Went here for the first time today. Great experience! When I walked in everyone welcomed me and said "Hello!". When it was my turn to get my haircut, Angelo barber had me sit and thoroughly listened to my specifications. During the haircut he consistently asked me if certain parts of my hair was okay which was amazing. At the end , he asked if there is anything else that I would like to have done or cut before payment. Really appreciated the attention to detail here and plan to come again next time!

Got my first haircut from this place by Elson. Truly a great first experience. Haircut came out exactly how I wanted it to even though i wasn’t able to explain it to the best of my ability. Elson carefully listened to my requests and made sure along the way he was heading towards the end product I wanted. Nice clean environment. Will definitely be coming back.

Got my haircut from Gio for the first time yesterday and I couldn't be happier. I got the appointment on a Sunday, which is really convenient for me as I don't always have the time during week to get a cut. Originally, I told him I wanted a fade but I switched my mind at the last minute (not something I recommend doing) to go with a skin fade. Gio was cool about it and gave me a great cut like a true professional! This review doesn't do The Social Barber Co justice, but I wanted to leave a great review for great service! Thanks Gio!

Alyssa has been my barber now for a few months. SHE IS AMAZING (honestly, the entire staff is... they all help one another and it's a true family atmosphere). I literally love her. As someone who made the transition to men's haircuts and was learning from the ground up, she has immersed herself in the craft. She is very friendly, professional and aims to always have me leave the chair in great spirits, feeling fresh. I always look forward to chatting with her. Even on the days where I'm so tired (haircuts are really relaxing for me) that i fall asleep in the chair, i have zero qualms because I trust Alyssa's judgment. Her haircuts are pure fire and she is worth checking out. The shop overall is clean, and calming. They do not play loud, garbage music, and usually have throwback music videos or (my favorite) a dog channel on. It's mindless content that truly allows me to relax. Elson, the owner is a cool dude and always remembers everyone who walks in. It has that CHEERS vibe. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The most comfortable, professional, and sharpest barbershop in Jersey hands down. I have only good things to say about the Social and that’s because of the quality and service they constantly provide, I come in knowing I’m leaving looking Fresh and with my fade on point. Gio does an excellent job and is a master barber, he really is a perfectionist. Also the barber Elson does an incredible job, all around all barbers are great you cant go wrong with any of them. I recommend getting your cuts here ASAP!
