Great experience. I've been to Sun Records, Muscle Shoals and Fame Studios and this little museum is right up there with the big guys. Highly recommended!

I couldn't believe famous people like Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and The Fireballs recorded in Clovis!! I'm a native New Mexican and have traveled through Clovis so many times without knowing this treasure resided in Clovis. The museum is informative talking about "The Clovis Sound" or "7th Street Sound." I would highly recommend visiting. I will definitely be back for the Clovis Music Festival since they bring in great talent based on the old signs in the museum.

Well worth a stop, the museum is Handicap Accessible, they have a video to watch, interviews with people who recorded and worked here. The memorabilia is worth a look at. We found it worth the time and money, and we didn't know some of those oldies we like so much were recorded in Clovis, NM. We wish we could attend their next Clovis Music Fest in June 2109 but we won't be in the area.

Great piece of history. Interesting articles from the period. Video was helpful in following the story. It was a good prelude to visiting the studio at 1313 west 7th. It gave some context to the studio. Really enjoyed the studio visit. Meeting David Bigham from "The Roses" who actually was a backup singer in the studio in the day.
