A stunning building with an atrium and speakeasy that will make you wonder if you’re really in a grocery store. My wife and I arrived from Cleveland and needed some supplies for the weekend. She checked maps and said, “This place looks really cool.” Parking in the area wasn’t the easiest, so she went in alone as I tended the car. We made sure to return the next day so I could experience it and my sister-in-law as well. What we saw did not disappoint. You enter through a normal looking grocery store, but when you step into the atrium, everything changes. You look up three stories to a vaulted ceiling. Inside the atrium is a deli and other made to order food. The entrance directly to this area is open weekdays from 11:00-2:00. The second floor is where the beer, wine and liquor is. Apart from just purchasing, they have a tasting area and a bar. The wine can be self-serve by the glass and décor is beautiful up there. While we didn’t stop for a drink and disappointed the bartender, they were so friendly and it would have been delightful to hang out there. There is also something called The Vault that was not open when we were there, but it is a speakeasy style bar set in an old bank vault. Heinen’s would be an incredible place to hang out with friends or go on a date. You can taste several offerings before grabbing a nice cocktail in The Vault and then grab snacks on your way out.

Really cool store to check out!! So many awesome selections of just about anything. They also have a wine bar so it would be a really nice place to meet friends. Great selection of IPA's as well as other adult beverages to purchase. I loved how they saved this amazing architecture and repurposed it into a very usable place. Absolutely beautiful on the inside and out.

Great downtown grocery store in a cool, historic building. Little less selection than a normal Heinen's due to its more compact, downtown spot, but I have never had something I couldn't find. There is a prepared food section that is popular at lunch time, an ice cream spot, and a self service wine bar. Also a wellness area. The building used to be a grand bank, and you can still see parts of it in the cool rotunda. There is also bank vaults in the Vault bar downstairs. Cool place to check out even if you don't need any groceries.

What came first the epic location or the epic grocery store inside? Even without the need to stock up on groceries you have to stop in and grab a snack and check out the amazing architecture inside!

Heinen's is as usual is a very nice store. Prices are a little higher than most stores but also most of the food sold is of good quality. I'm gluten free and I can get some good stuff here. Not a lot but I like what they offer

What an unique place. It's basically a grocery store inside a historic building. We especially enjoyed the self serve wine tasting bar on the second floor. The rotunda is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit!

What an amazing grocery store in downtown Cleveland. The store is located in what seems to be a historical building. The prices seem reasonable for being downtown. Very friendly staff

Were visiting Cleveland for a day and stayed near this place. Looked up grocery store on Google and it took us here. Am glad we went there because it’s more than grocery store. It had a beautiful architecture with a glass painted dome and paintings all around. It also had wine tasting upstairs where you could taste wine from a tap, which was a very interesting concept. We spent about an hour here just looking around.

I was impressed with the design of this building, which used to be a bank and now a supermarket. It is wonderful! Customer service outstanding. We spoke with the manager, and he was so polite and helpful. The variety of food and the presentation were excellent. The wine tasting stations... I loved them. I was genuinely impressed and delighted with this supermarket.

Architecturally, it is the most beautiful market I have ever seen. There is also a dining area. The product range is very wide. A must see place for anyone coming to Cleveland.

First visit to this grocery store and ice cream store. They have a huge variety of fresh prepared foods from roast beef to fettuccine Alfredo. They also have a plethora of sides and fresh meet and seafood. They don't have the largest selection of general grocery items but they are limited on space but there is a great selection for the space they have at there disposal. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the store was very clean. If your staying downtown it's a must try.

Reminds me of a European shopping mall, down to the prices. They do have very high quality products such as Red Boat fish sauce and seaweed at the deli which doesn't have that garish green color added--much harder to find than you would think.

Coolest grocery store in Downtown Cleveland by far. And it's in a beautiful old building that could literally take your breath away with its beauty. Now I'm a man and looking up at the rotunda, it blew my mind. Got to see it to experience it. I could of took more photos of the food but I enjoyed the wine and beer section so sorry for not showing how big the market really is. 5 STAR ESTABLISHMENT!!!

Nice place with access to nice food though they have prepared foods but no way to warm up the food you buy. I asked several employees and there is just no access to warming up food so a bit disappointed that a spot with seating to eat the food you buy has no microwave.

Had the ice cream from this place and it was DIVINE. I had the roasted pistachio because I figured I'd try something different and it was easily the best icecream I'd ever had. My husband had the chocolate chip and it was also amazing. The building itself is very beautiful and I would definitely say this is a place to check out if you're visiting Cleveland.

Recommend to check out the architecture and historical remnants. Love the food court for lunch. Rice bowls, salad bar and Mitchell's ice cream are my favorite. Prepared food selections are excellent too. Friendly and helpful staff.

This was a very neat grocery store in the heart of Cleveland. The interior was beautiful and we loved the view from the second floor - plus there was a bathroom which is nice for travelers. The market was starting to close up when we visited around 2pm on a Saturday but we were full so it worked for us just to stop by. Great staff all around.
