutely terrible food. Eggs Benedict was not what I asked for, runny eggs when I asked for them hard. I don’t know what they thought hollandaise sauce is because it wasn’t there. It use to be great a few years back but I will never be going back.

Amazing coffee, bold and rich and serve at perfect temperature. Very friendly staff and great ambience. Will be back again soon :)

On the plus side — the vibe was nice! And staff seem friendly too The Iced Latte ($6.10) was lacking however. I ended up throwing it out because it just tasted like watery milk. I think it suffers from the same problem most Iced Lattes suffer from — the cup is wayyy to big to maintain a good ratio of coffee to milk and keep it from getting watered down And the cup for this Iced Latte was especially large compared to most other cafes. I would like to see some experimentation with either smaller cups or even just serving it in the normal cardboard coffee cup. I’ve seen some 5 star coffee stores going with the cardboard coffee cup strategy and they always have amazing Iced Lattes. I don’t even care that cardboard cups start to deform after 15 minutes.
