On for young &old,tribute Beatles,John&Paul,coming,baby showers up on Mezzanine,many functions catered for.Had bottle Spanish White,good wine list with A.B.V.,strength.Pretty big menu,good food,modern interior,busy efficient staff.Tables outside.Family friendly restaurant.Plenty room inside to blob around.

Lovely atmosphere, foods good, not too expensive and the staff are awesome. We went for a joint birthday party and they couldn't do enough for us. Very attentive to customers and ensured everyone had a nice time.

Been here a few times for food and to be fair the food is usually good, a couple of weeks ago we tried to get a table but the kitchen was closed. Then a few days ago we came again and were told at 7pm that the kitchen. Very early to call last orders for dinner service

Do not try and go in here without a reservation with 3/4 of the tables for food actually empty it was "simply impossible" to find a space for me and the wife. Thanks for the no business and no service just because you couldn't be bothered. Would have loved to have given an opinion of the food but alas impossible.

Went in about 6.30pm looking for a quick meal before going to a show in the town hall. Was told that the kitchen was not taking any food orders as a large table had came in a minute or two before me. It was a table of ten! The two things that annoyed me was firstly the way the staff talked to me very abrupt and with no apology just "naw there's nay food" secondly there was very few tables with food and the large group was about ten people! If they had said we are very short staffed and can't cope that might have been OK, but the dismissive attitude of the three members of staff that had their conversation disrupted by me was unacceptable. I got a glass of soda water for my wife it was about £2.50 not from a bottle but the draught what a mark up. I keep reading about pubs shutting down I hope this is one of them.

Good large portions. Staff friendly and nice food. Chunky chips are fab!! Only thing was they would benefit from air conditioning in this hot weather. Otherwise great!! Cajun chicken strips the last time we're fab!!

One thing about Sixty Ate portions are Huge!! Gotta come in with an appetite. Food is yummy. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails, cocktails and mocktails come nicely presented and are on point. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Menu was a little sparse for a 6pm service but our party seemed to enjoy what they did have.

Well worth a visit, Saturdays is a good time to go around 7.30 have a meal and be prepared to stay till late and enjoy entertainment.

We found it really difficult to book a table for a Thursday evening after calling several times but there was no answer. We headed down anyway to see if we could get a table, but we're told they were fully booked as they were understaffed. This has happened to us a long time before. I asked how we could book in advance for next time as it's hard to get through on the phone, and was told to call weeks in advance.. Didn't answer the question about no one answering the phone.. poor communication and cannit hold on to staff. A shame as the food is really good, and they are sending people away when the place is quiet..

Sixty Ate my local bar, we eat there regularly. We had Christmas lunch and it was lovely, the staff couldn't do enough for us even though they were really busy on the day. Waited a little bit between courses but that's understandable considering the amount of people they were cooking for. Second year dining on Christmas day and will be back next year too.

We were here last night for a work night out. Food was all lovely, high quality and large portions. Staff were all very friendly and looked after us very well. Great variety of drinks available and there was even a singer! She was fantastic and a lovely surprise. We all felt we got great value for money, and have already discussed booking in for next Christmas! Thanks again 😄

Food and service lovely, the place was nice and warm and comfortable surroundings. These days a lot of places you go are really cold.

Dietary intolerance friendly! I have a fructan and lactose intolerance which can make it extremely difficult to eat out and some establishments won’t respond to me asking if I could dine there because of this. That wasn’t the case for sixty ate bar. After I mentioned my intolerances the staff went over and above to accommodate. They took note of the issues, let me choose what I wanted from the menu, and helped me adjust it to ensure it was safe. The staff even brought out portions of the meal pre-plating to double check it was safe which gave me so much confidence. The staff openly and kindly asked me about my intolerances and history which was nice as it made me feel like they were interested in understanding. They were so friendly and nothing was an issue, they made an amended steak dish which was delicious and would certainly have it again. I’ll certainly be dining here again. I held a surprise party here with 15 guests. The food was brilliant everyone loved their meals and it was reasonably priced. The staff were all excellent and the service was first class. The management should be proud of their staff as the excelled themselves.

Ordered the chicken fajitas weren't the best bit bland taste .and spices were just sprinkled on. The wrap was bit to thick . Didn't come out sizzling.

Family of 10 of us 6 adults 4 kids . They staff where amazing with us . Food was absolutely fantastic everyone of us enjoyed a 2 course meal . Sunday roast was very popular on our table 😋 honey chilli chicken was so good. Look forward to visiting agian . Ps the toffee apple pie was very good 👍

Hi was in on Sunday 4th table for 10 but only 8 managed was served by a lovely girl who was very attentive nothing was to much trouble and looked after our aunt in wheelchair food was very nice we had a lovely time until what looked like a bar manageress came to our table and said needed the table for 5 45 but was very abrupt a wee lesson in customer relations would help maybe a excuse me but we need table for the time or us to maybe be told at time of entry to your premises so sorry 4 stars and we wouldnt be back for this reason table was booked g for 2.30 for a family get together disappointed in the one female with glasses and red hair

Great food, large portions, pleasant staff and speedy service at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? Will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant. Had Mum's 80th birthday with over 30 for a sit down meal. The staff were amazing and attentive and the food was fantastic. Can't recommend this place highly enough, a must go to. We'll definitely be back.
