Nasty, dirty, gross. Silverware 99% dirty, out of everything. Asked our server if food was going to be put out she said "ya when it's empty they bring out more". I got a roll broke in half and it had a string or something in the middle baked into it.

This is our to go buffet place most weekends, price is so affordable, more selections and they have a decent service. The downsides are you will constantly hear annoying beeping while eating and you really need to check your plate thoroughly before using it as most of them are disgusting I really wish they do something about that and give their customers an annoying free environment while eating. I like their foods though.

This restaurant has to be the worst of the worst. The appearance and taste of the food has declined over the years but yesterday was the bottom. Breakfast foods were burnt the pancakes and hashbrows. The lunch items seemed to be better but onenof my guest became ill upon eating the soup that they warm in the tray tables during breakfast. Food was visibly dry and looked as if it was from yesterday. The manager Mitch was rude and made bad claims upon my family when one person requested a refund upon eating the soup or salad that they became sick with. However the other manager reviewed the cameras and provided her with refund. Our waitress Sunday was very attentive and friendly.

Came here for military appreciation night and was very impressed! Our waitress and all staff we encountered were very friendly and attentive. The food was really good for a buffet and there were so many options! I didn’t even get to try them all. The bread pudding was maybe the best I’ve ever had, not dry at all. I will definitely be back, and thank you Golden Corral for showing appreciation to Vets!

We used to love coming to this place especially on a friday! Now a days days the food quality has dropped tremendously. The options of which they serve you is bare minimal or cold. Went to get meat on friday there is no special meats any longer. The ham and ribs were cold. Steak used be a better quality as well. Salad bar doesn't include bacon anymore? No mk or chocolate fountain. Only 2 pie selections. As I said the quality used to be better. All of these are things noticed by my child it's her favorite restaurant. My waitress was awesome ty Brittany. Over all the food was def not fresh all but the steak the options were slim and not very tasty. I tried a little of everything even the bourbon street chicken used to be better. I understand that sometimes business is slow but this was dinner rush 6 pm to 7pm . Prolly won't bring my child back. The staff in kitchen was helpful and pulled cold food once notified

Rarely do I give a bad review ....but.... Disgusting. If only zero stars were available. Place needs a full cleaning. Maybe rip out disgusting carpet and try vinyl flooring... Plastic cutlery? Maybe since covid? But had to ask for it vs getting at payment and entering. Many tables were not wiped down without asking after awaiting a significant time. Unused tables stacked with piles of dishes. This st 4pm so not a full dinner rush. I'd hate to see it during rush time. The buffet had many empty pans due to non attention. I've been to several Golden Corral in many other major city centres. And this so far by far has been the worst! Find another location or establishment for a better dining experience Picture added is only 1 set of tables ...though many tables were the same throughout the restaurant

If you spend a dollar at this place, you're drunk, high, or both. Absolutely disgusting restaurant in every way imaginable. Odd aroma throughout the entire restaurant... all the food tastes like said aroma. If you don't get sick from the food, you may just die by getting stabbed by the knives that are stuck in the ceiling tiles. Heath department needs to shut this place down like yesterday! 4.0 rating at the time of this review has got to be a joke. Save yourself, your loved ones, and your pocket book. Gotta run... Emergency bathroom break!

The place was busy as usual. That meant barely finding a clean and available table, dirty floors and running out of food. The staff held it down pretty well. We were able to find a table and the wait was not too long for food. The food was good and fresh. The roast was flavorful with soft red skin potatoes. The fried and baked chicken were on point. I just wish there were more toppings for salad like, bacon and eggs. Overall I enjoyed and would go again.

I eat out everyday and haven't been to a Golden Corral in while. So we stopped in. What a mistake..place was messey..tables not cleared..food all over floor..dirty dishes...no silverware..I asked 3 people for help on that..no response. I just left plate on table and ask for manager for refund..she was the most help..I know the buffet restaurants are like that..but not this.this was worst in years..

It was good not great. What do you expect as an adult? The kids loved it! They ate their first plate of real food then went for the deserts! I know the foods not going to be great, but it brings me back to when I was a kid watching my kids. Old Country, Sweden House and countless other buffet type places! It was always about how good the desert was! This place has good stuff for desert!🙃

Well both good news and bad news situation. The only Good news is at this golden corral is the food is as usual very good. However now the sad bad news...grumpy toothless cashier yelled at us our server not once serves the adjacent server helped us food all over the plates silverware and floor now the servers definitely worked hard when they worked I could get the feeling they needed more employees yet not getting any. I like golden corral but doubtful I'll return to this one.

For as many people as they have working on the floor I don't understand why they walk past tables without clearing plates???? No one wants to eat with plates stacked on their table 🙄 Those plates sat on my table till we left & I was nice enough to make their job easier by stacking them. And your bathrooms are gross!!!! What happened to this place????

The room that we were assigned was very cold. They said that they were working on the heat. I think that they should have done more considering that many children were in the area. Perhaps, they will invest in space heaters or generators in the future. On the other hand, the food was great and there weren't too many folks waiting in line for it. The restrooms were cleaner than any other GC that I have been.

My adult son and I came here for lunch yesterday and overall it was good . I have been here once before about 8 years ago but he hasn’t . I did have a free buffet birthday coupon so that helped . Wasn’t to crowded when we arrived at 11:30 but it filled up quick . The place was very clean and it just appeared well taken care of by the staff. We tried all the different food groups and nothing was “bad “ but some things were better than others , all depends on your food preference . I started with a nice salad plate , plenty of choices there . We both really liked the meatloaf , pot roast , mashed potatoes , soft shell taco area and baked fish . The desert bar was nice , the chocolate cake and soft serve ice cream was really good . Our waitress did an excellent job clearing our plates and refilling our drinks , wish I could remember her name to give her a HUGE compliment . Lunch meals were $ 11.79 each ( one was free ) but even at full price it’s a decent deal.

What a great deal! My wife and I were going to go to Outback for a steak, but the wait was atrocious. She suggested we go here. It was very clean, the food quality was great and you get to pick your variety. Most of all the cost was less than 1/2 of what we were going to spend. I even had a piece of steak that was deliciously medium rare. We definitely will go back!

Food was very good; I treated my large group of extended family to late lunch and they really enjoyed it. Our server was great, however other staff at registers were not at all friendly or interested in making us feel welcome. Despite my holiday cheer and asking management politely, my request to save a table for 10 was denied. I stood up front by the registers with two other family members waiting, as we were told ALL my family must be present before we could be seated arrived. Note the restaurant was not even at half capacity at this point (2pm-ish). I offered to prepay for all 10 family members, but was told that was also not allowed. Additionally, this location is in desperate need of remodel and the ladies restroom was abysmal. Next time I treat my family to a meal, it will definitely be somewhere else.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. Went to the Sterling Heights location with my family. We were there at exactly 11 o’clock, when they opened. The restaurant was filthy. Nothing had been cleaned from the previous day, or maybe even longer. The bathrooms were disgusting, to say the least. No one was wearing hairnets. The glass that is above the food was dirty and full of fingerprints. The ice cream area was disgusting. The ladies working by the dessert section, were cutting up bread, I’m assuming for the bread pudding. She was cutting bread, looking at her cell phone, playing with her hair and drinking drinks. How is it that this place can pass inspection with the state of Michigan? I was thoroughly disgusted, and mind you…. We were the FIRST CUSTOMERS of the day. There are much better places to eat. We will never be back.

The line to prepay moves fast except on a Holiday. Food is surprisingly good and of vast quantities. It's typical for a man to consume 2 steaks and all the baked potatoes you can eat. Desert is very nice. Last time their they had 7 different kinds of pie and I tired every one and can honestly say they were delicious and compelled me to get a second helping. Don't listen to the trolls. This place has changed for the better. Enjoy this place. We are lucky to have one within driving distance.

I've eaten here many times in the past and always thought it was a decent place. However, my last visit change everything. While it was a Friday (3:30 pm), it wasn't as busy as it usually is. No one waiting in line to pay. Table selection, plentiful. Salad bar was decent, lots of veggies and fruits available and they were fresh. Yeast rolls were very good, too. That's where it ended, though. The soups are just chili and one other type. Today's soup was burnt, crusty, pasty...awful looking. All their varieties of rice looked good, however, they were ALL supper cold... just brought out of the refrigerator, maybe? The baked potatoes were exactly the same. All very COLD. The other side dishes ranging from cooked dishes of meats, vegetables, pizza, etc looked and tasted terrible. But the biggest disappointment was the steak entree and the so-called cook. He was very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. When I asked for another piece of steak because the serving size was extremely small, he said, "that's the best I can do". When nicely asked again and even pleaded for another piece, he got mad at me and slapped down a grizzly, fatty smaller piece and splashed meat juice everywhere. I walked away, stunned. Awful man, awful service. I intentionally didn't eat any of the steaks he slapped on my plate. I just had the waitress toss them out. Wish I could have a better rating for the woman who waited on tables- getting drinks. She was fine, intended on tipping, (yes tipping at a buffet) however, near the end of her shift, she got an attitude. After waiting for 15 to refill my empty drink, I asked her to refill it when she found some time. Glaring at me, she grabbed the empty glass, refilled it to the very rim and then slide it across my table, spilling a lot of it and making a complete mess. WTH?? NO tip for this woman, just a BAD review for her. I can't believe what has happened to a once decent buffet. For the type of service and food, it is overly priced. There is no fun coming here anymore. Definitely won't be back. Golden Corral isn't very golden anymore. Definitely tarnished.

This is my 3rd time visiting this place, we always have to stop here when we are passing through! All 3 times the service has been good, food hot, the only thing is last time we were there the ice cream machine was down which was a big bummer. Anyway, we will always visit when we come through!

First time back since the pandemic. The place wasn't crowded. The waiter was very nice, friendly and funny. They had a nice variety of food that was hot and fresh. However, the dessert area needed some love. They did not replenish the dessert. The ice cream machine wasn't working. Overall, I was still satisfied.

This particular restaurant was out of many menu items. The tables are packed so tight, that it is sometimes difficult to leave your table and come back to enjoy your meal, because other customers are so close together. The taste of the food is decent and we had a really nice server who was very attentive, in spite of how busy she was. There was a lot of waste in this restaurant and I don't know if allowing guests to touch the same serving utensils when getting their meal is a wise idea; especially with the pandemic and you could see that some people were visibly not well.

Went on Thanksgiving for the first time. The place was busy but the staff was hustling to keep things going. We waited about 10 minutes to get a table. All the food was stocked up and it was good. I'm proud of the staff for doing a good job and I thank them for feeding us on Thanksgiving.

They dump the new food into the old crusty nasty pans. It's supposed to be the other way around put new pan in and out WHAT IS EDIBLE back into the new pan. When I first started going here years ago the bread pudding was one of my favorite things around now, it's not even edible. Hard crusty AND rubbery, how do you even cause those combinations of texture!!?!? I'd rate zero if I could. This restaurant is a shell of it's former self.

This place could be a little better. The inside needs remodeling. It has been the same old color and carpet for years. When we walked in, the tables were dirty but clear of plates. The food overall is pretty good, my favorite was the hushpuppies. The taco bar didn't have much, and the ingredients appeared to have been sitting for some time. Vanilla is the only iced cream choice, and it seems to be unsweetened. Our server, Jowanda, was pretty good. ( no pictures, sorry)

Haven't been here in ages. A few friends and I met there for an early dinner on a Sunday. It was really, really busy. I'm guessing, church crowd. But, from the cashier to the server, they gave great service. Very clean, food was fresh and delicious. It was just a few items missing from the salad bar, and the ice cream machine was out of order. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will go back regularly.

I haven't been to a buffet and years and we came here as a group and I don't know what to say. The food didn't look appealing at all. It didn't look like anybody stirred the stuff. You can see a caked up in the pans Not stirred and mixed. This resturant. Looks like it will not pass any inspection. The carpet was filthy and dirty and has a old smell like somebody's, grandmother's, attic or basement 😖. The food was subpar. I had chicken and was really excited about it but it didn't have any seasoning. The steak was pretty good. The broccoli was good but I mean you can't go wrong with broccoli and it just didn't look good to me. I would most definitely not recommend this restaurant. Try another one. Funny thing is it was crowded so perhaps it's just me! Tried for yourself if you like 😏 I also like to add that the appearance of the staff would really help. I have yet to go to a place other than Chick-fil-A where the staff was just pristine clean clothes ironed belts on. Quality of life has really changed with how people feel about themselves and even staff ..says a lot about management But again, perhaps I'm expecting too much 😕 our server was excellent, fast and efficient and really serviced our table. That was the highlight of the evening. The food, the location, the bathroom. Oh my God I forgot about the bathroom... Just don't go with it. It look like someone mopped the floor with the chicken grease. So as I was standing in there washing my hands and getting ready to go to the restroom I was sliding on the floor. My foot was slipping. Just a mess. I'm done! They don't have to worry about me coming back but I'm sure they won't miss me cuz it looks like they get plenty of business

Golden Corral Buffet should be closed no matter which one you dine in the place is not together the food has gone down and the thought of everyone reaching and grabbing food makes you sick to your stomach, we went to Golden Corral for my grandmother 's Birthday because that's what she wanted to do I only went because of her the kids enjoyed themselves with the all you can eat but they had food sitting out that needed to be refilled and was not , they had no spoons clean so everything we ate including ice cream had to use a fork, the chocolate ice cream machine was down ,we got there around 7:20 pm they closed at 9pm no reason they could not put out fresh food that had ran out. And the only reason I feel like me and my husband did not waste our money is because the children ate but other then that it's a no for me and my husband.

All five if us was hungry. Well they had mad choices. I try several thing and the only thing not good was the backed/steam fish. My niece didn't like her rib. Our severe was GREAT!!! We about closed the place down. The table next to us had they on music planning but it wasn't to bad. Price okay. Mostly hot food. Big selection 👌 OH,the chili was good,roast beef off the chain my sister,my niece in-law & niece loved it. Little great nephew didn't like the mac-cheese HE LOVES MAC-CHEESE but not what the had today.

Service staff was short handed but those that were there chipped in to make it happen for our party of 11, that were there to celebrate my great nephews 6th birthday! Especially the cashier Meka stepped in to fill the drink orders and clear tables when she wasn't on the registers! The manager and staff have very pleasant attitudes. The food was DELICIOUS.

It was great when first opened 20 years ago- better food and clean. Now it’s not as good- desserts r low quality and most of the time it’s very untidy. The wait staff is so so with a few standouts and one that is particularly rude! Overall there’s lots of room for improvement to get back to what they once were!!!

I've been to this restaurant about 5 times and the management has made a concerted effort to have staff be more friendly and helpful and the food is being prepared better now with better flavor. I had the fish and shrimp this time and felt there was plenty (questionable in past) fish could've been crisper but still cooked well. I saw the salad being prepared and the staff seemed focused on the end product. Had trouble finding small containers for items like tartar sauce or looked around for about 5 mins for container for ice cream. Lastly, I was seated close to the area where they collect used dishes and even though the staff working there was very attentive the smell does kind of affect the taste of what being eaten. Space was also at a premium because it felt tight from table to table. Overall good experience here!
