Great food, atmosphere, service and music! Everyone was super friendly! The music was throwback jams! Haven’t been here in so long, it changed inside and I love the remodel. Went there on a football Sunday, the music shut off and the local Giants game was on and you can hear the announcers so clearly. We sat at the bar, our bartender Ashley was awesome! The food came out very quickly. The burger was on the large side and the fries were super hot! Yum! Enjoy!

Been here twice, and I certainly plan to return. Great menu (⚠️ WARNING: Addictive Food Alert! ⚠️), stellar servers, and lively atmosphere: everything you'd expect from an Irish pub. Also, there're dart boards all over, so if you fancy a game you're in luck. And what's a game of darts without a fancy, schmancy draft beer? The beverage menu is very extensive and has something for all tastes, from old school cocktails to pretentious hipster brews. I tried the Elysian Space Dust, and was far from disappointed. The bad news: the parking isn't great, but The Shannon Rose does share a lot with Target, America's Best, Super Stop & Shop, Barnes & Noble, etc. so that's to be expected.

This local pub boasts a fantastic array of food options. While I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, I couldn't help but wish they offered a wider selection of their own beer. The prices were quite reasonable, and the service was impressively fast. What's even better is that they host happy hour events nearly every day? Everything you can ask for your local pub

First time here the other night with my family and was most excellent! Javier our waiter was a legend super cool respectful and attentive. Environment was great good vibes definitely coming again throughout the summer.

🫵🇨🇮🍺 Yet another Shannon Rose 🌹 location! Nice atmosphere and very large bar with 3 different sections. I showed up on a Saturday around 4pm. The bar seemed understaffed with 1 person available 👇🫴✍️. Plenty of parking available. Customer service was passable. Slightly under par. Anyways, I got the grilled chicken 🐔 sandwich! A classic go to with home made chips! Great job with the chicken. Topped with a Shannon Rose loggger. Loved it. The Paramus location is much nicer even though its slightly smaller. The darker wood bar and padded seats apply a much better experience for a drink! But non the less it was a pleasant visit. Fit for more visits ☝️ Recommend a visit or few 💯✔️💫🫱

My daughter found this place and sent me a picture of the Guiness Gate so I had to go. Food was awesome and I attached some pictures. Our server was good and mentioned an issue that might slow down our food but all came out on time and hot. Atmosphere is cool and everyone seemed happy. Apps were good but the cheese sause needed to be hotter. I loved the potato soup and everyone at the table enjoyed their entries. This place is a must try for great comfort food, hang at the bar and have a good time.

My husband and I haven't been here in awhile . Under renovation . I had fish and chips and husband had shepherds pie . Food is always good . Staff very friendly .

Bad service, Bad food, Awful cocktails. Will a go back? I don’t think so Wife order a cucumber mint martini, all she got was chilled vodka in a coupe glass. Wife order a amaretto sour, something happened to it that it tasted like jalapeño syrup/ amaretto. Server wasn’t attentive, dry answers, zero knowledge about the house cocktails. Wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed The couple sitting next to us sent their gin martini back also, and complain to the server that the cocktails and food wasn’t good.

The food was awesome and the service was great. I loved the atmosphere too. I ordered a chicken pot pie and it was to die for. The customers were super loud but that has nothing to do with the restaurant. I will say the restroom was a bit neglected.

We visited the Shannon Rose Irish Pub in Clifton a few weeks ago and had a great time. Let's start at the beginning, parking is somewhat limited these days with the required tenting for outdoor seating but still plentiful in our opinion. We opted for dinning indoors and felt completely at home. Very clean with the feeling of being in what we imagined an actual pub in Ireland would be like. Lot's of dark rich wood décor and lighting bright enough to see but subdued enough to fell comfortable. We started out with a plate of Nachos which was loaded with meat, cheese and sliced Jalapeno peppers and the chips remained crisp and able to scoop and hold the toppings. Next we asked for naked (plain) wings which came out hot and crispy just as we like them with the sauce on the side so we could each determine our perfect level of heat. Bangers and mash was excellent and came with spinach sautéed in garlic and oil. The ribeye steak was as expected for a non steakhouse but enjoyed it just the same. The service was fast, friendly and above the norm these days. A great selection of beers and ciders also made the trip worth it. Even a surprise visit from the manager who inquired how everything was and actually seemed interested in our answers. We talked for a while and left knowing we would be back again soon. Well worth the trip!

My family had a great time at the Kids Halloween brunch some great prizes, the kids enjoyed the games and they did a parade in the restaurant. Thank you for having us. I had the Maria Burrito it was good a huge size, I loved the mimosa float.

I love the interior of this Irish pub it's very themed well as a Irish pub look but they play american music which doesn't match the place. I ordered the bacon cheddar boxty (Potato pancakes, bacon, cheddar, chives, sour cream) as a starter which was amazing the taste and texture was great. My main dish was the Shannon Rose cheeseburger which comes on a English muffin that seemed like they buttered it which works well with the american cheese I had on my mine. I definitely would go back the food was good.

Still a wonderful and large Irish themed bar, though Covid may have slowed things (like service) down. Some excellent beer (Guinness), Irish/American faire - still a favorite bar experience! Try the bangers and mash for the horseradish gravy...lovely twist :-)

This place gets 2 stars, only for ambiance and presentation of food. We came as a group of 6 at 3:30pm on a Friday and was seated very quickly. That was the extent of the good service. Our waitress was very nice, but must've been new and in over her head. There was also a second waiter that came and was kind of there lingering around and took two of the six orders which confused us and complicated things for the initial waitress. We ordered off the happy hour menu, and the drinks came out after 25 minutes and were good. I got the blueberry mojito and the strawberry mule. I ordered a chicken salad without dressing and it came with the dressing mixed in, and I told the waitress but ate it anyway. She was nice and apologized. When the checks came, the drinks were charged at full price for me and several others at the table. The waitress needed help from the manager to fix it and this process to over 30 minutes. We requested to see him, he came and gave a dry apology then left. I got my check the second time and it said -$5 discount which still didn't amount to the overcharge. After another 10 minutes of waiting, I offered to pay in cash the amount I owed. I requested to speak with the manager again. He was arrogant and also seemed in over his head. He said some of the menu items were new, which was the reason the checks came out incorrect. In addition, two food orders at our table never came out because the waitress didn't put them in the computer! Imagine waiting 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich to learn that the order wasn't placed when the rest of your friends food comes out. After I told the manager about our experience and the wait time (the restaurant was not at all full), he said that he'd comp my bill because that seems like the only way I'll leave happy. That wasn't at all the case, I had my cash out ready to pay. I wasn't trying to get a free meal. I wanted the pricing corrected and I told him that. I think he realized that I wasn't going to let him try and disrespect me, and so he tried to change his tune and say he wanted to have us give the restaurant another chance. In all, I probably would go back because the food and drinks weren't bad. The service needs improvement.

I wish the menu was a little better as I really only like the appetizers and drinks (but those are 10/10). The service is excellent and the live music is usually talented/enjoyable to listen to. Parking isn't usually an issue, which is another win.

We love coming here because Emily is the hardest worker on the face of the earth. We have our family Christmas party here every year and Emily makes sure everything runs smoothly. Nelson was our waiter/bar tender during the party and he was fantastic also. Love this place!

Picked up some corned beef spring rolls & macaroni & cheese spring rolls. Looked good in photo. Ordered thru Grubhub . Food was hot but both were still pretty raw. For the prices I paid for both, definitely wasn’t worth it. I may try again and actually dine in.

Amazing pub I was here for lunch first time I enjoyed it! the waitress was very nice, I got a cold beer and the murder burger deep fried cheese burger with everything it comes with was very delicious definitely brings something different to the burger game ! Top tier definitely gonna try again wish they had this in south Jersey lol

Lots of choices! Food was good and service was great. Drinks were delicious. A bit weird to have the tv so loud though… would have preferred a nice background music. Otherwise, a good place to hangout with friends and family.

The updated decor was much needed and makes the space much more functional. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich I had was very good. Our bartender was Aaron, he made GREAT DRINKS, knew the menu Very well and made great pairing recommendations. He made our visit! The downsides to me are some menu items and the 'outdoor patio' that isn't really outdoors. Plenty of parking and seemed cleaned

I went to Shannon Rose with my wife 😍for lunch and to see who she was. The staff was very kind and friendly. We were paired with our waitress Anny, who was very nice, and we were given a nice cozy spot next to the bookcase and fireplace. The place had After reviewing the menu the choice was clear, I HAD TO ORDER EVERYTHING! The Sheppard's pie, the boxty, deviled scotch eggs, wings, and even Flatbread pizza. After fighting with my wife 😭 I was told I couldn't have everything and just ordered the appetizer sampler and a turkey club. My wife just ordered a Cobb salad. We were there on a Monday and they had a special on sangria, so I naturally ordered a blue moon and my wife got a rose sangria. When it was time for dessert there was only one clear choice, warm brownie sundae 🍨.

We had pitcher of rosee sangria,I got a Reuben sandwich and my daughter the shepherd pie,was pretty good,and for dessert funnel fries with a caramel dip,was very good,no to heavy , leaving room for my espresso martini,great service and Rebekah was awesome!! I highly recommend it!!

PROS: This place was very nice. It was on the fence between applebees stature and a fancy restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food was amazing and priced accordingly. The menu variety was also plentiful and the place was clean CONS: They share a parking lot with another successful restaurant which makes parking close to impossible. The waiter that we had also had a negative attitude towards us. OVERALL: I would come back to this place under different circumstances. Maybe when it's not crowded and we have a different server

Really nice atmosphere and awesome Irish Pub. Our group had dinner here and everyone had a great time. We tried the sheppards pie, chicken pot pie, and corned beef with cabbage - those were all great! The staff was quick and friendly, kept things rolling and lively. We had a group of 10-12 and not a single issue or delay. I would recommend!

Had a great experience. The food, drinks and desert were amazing. Our waiter was awesome. He was very attentive and super nice. We were seated right away. We didn't have to wait an hour to be seated. Our food and drinks also came out in minutes. Best experience I've had in an Irish Pub. Definitely recommend this place.

This was only the 2nd time coming to this location. 1st time was a long time ago, so I can't remember what my impressions were. Due to Saint Paddy's, we wanted Irish ;) The service was a little slow. The waiter seemed to be trying to deal with all his tables at the same time. So, he was bringing take out boxes while bringing our drinks. Or bringing our food with the bill of another table, so of course we're waiting anxiously for our food while he dealt with the other table giving them their bill... He forgot my soup but as long as it wasn't on the bill it didn't bother me. Deviled Scotch Eggs were amazing! Wish it was always on the menu. Shepard's Pie was good, not too salty. There was more potato than meat, though. Irish Stout Lamb was very good. I don't usually like lamb due to the gameyness, but this lamb did not have any. I prefer the Ramsey location better...

After listening to a great concert, finding a nice place opened and food and service was awesome. The waiter was patient and friendly with great food suggestions despite he shared with us that he just started to work there recently. Happy with the results.

We celebrated my son's birthday at Shannon Rose Clifton and it was an absolute delight! The ambiance was welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a celebration. The staff went out of their way to make it special, and the service was top-notch. From helping with the birthday, to catering to our needs, the staff, especially Mike (Manager) and Nicholas (Server) made the birthday celebration unforgettable. The food was super amazing too! Thank you, Shannon Rose for making my son's birthday so memorable. Your exceptional service added an extra layer of joy to the celebration. We'll definitely be back to create more wonderful memories!

Enjoyed Happy Hour at Shannon Rose. The Loaded Fries were our favorite and a super value for $6. They come topped with beer cheese and bacon - a meal in itself really! We also had the double patty sliders, Guinness BBQ boneless wings, and pepperoni pizza. All were delicious and perfect for sharing over Happy Hour! For drinks, we had the espresso martini (only $8 at Happy Hour) and finished with an Irish Coffee (only $5 this month). Our server Dakota took great care of us the whole time and gave lots of personal attention. She even tracked down a Slane Irish Whiskey hat for us to take home. It felt like we were the only ones being waited on by the whole team. Even our water kept being refilled. Nice to have super service, food, and drinks after a long day! Rated 5*’s and will be back!
