Came in other week for a pie and a half pint a heavy and was greeted by two pimpled bottoms and a wee hairy in her knickers playing a game a mixed pool in the nip. My wife and I were absolutely pure stunned and we left as soon as we finished whur pies. Won’t be back till they have given that pool table a good wash doon.

Went here for the first time recently and enjoyed the visit. Staff are very friendly and drinks prices very good. Food available too. Would go back when in the area again.

This pub has been closed and boarded up for months.

Great place for the locals, as an outsider they made me feel uncomfortable, prices are fair, great for bands, my first visit was to see a band, had a fantastic evening, although a few of the locals made me feel unwanted and out of place, been in a few times since and thankfully I was left alone to enjoy my night. Would not recommend going on your own if your not from the area

Lovely bar, just called in for an hour whilst waiting for an appointment locally, excellent staff clean and tidy, and spotless toilets which are for me is a good guide to the rest of the establishment, I will call there again when I am in the area.

I had the best night ever last night at the horse and barge. Friendly, welcoming and excellent staff who couldn't do any more for you. Many thanks for a super night. X

Great pub especially if you've been to golden Jubilee hospital but mind 35 ml measures if you're used to getting doubles beware great value lovely pub

large meassures, good prices and a friendly clientele. Lucy the bar maid is a wee star, made us more than welcome.

Had an amazing nite... Only here for one nite as having a wee opp at the local hospital 😔 great bar great atmosphere and everyone was soooooo friendly... Will definatly return 👍 👍 ☺
