Really nice, authentic fish and chips. Friendly staff and nice outside area to sit and enjoy the fish and chips.

First time in a long time since we had visited the boat for some food and it did not disappoint. We where greeted by 2 servers who where great throughout and kept our boy company chit chatting. We had fish and chips, chicken burger with bacon, jalapeño, hash browns, spicy mayo and chips, kids pizza and chips with diluting juice and icecream. All the food was great as expected. We dined just after midday on a week day and it was not busy. We will be back again next time we are around the Clydebank area.

Food was nice, some of my goujons were a bit dry, but chips were fresh and the sausages my husband and kid had were smashing. Quick turnaround too. Need to go to try a frickle!

Been many times and it's always been decent but this time when I asked for halal as I usually do, the girl said they're waiting on fresh fish but only took ten mins. Always ask for extra salt and vinegar and this time it was bang on. The fish was light and crispy, full of flavour and not drenched in oil. Chips were much better than usual too. Hope it's like this every time!

Brilliant food, great service and the staff were very attentive to my 5yr old daughter. Best fish and chips I've had in ages and my wee girls pizza was lovely too. Massive ice cream with sprinkles for her after the main. Definitely recommend McMonagles and we will be back real soon.

All food is delicious. There's always a bit of a wait because everything is made fresh. Service is excellent & price is not excessive. Restaurant, including outdoor seating is spotless as are table settings. A lovely touch is that plates are matched to meal being served eg fish shaped one for scampi etc & even teacups, milk jugs all match. Whole experience was delightful.

Staff were nice, went above and beyond. Fish was fantastic. Just about to launch a gluten free menu if anyone's interested.

Had a fish supper and steak pie supper. Bog standard in terms of quality of food. Didn't even finish most of the chips as the weren't the best. Won't be back.

So do you fancy sitting on a picnic bench in a shopping centre car park to eat your lunch? Then your in luck. That's a bit cruel to be honest, you are also by a canal. The choice, service and quality of the fish and chips is great. A little short on vegetarian options, but if you are one you will expect that anyway. Loved the curry sauce. There is a gluten free fish if you need it So all in a good chippy.

Had initially booked a table in the restaurant, but they called to let us know the lift was broken, so we ended up getting takeaway instead. The food was amazing, thoroughly endorsed by my gran; "this is the best chipper I've had in ages". Will deffo be back to try the restaurant 😁

Went with daughter and grandson first I've been back in years Fish was small and greasy chips were black and young girl attending us was nice . The other members of staff working where very of putting one walking about chewing gum whilst serving just a one of certainly wouldn't go back to sit it

Still good food although the portion sizes have shrunk over the years and you're now looking at almost a tenner for a fish supper. It's starting to look a bit dilapidated, the good ship Debra Rose could do with a bit of sprucing up. Staff at the counter are friendly and efficient.

Best chippy in clydebank by far. Always lovely. Outdoor tables are a big bonus in the summer too. You can get kids meals, ice blasts and puddings too!

Experience not good, fish supper £8.35 Increase of over 1 pound but fish was more batter than fish and chips cold, service was quick but staff miserable and after they took my order and money I was told to wait outside, good thing it wasn't raining. Wont be back.

Most original experience? Aye that's true the growling faced bulldog that served me couldn't even muster up a please or thank you, ripped bag scrunched into a ball and grunted at as she slapped the chips on the counter, think someone need a bit of a personality and customer service training, it's no barlinnie yer serving in ya nutter.

Wee bit pricey but tasty and clean. Not greasy or stodgy like a lot of chippies. Lovely.

Arrived at the restaurant half an hour before closing but they still seated us and quickly took our order. Social distancing, staff PPE and frequent wiping of surfaces all good. Food great! We weren't rushed and were even offered tea or coffee in otherwise empty restaurant when we finished. I completed the contact tracing book but that was the only thing that didn't seem to be strongly applied as it didn't look like the number of entries for the day tallied with even the tables occupied at 19:30 far less the whole day.

Dreadfull online order sausage super overcooked rubbish dry chips no salt or vinegar nearly 8 pounds from this over 90 mins wait never again I will cook my own food prob safer,and btw your batter on the tiny sausage was pretty awful too sorry but sort out your oil
